Shocking shocking shocking
It pains me to say but the service here has been absolutely awful.
Order placed on 20/12 pre Brexit
Some items not in but promised they would be in within a week.
11/1 refunded because VAT had been charged but refunded without the shipping charge
Chased and got shopping recharged
Asked if the product was in stock - told yes so placed new order
The item wasn’t in stock so went on pre-order
Arrived in Spain, couldn’t pay charges on their couriers website
Sent mail to Woodworkers workshop - received a response a week later
Paid the charges
No delivery - sent email on 03 Feb asking them to chase up
Received a response a week later after I chased again.
There was an issue with their courier in Spain it would take a week to resolve
I chased 10 days later after no communication
No response from Woodworkers workshop
Today I received a refund - but partial because of the charges I had to pay which I cannot recover
Awful service - never using them again
Following the reply - I suggest you read the emails to highlight how many errors and the obvious lack of communication on your behalf. As you say a regular customer, if I get treated this way - God help any newcomers.
Happy to be rid of Woodworkers Workshop - shocking service.

Saddened to see that you have written us a 1 star review whilst we are trying to resolve an issue you have with the Spanish tax authorities. After being a regular customer for the past 4 years with 10 orders delivered to you in Spain without issue, Brexit and COVID have thrown up many challenges. We have 20+ emails between us since your first order was received in December, which was fully refunded once the port between the UK and Europe was closed before Christmas. You were made fully aware that post-Brexit you would be responsible for the Spanish duties and taxes. We are also currently implementing a new website where customers can pre-pay all tax and duties at the checkout and that should go on-line in April 2021.
The products you ordered again in January have been in your local sorting office since Jan 29th . My team have spent many hours trying to expedite your delivery on the final 15 miles of its journey but as this has proved difficult, you have been reimbursed, in full, for your order and delivery charges. The local taxes and duties you have paid are also in the process of being refunded to you by the Spanish Tax authorities and are outside of our control.
Prior to publishing your review you were made aware that we had fully refunded you for your order and shipping costs, and that we cannot pay you the taxes you have paid directly to the Spanish tax authorities - the duties are on their way to you already, so you will have recovered all payments.
You thanked my team for their help saying they were “awesome” before “threats of legal action and letting everyone know on all reviews”. You have obviously decided to take this course of action - we can do no more to expedite your duties and tax refund from the Spanish Authorities, which is already on its way to you.

Bought an iGaging Snap-Check device. Came promptly, and works as described in Peter's video. Just what I need for my router table.
I can also recommend the woodworking starter course.

Just before Christmas placed several orders for some Woodpeckers tools, as always first class service from Woodworkers workshop. When you call them they are always very helpful and nothing is a problem even if you have asked to return a product. Looking forward to see what new Woodpeckers tools will be offered this year as well. Keep up the great work guys.
