Excellent purchasing experiencing but terrible tech support.
The salesperson was helpful and knowledgable about the fireplace logs they sell. The logs arrived safe and sound in just a few days. Installation was pretty easy but the directions for the remote were confusing. Apparently there are several different models and I wasn't sure which one i had. I called tech support and was told someone would call me back within 72 hours. After much online searching I was able to figure out the remote issue BUT NO ONE FROM TECH SUPPORT EVER CALLED.

I have received a high quality Napoleon Element 36" built-in electric fireplace undamaged in a record time (ordered on Monday and received on Thursday od the same week). The communication was great and the representative was knowledgeable and helpfull.

The item had parts loose inside
The item had parts loose inside. They were rattling around. After moving it in preparation in install the loose item stopped moving around. I checked it out and it all seemed to be functioning. After conferring with Woodland Direct Tech Support I was instructed to proceed with the installation. I was inserting the fireplace inside my existing wood fireplace. I fund the installation to be quite difficult. I had to modify the facia surround to make it work. The attachment holes provide were in direct interference with the feature used to attach the removable bottom section.
