STEER CLEAR of Hampton Manor of Woodhaven
After visiting multiple assisted living/memory care facilities in the area, I decided to move my mother into Hampton Manor of Woodhaven. The staff was always friendly, but they honestly do not know what they are doing. BEWARE: There are NO trained medical staff on sight at this location. The people handing out medications simply have to pass a company designed exam. They have no understanding of what they are passing out. My mother lost over 40 pounds in the short time she was there. The place looks great, but the staff, while friendly, simply aren't trained correctly and staff turnover is insane. Also, the management doesn't give a damn about the residents; they are simply a paycheck to them. If would not send a loved one here at all! I'm not sure if there are any goods ones out there, but this one is DEFINITELY at the bottom of the list. Horrible care and horrible management.
