Incredible customer experience. Handle was damaged a couple years ago by my partner accidentally. This was not a flaw of the product, any knife would’ve received similar level of damage. This is... See more

Don’t buy! Unsafe and caused injury
My mom bought me their knife set. She was trying to remove the tape and glue that was on the knife to clean it for use and the knife cut through her finger. It was such a deep cut that it wouldn’t stop bleeding when pressure was applied. She went to the doctor and he gave her triple antibiotic ointment and said to monitor for infection. Thankfully her finger recovered and has a scar now after almost one month of not being able to use her finger, not getting it wet and preventing infection. I notified their customer service of her injury and that they did not have proper warning or instructions of how to remove the tape and glue off the knife in the first place. Their staff seems unbothered and wanted to give a giftcard to buy more knives on their website. I’m sorry but if you get gravely injured by a knife from a specific company why would you want to purchase another from them?? Does that even make sense? These people have no care in the world if someone gets injured by using their knives. They are extremely sharp and have horrible packaging that have caused the injury to occur. Don’t buy their knives.
Beautiful knives with a real lifetime warranty
I have 8 Wusthoff knives that started as s small set 20 years ago and has been added to with the odd present here and there. One of the handles developed a crack and the rivets on another started to oxidise ( both 20 years old!) I wrote to Wusthoff with photographs, and they promptly replaced both within 48 hours- fabulous customer service and beautiful knives. A lifetime warranty that means lifetime!!
Blade cracked after 1 1/2 years…!!!
I bought a wüsthof classic knife. ( 20 cm ), last year in April 21!
I was really pleased with this knife! Until 1 1/2 weeks ago it suddenly had a crack on the back of the blade. I wrote two times to the customer service of wüsthoff!!
No reply!! I’m really disappointed about the fact that they just ignore me AND the obvious doubtable quality of the knife.
I always took care of this knife because it was such an important tool for my cooking. I can’t believe that a knife like this just cracks without any obvious reason! And that they don’t reply is another downside !
Good Customer Service
I purchased a Wusthof breadknife online. It's the sharpest knife! Unfortunately it fell and the blade broke. I contacted Wusthof Customer Service in Germany and they kindly replaced the breadknife free of charge.
Amazingly good customer service. Just stellar!
One of my Wusthof knives developed some small cracks in the handle. This is after about 15 years of use. While I was trying to find out how to patch this, I read somewhere on the web that this was a known problem with some batches of knives, so I contacted Wusthof and they immediately offered to send a replacement knife. No receipts required. No trouble, no hassle. Thanks, Wusthof! Many other companies could learn from you about how to create loyalty and overjoyed customers.
