You cannot find two nicer people in Theresa and Ady from Woodside Cat Trees. Their trees are bespoke to your requirements and are a work of true love, craftsmanship and dedication to their art.
I saw the tree I ordered on line and mailed my enquiry. Theresa and Ady called me to go through exactly what it was I was looking for. Each piece is made to order and it shows in the quality of the trees they make.
Every time someone new comes in to my home, their first reaction is WOW when they see the tree and the best of all is that our two cats absolutely love it too. No better compliment can be given than that.
Stunning piece of craftsmanship which will stand the test of time.

We recently purchased a cat tree from Woodside Cat Trees and it is absolutely phenomenal! Theresa and Ady were really helpful to ensure our specifications were met and the finished product is sturdy, extremely well constructed and finished to a very high standard. There has clearly been a lot of consideration to ensure the cat tree is safe as well as fun and an attractive addition to our living room. Our 2 cats absolutely love it! We also purchased some cat toys which have gone down a treat (the moghogs are a clear favourite). We also really appreciated the personal touch of the communications and the delivery (including on-site assembly). Highly recommended.

We wanted a cat tree that was unique, made of real wood, and looked nice in our living room, so we didn't feel like we had to put it away when we had guests over. Theresa and Andy took great care to make sure they understood what we wanted, they sent us samples, asked to see pictures of our living room so they could match the materials, and gave us regular progress updates. The tree we got is amazing. The fur we picked is so soft and beautiful. Our picky cats took to it instantly and are already arguing over who gets the top perch. The tree fits really nicely into our space, it was well worth the wait and a good investment.

I’ve been looking for a bespoke cat tree for many, many years having always been disappointed with the standard and quality of all the ones available to buy. One random day having another search I came across Woodside Cat Trees and excitedly sent an enquiry after browsing their website and being in awe of their creations. My request was for a small tree (I live in a two up/two down Victorian property) with a shelf for food. It was also important for me to have something that was aesthetically beautiful - again unlike shop bought items, this is an investment.
After exchanging emails and calls I could tell this was a challenge for Theresa and Ady who hadn’t done a feeding shelf before but were totally up for doing it. The whole process took around a year (they had a lot going on with the business expanding, new premises etc.) which might seem a long time but I can say the whole creative process throughout that time was so enjoyable, it felt as though I was part of something really special and it never felt transactional (although all of this was very clear from the start). I wanted it to be right, and to be right had to take time.
When the time came that it was ready i wasn’t disappointed! Meeting at The Cat House in Norwich and handing over, it was a pleasure to meet them both. The tree itself fits perfectly and went together with ease, I managed to do it on my own!! The feeding shelf works perfectly, the craftsmanship and quality is undeniable and it is so beautiful.
My cat loves it. She happily eats from there, plays, scratches and chills on it.
I’ve hopefully been some help to Theresa and Ady being able to feedback how well the shelf is working, being a bit of a tester for them.
So, so happy with the outcome!

I 100% recommend Woodside Cat Trees. The tree is truly a work of art and it is obvious that so much love and care went into every aspect of it. Theresa and Ady are truly interested in learning about your cats' needs and personalities. One of the best things about our Woodside cat tree is that it will be with us for a lifetime as our cats age and eventually when new kitties may join our household.

One of our cats previously had a bad experience when he fell from a prior mdf cat tree and lost his confidence afterward. It has been so fun and rewarding now watching him gain his confidence back with our incredibly sturdy Woodside cat tree.

It seems nearly every day our cats are finding different ways to explore this beautiful cat tree, whether it be for a snooze, to jump across from the sofa or to use the platforms, to get up high to monitor their kingdom, to hide out in the kitty cabin, to bask in the sun, to play, etc.

Oh my, these guys are such amazing craftspeople, with an eye for detail like no other. I would rate their cat trees among the best in the UK, in fact THE best.
Ady & Theresa recently completed work on their biggest cat tree yet, for my soon to be opening cat lounge in Norwich - The Cat House - Cat Lounge & Arts Centre - Norwich and I absolutely love it... so do the cats!

It is a beautiful, sturdy tree! It was designed specifically for what we wanted & needed, as we have 2 big cats who already destroyed their previous one. But the one Theresa & Ady made is just as we asked, solid and very pretty. It's about 5ft4, and they made sure it would fit in perfectly in the space we have at home, which has tricky angles. They were in contact with us as they constructed it, and they've been lovely all along. Our cats also loved the extra goodies (catnip & toys) that Theresa makes. It obviously takes time to build, but it seems like it will last many years and it's like a piece of art at home!

Outstanding service and quality products - which is why I now have 4 of their cat trees. What I love is how Ady and Teresa take the time to really understand what will work for the space you have and the needs of the cats and then deliver an exceptional bespoke outcome.

We commissioned a cat tree from Woodside cat trees in Dec 2021. We asked for a 6ft tree we three beds and one cabin. We were restricted on how wide the base could be but we wanted it to be sturdy and pleasing to look at from whatever angle. Ade and Theresa were so thorough. We had regular calls and I just knew from the beginning that I was working with professionals who never compromised on the end product. I received the tree on the bank holiday and I am so so so impressed! It has the wow factor and the cats are permanently on the tree. Worth every penny. Bravo guys, I cannot give enough praise. And to go one more I was gifted two cat nip toys which are super high quality and my two boys are hooked.

I cannot stop staring at this most amazing work of art! Theresa and Ady are so talented. The quality, craftsmanship and artistry that they put into creating my cat tree cannot be surpassed. What is more, they listened to my vision of the ideal cat tree and created exactly what I had envisioned. They work with creative depth, construction precision and business integrity. My furry boys love their new bed/playtree!!!

We received our cat trees at the end of May and are impressed with the quality and craftsmanship! They are robust and really well made and good looking. One of my friends said, it is a piece of art. Can highly recommend Ady and Theresa, the process was easy and any - even last minute - requests were incorporated. Thank you both also from Pepper and Casper who both love the trees.

Awesome scratch post! I can't thank Theresa and Ady enough for their excellent service and even more excellent products. If you are looking for a quality bespoke cat tree/scratch post I would thoroughly recommend them. The quality and attention to detail are superb. They are understandably busy but still go out of their way to discuss you and your cat's needs and keep in touch every step of the way. I am eagerly waiting for my second one!

Absolutely AMAZING! Theresa and Ady were the utter peak of professional from the get go and poured endless love and passion into my build. I haven’t been able to take my eyes of it since we got it home. It is as much a work of art as it is a functional unit for my beloved pet and just stunning in the house, a total show piece. The attention to detail of every inch is evident and I’m immeasurably grateful.

We came across Woodside Cat Trees after an internet search for handmade cat trees; after a long phone chat with Ady & Theresa we came away thinking this is just what we are looking for - someone in the UK who makes cat trees using proper natural branches and with care and attention to the needs of our cats, unlike *anything* you could ever find from an online store.

We measured the space we had for the tree and they spoke to us about what they could do to best use the space, including everything from the light from windows, height of surroundings, where the cats liked to sit normally, how high the cats could jump, position & angles for best views - both for cats and us! Our requirements changed a little in the early stages as we spoke with them more and discovered some of the new "add-ons" they were developing, which we knew our cats would love and which we had to order!

Gradually the design came together and we got to see pictures of the fur for the platforms, the chosen branches, mock-ups and finally the tree as it was assembled. This process took a little time but we weren't expecting a bespoke piece of furniture to be quick and we knew it was going to be worthwhile!

As we lived 4 hours away but were visiting family locally, we picked up the tree ourselves. Seeing it in its finished state, we were stunned how amazing (and big!) it looked, we were lost for words... after we got our voices back, it took Ady about 5 minutes to take the tree apart so we could load it into our car. All the connections were labelled for us to put it together again at the other end. Theresa had also thoughtfully made some small catnip toys for our cats from left-over material used on the tree (a *beautiful* long faux-fur in a swirly "Almond" colour.) We couldn't wait to get home to see what our cats thought.

After returning home it took less than 30 minutes to put the whole thing together, mostly just one of us doing the work. I really, really appreciated the quality of the fittings Woodside used, it made the construction so easy and I can tell this thing will *last* ! Though our cats were initially wary of "the new thing", they were climbing to the top within a few hours. They have since spent plenty of time on their new tree *every* day for the last few months and we are so happy!

TL;DR we went looking for a homemade cat tree but what we ended up with is beyond anything we ever imagined; we love this tree and we can tell our cats love it just as much ! There is so much for them to do and places to sleep and we think they will use it in different ways depending on the time of year. It is really a unique piece of furniture, the branches are beautiful (and lovely to touch) and we are so happy with it. Thank you Ady and Theresa for making this happen.
