Out of 13 packs only 4 boards had defects. I managed to make my cuts so the defe is are now in the local tip. Everything slowed together nicely and only a few of the plastic end joint sealy clicky things played up. So far easiest floor I've laid. Looks really good

I had Brecon Flooring laid 2 years ago and it was great for about 4 months and then starting splitting, separating and cracking. I had a company surveyor here abd have complained to wren . I see that the depth of the product has now been increased so it impossible to get replacements for the area affected. I have wasted precious funds with no recourse at all .

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!!Ordered vintage oak flooring only to have been delivered valley oak flooring. This is very deceptive! First time customer experience and I am very disappointed with the service! Will not be ordering from the company again.

Brought this Flooring through wren & that is when the problems started boards are that thin they crack or chip when fitting & the click and lip design on these boards are terrible Bend and break so easily this flooring is not fit for purpose, I have had many people ask me about flooring and I tell everyone stay away from Woodpecker flooring it's not fit for purpose and absolutely sole destroying paying a fortune for this flooring for it to constantly crack , chip. If anyone told me before the problems I'd have I'd advise them to avoid Woodpecker. So anyone who is looking at buying Woodpecker laminate flooring DON'T SAVE YOURSELF A FORTUNE & ALOT OF HEARTACHE!!

We spent around £3000 on Brecon flooring for the downstairs of our house in 2022, plus approximately the same again to have it laid.
Within a short time it was breaking/chipping at the edges and corners. I took this up with all parties at the time and reached a complete dead end - Woodpecker would take no responsibility because it was laid with underlay (this was actually Woodpecker underlay that was sold to us on the same order!)
The floor has completely broken up, every single join is peeling or lifting up. We just have to live with it because we have no funds to replace it. It is completely heartbreaking.
I am only posting this now because I see multi other reviews of people having the same issue, so please take this as a warning not to touch this product.

I have phoned quite a few companies and got some good and some bad responses. I asked questions on your chatline and received really useful help.

I wish they had been clearer that it would be a curbside delivery. But now that it's done and installed, it looks great. This review is for the Berkeley Burnt Oak Engineered Wood

I had a Woodpecker floor fitted when I bought a Wren kitchen, now the installer I used was a a recommended installer Wren use. The floor after 18 months had a split appear on the laminate part of the board, but the board its self is solid. I contacted Wren who intern contacted Woodpecker flooring. Now they have said the fault is down to me using insulation pads as the instructions say no underlay. What a load of crap, the answer to their question is in the product I used name, insulation Pads. Ive have used these pads all over my house, I have never had a problem with any flooring that has gone over them. I can understand if they are referring to a soft sponge underlay but not solid insulations pads designed specifically for laminte flooring. After a simple google search I've found Woodpecker flooring has had a faulty batch of this Brecon flooring, weather or not mine is in this batch I don't know. Woodpecker flooring continues through Wren to refuse to repair my flooring. I am now about to research my rights via Trades & Standards. If you've purchased a floor from these and you develop a fault. they'll send you a questionnaire, just answer don't know to any installation questions as they'll try and wriggle out of repairing or replacing the said product. Avoid. 22% negative reviews says its all, people do read reviews and this will surely start to effect their business in a world of social media, maybe only when Wren drop them they'll take customer care more seriously. I will update when I hear were my rights to pursue this are.
excellent service and lovely excellent quality flooring

A well machined product. Excellent value for money. Were any growth imperfections these have been well filled and machining mostly put these to the edge the plank. Once laid looked really good. Delivery was quick and easy.

My issue is extremely similar to previous reviews. After having all our downstairs flooring removed, screeding done, then had the 'signature' brecon flooring laid. In no time at all it separated, lifted, chipped etc. We contact Woodpecker flooring and one of their surveyors came to do an inspection, basically took no responsibility at all which I found quite appalling considering how much the flooring had cost, the surface area it covered, and how much disruption it would cause to have it taken up and replaced. They said it was a screeding issue. I feel very let down by this as every day I'm reminded of how rubbish the flooring is. My sister also purchased the same flooring around the same time, she has the same problem too. Out of interest the surveyor did go on to inform us that the flooring we had purchased had been removed from the market for a short while and redesigned and made stronger, then put back on the market again. So an admission it was faulty and not fit for purpose but still blamed the screeding. Very disheartening.

Utterly heartbroken . We have spent thousands of pounds on this flooring . Had it laid our entire downstairs, it’s been down less than 6 months and it’s chipping up, bowing, coming apart.
Mortified - initially bought through wren and the rest bought independently . Ashamed to show off our new renovation with shoddy flooring.
Currently hiding it with rugs

Bought this flooring when ordering my kitchen with wren. After a few months it has moved leaving gaps and split in a number of areas. I contacted wren over 8 times now and was informed the representative from woodpecker was coming 5/12/24, still no contact from woodpecker. I thought I better ring to confirm someone was coming, to be told the rep broke down on Sunday on his way up to Scotland (I live in Newcastle) No one bothered to let me know and it is 4 days ago they have moved the site visit to the 16th Jan now over 6 months from original complaint. Terrible product, but even worse customer service would never use them again and advise anyone to run from this product.

We installed woodpecker floors across our entire flat, including our kitchen.
They look beautiful and are really easy to clean.
They are hardy and do not stain, which is essentially for a kitchen.
Simon from Woodpecker was incredible. We installed the floors ourselves, Simon was on hand to answer any uncertainties and provide a calm approach when things got stressful.

We have just had our flooring fitted through wren, the quality of the flooring is awful, after only a week we have scratches!!! This is not a hard wearing floor as advertised. I am truly disappointed with how easy this flooring has marked. It has nothing to do with the fitting this is a product fault!! This is not hard wearing flooring and I feel we have been mis sold. So disappointed.
