From two weeks to five months to settle

I made two claims on the same day. One of them was settled smoothly in two weeks. Perfect. The other, however, took five months to settle which was less satisfying. Some part of the delay was due to the car rental firm somehow not finding the rental agreement, but still you'd expect a quicker settlement. Good, in any case, to get the excess covered in the end.

They were reliable, communicative and patient. I have used this service 5 times and I am very happy with them. I would highly recommend them.

Good insurance from a supportive, friendly company

Given the cost of excess insurance cover from car rental companies, for the past few years I have taken out such cover through third party companies. I have been with Worldwideinsure.com for nearly two years, with very competitive cover/cost ratio.
I recently had a negative experience with a rental company at Stansted Airport that charged my over £500 for minor damage which I don’t accept was sustained during my tenure (yes…they’ll be getting a review too!)
They took that cost from my £1500 credit card deposit and so, with no alternative, I made a claim for the cost with Worldwideinsure.
Claims are made via their dedicated and user-friendly claim portal which allows for a very straightforward claim process. Their representative, Syazwan, handled my claim throughout, was a great communicator and very helpful. From beginning my claim to receiving my reimbursement took little more than a week.
I think that, given my experience, this company stands out as a great company to deal with, and it felt refreshing to be with an insurance company that was very much focused upon getting things settled. I will be renewing with them and would recommend them to anyone.
