Setting the bar for other platforms to emulate
By far the easiest & quickest turnaround for buying/delivery out of all the platforms out there.
Secondly, delivery is a tiny bit more but the most securely packed compared to the other ten auction houses I use!

I came across Wva whilst looking at selling my dad’s miniature collection.
George was so helpful from the start of the process to the end.
He collected all of the bottles personally and kept me updated at all points of the process.
Their prices for selling knock all others out of the water and their customer service was impeccable

Ridiculously long auction ending…
Ridiculously long auction ending timescale provides no certainty or assurance....the auction end process advertised on the site as ending from 8pm....at 10.20pm, the site is still accepting bids possibly even later, who has the time to remain engaged in an auction bidding process for over 2 hours?? I get that WVA want to get the highest price per lot and hence commission but the bidder experience suffers significantly....needs a rethink and quickly.

We are sorry you feel this way and didn't understand our auction end process fully, it does not state anywhere that our auctions end at 8pm, it says on all correspondence, emails and T&C’s that FROM 8pm our software will conclude the auction when bidding falls below a certain level. This helps our sellers get the best prices for their bottles and also stops bidders from getting sniped in the dying seconds. Thank you

Courier issue resolved
Have used WVA quite a bit always good whiskies, always prompt with invoicing and dispatch after the auction closes, slick operation.
Recently had an issue with a courier delivering to the wrong address, contacted both the courier and WVA, im yet to hear back from my complaint to the courier but BECCA at WVA couldnt have been more helpful, replied to my query email first thing in the morning and kept me informed of what she was doing to resolve the mis delivery, brilliant customer service and i will happily recommend WVA to anyone. Thank you again Becca

The WVA employee whom I dealt with was extremely helpful and did every task that he said the company would do. Contact was maintained at all times and I had a very good experience during my first auction. I would definitely recommend WVA to anybody selling whisky and I would use them again.
