Missing Parts and Rubbish customer service

I purchased a Shimano 10 speed from this company on Ebay and the only thing in the box was 8 gears I have been sending them messages as I would like them to send the missing gears and the fixing nut.
The goods came on the 30th May today is the 9th June and still no reply other than an automated email saying they will come back to me

Wonderful customer service

Had a problem with a deda super box mount and Kevin went out of his way to help me figure out the problem. He also said they will put the information on the listings about the mount. Wonderful customer service!

Good Deals & Reliable

I looked up The Wooly Hat Shop, out of curiosity. I had bought a number of various things from Bikeparts and my Credit Card bill was sometimes to The Woolly Hat Shop.
I read the Trustpilot reviews and was surprised that some of the reviews were negative.
I can only speak from my own experience, I have found that BikeParts/Wooly Hat Shop is reliable and offers good deals.
My first purchase was for inner tubes and so not going to break the bank, if it went wrong. As they continue to offer good deals I have continued to use them.

Great for bike parts

Also known as BikeParts.co.uk in Biggin Hill. I rate them very highly for ordering bike parts. Prices and selection good, easy to navigate and pay (I use Apple Pay usually) and orders have always arrived quickly. Now my first port of call for parts.

Dreadful communication

Wish there was a zero rating. Ordered a pannier carrier for my bicycle- nothing fancy and they cancelled purchase with no reason or excuse.
Don’t waste your time with this lot!

Proper customer support

Great support provided to repair a faulty Knog headlight. Communication was quick, return postage provided. Light successfully repaired and promptly returned to me. Nice to find a seller with proper customer support.

Useless and deceptive service

Useless and deceptive service. Didn’t ship order, clearly doesn’t have the stock it’s advertising but takes the money. I should have read the other reviews here first!

Just avoid this company at all cost.

Very poor

I ordered, and paid for, an item from this company via Amazon. A few days later Amazon cancelled my order. I haven’t a clue why and I’m now very let down indeed. My concern is that they are advertising products they don’t have available and in stock. It all seems very ‘fly by night’. Avoid if at all possible.

Dishonest

Dishonest. Brought some tyres fitted them six months later, on my first ride out one tyre wall failed resulting in the tyre coming off the rim. Contacted woolly hat, was told they would investigate under the warranty. I ask for a tyre to be sent out so I could still use my bike. Now the are saying there is no warranty. I’ve contacted trading standards, they told me woolly hat are lying. I am still fighting.

Fast delivery

Ordered a seat. Arrived in good time by royal mail. No problems. Do not normally give 5 stars due to the fact I have not had to deal with any problems so cannot comment on their after sales service. But good so far.

Good Service - would use again.

Ordered a rear derailleur, even with covid warnings around delivery times arrived within 7 days, they provided a tracking number through Royal Mail which worked, although they could have told me it was a Royal Mail Number in their email, but that is a small issue.

Very poor screwed me out of money for a delivery that never arrived.

Be warned do not use this company on eBay ordered pedals which never arrived and no evidence Royal Mail actually delivered to my address. I am now out of pocket for £27 and no refund in sight.

CUSTOMER SERVICE 1ST CLASS!

Had a problem with a purchased wheel. Sent video as requested replacement sent by return avoiding the pain of returning defective wheel.

Previously have also been contacted when I ordered the wrong part and given great advice.

Can't recommend enough!

Excellent customer service and would highly recommend

I've been buying bike parts online for many, many years now with lots of the big name companies out there and with varying degrees of customer service. Recently I bought a wheel set from Woollyhatshop which arrived promptly but there was an issue with them which needed addressing. After calling Harry at their Customer Services department the problem was rectified quickly, efficiently and without fuss. I was very impressed with the service and Harry did a great job in resolving the problem.

The wheel set that I bought is excellent quality at a very competitive price, well packaged and built up professionally. I am very pleased.
