Wouldnt Refund the renewal

I used the platform for several months, then moved to another platform which was better. They renewned my subscription after 12 months as although I'd stopped using the platform, I hadn't cancelled. I immediately contacted them, and explained I hadn't used the system (which they could see) but they refused to refund the renewal. Seriously not great customer service.

Plugin Advanced Ads Wordpress: No more!

Hello,

We have used the plugin for 3 years, so We have good knowledge of what I am going to say.

PROS:

Thomas updates your plugin constantly, and always tries to fix errors quickly.

The developer (Thomas) understands perfectly the ADS business, not only Google Adense, but also knows a wide advertising networks.

The plugin is well done. There are no delays, nor does it increase the server CPU.

The developer responds emails. maximum 24 or 48 hours.

We had positive increases when Thomas adjusted the plugin according to our indications (the plugin not count the visualizations correctly) You had to insert the php code, if the changes was not done, 1 ads did not perform correctly.

CON:

The plugin is hard to configure (I am an advanced user)

Sometimes gives problems to update directly. We could never get do update automatically.

The plugin sometimes is not inserted correctly certain ads, you have to make some adjustments and insert with a PHP code. If the change is not done your earning drop. (To activate the plugin you must know your website and your income perfectly).

No more promotions, offers or discounts. (after 3 years of use there was no discount or offer for us)

We obtained an excellent promotion of 3 years when we acquired the plugin (no more). In short we are today without updates. (With dangers of hacker attacks)

The price is high. Many of us don't need ALL the features plugin. The Advanced ads pro version would be enough, but .... The version is split in 2 plugins (ads pro and responsive ads)

Here is the biggest sin: The responsive ads option is an ADDON, when it should be part of the Advanced ads Pro. Who does not use responsive ads at this time? This forces you to pay for features you don't use.

The plugin is split into several addons, this makes you have to install MANY addons. In our case and as the great majority, we should only install 1 addon. But for the business (Thomas), you need to buy 2 addon.

When you have a serious problem with the plugin, you should wait up to 48 hours to get some help (is not a promise of a solution). In the beginning when we buy the plugin, Thomas do setup on your website. Nowadays, what was a benefit is no longer.

When you have a problem with your earnings, the answer should be instantly!

Hi Russian,

Thank you for taking the time to review my website and for being my client for 3 years.

I am very proud that you highlight the high standards I have for support and my understanding of the ad business. My experience as a publisher and WordPress developer definitely shapes my product.

It looks like you are very happy with the product and support, but not the business model. I don’t know if I can win you back by explaining, but since this project is my baby and I feel personally attached to every review, I have the urge to reply anyway.

When you became a client 3 years ago you have a 50% discount on renewals if your subscription is still active. If you canceled it or are a new client, you can get All Access for a highly discounted price or All Access long-term to allow long-time clients like yourself to save even more. No strings attached.

> Here is the biggest sin: The responsive ads option is an ADDON, when it should be part of the Advanced ads Pro. Who does not use responsive ads at this time? This forces you to pay for features you don't use.

You can purchase each plugin individually or get All Access. The Responsive add-on does not need Advanced Ads Pro.

I understand that not everyone likes that add-on model. If I put all the premium features into Advanced Ads Pro then that plugin would cost double the current price (like All Acces now). Instead, I chose to split features so that users could only get what they need for a lower price. This actually enables you to save money and not purchase features you don’t use.

I think we mention in an auto-reply that it can take up to 48 hours to get a reply, but that is not an official rule. Our average reply is within 10 hours with almost instant replies during our working hours. I find this amazing for a small business like Advanced Ads since this average includes replies to customers around the world (we are in Germany) and weekends.

Isn’t this an amazing service for a plugin that costs less than an hour of work from a WordPress developer with 10 years experience?

> Nowadays, what was a benefit is no longer.

I don’t know the specific case here. I have to draw a line at one point where I cannot solve individual problems when they are either not related to or caused by the plugin or documented in the manual. I still offer to log in to customers websites when we both believe that this could help me solve a problem.

I am sorry about the individual issues you described. I know that each of them one can happen and in some cases, more of them happen to the same user. In a complex system like WordPress, with dozens of plugins installed, conflicts are always possible. It sounds like we found solutions to most of your problems, but also learned in the last 5 years that sometimes, we just can’t figure out solutions for every issue. This is why we have a 30-days refund period with no questions asked.

You made it clear that you left Advanced Ads so I am not asking you to give it another chance. I am thankful that you highlighted the many positive aspects and gave me a chance to explain myself regarding your negative experience.

All the best to you and your project!
Thomas
