I bought this in 2018 at The Photography Show in the UK and used it on a three month visit to Australia. It was ideal for camera and lens storage but I had a slight issue with the cord not releasing the back pack. Since this I have not used the release system.

The release system has since stopped working completely and is jammed in the up position but with an couple of inches ‘drop’ on the rear making it uncomfortable to wear.

I don’t know whether the company are still in existence but I can’t find any details of website or contact details to see if I can sort this issue myself.

This is a great idea and is a shame that it’s now useless .

I’ve had a Captura Camera backpack for two years now and I love it. The high quality and durability is definitely there. I recently purchased a telephoto lens though and was hoping that there might be an optional extra insert available to tailor to long lens’, if not would this be something they may be available in the future?

I had a problem with my backpack. I had broken it through self-blame after an e-mail to head office with a question to think along in a solution, this was immediately positively addressed by
Staff members. despite corona they spoke to me. Happy with the purchase of a backpack, was already happy with it, but now it appears that service is also good, completely happy with investment in top stuff! thanks in particular Jo! Greetings Ralf from the Netherlands

First off, the bag’s design is pretty brilliant! I’m a big fan of innovation when it works, and this is the Backpack 2.0. I have a shoulder injury (which is the main reason I was interested) and the amount of pain it saves me is huge. I’m on my bike constantly and the ability to access contents of my bag without taking it completely off and on, off and on...it’s happiness-making. Workers at bag-checks are always delighted. It did take me a few tries to get a feel for the mechanism, but I got the technique down pretty quickly. It’s very well made and durable, but I managed to rip the main zipper anyway. I contacted the company about the lifetime warranty, and sent a photo of the broken zipper. The response was super-nice, just asking to confirm my address. Honestly I expected a protracted return process (especially from across the pond). To my delight and surprise I received a new bag a few days later! I was shocked how nice the experience was! Try this bag... you’ll be the coolest kid on your block!

I purchased a Wolffepack Metro back in 2016 and it's served me faithfully as my main backpack ever since. On a recent trip away the zip track on the main compartment unfortunately slightly came away from the bag, meaning both zips eventually came off the track. I contacted Wolffepack on Friday lunchtime and by Monday morning had a brand new replacement under the lifetime warranty. Fantastic service and really good bag!

I purchased the Wolffepack Metro because, as a frequent tube-traveller, I was drawn by the ability to switch the backpack to the front, as well as by the dedicated pockets for a laptop and/or tablet. I've had only two minor problems – a connecting snap which broke, and a problem with the zipper. In both cases, I got in touch with Jo and her colleagues at the company, who promptly assured me the glitches were both rare, and covered by warranty. All in all, I'm happy with the product, and hugely impressed by the customer service.

I bought an Escape in January 2016, and have happily used it for urban travel in the US, UK and Middle East since then. Yesterday a zip broke. This morning I contacted Jo at Wolffepack to enquire if this was covered under the lifetime warranty. She answered immediately to say that it is, and a new backpack is on its way to me.....today!

I bought my first Wolffepack - the 'escape' and six months later bought the skiing version. The first was purchased having followed its development before it was launched. When it arrived it lived up to all my expectations. As an 'I get fed up pulling my rucksack off and wearing it backwards on my chest when I'm travelling' type of person I love the ease of securing this without taking it off completely - and it so works. Its also a great - well made, well thought out rucksack. I love the company and they have been so responsive when I have been in touch. Highly recommended - so is the Skiing version.
