10 stars - best product

I wanted to express my gratitude and appreciation for the Agency team on supporting me when my bottle top was no longer working. I was so taken a back when you sent a new bottle I was almost in tears. Also, it was shipped right away and got to my house within 5 days!

I have been on Agency tretinoin for over a year and a half now. It has made such a different in the appearance of my skin, and I get compliments all the time!

I believe in the Agency product so strongly and their support in getting my bottle top resolved was another testament on it.

Overdoing Tret -

I would have put 3-4 stars but since ending my membership the website will not allow me to leave a review which I think is suspicious. I used aspostrophe a little over a year before they went out of business which was so sad because I had great results with tret + niacinamide and hydroquinone. It was the best my skin has ever been. I found agency looking for another company - in the meantime I had my derm prescribe tretinoin and those formulas are just simply awful. How have they not updated anything?? I was never able to acclimate to agency tret and my skin was always burned and became worse. I think they overdo the formula. Originally I had tret, niacinimide, azelaic acid and trazenemic acid. I think I am allergic to azealiac acid because both times I’ve used it (Paula’s choice first) I had the worst painfully burned skin - not their fault. I had to stop for 3-4 months to repair my skin and then got the same formula minus the azelaic. I still could never acclimate despite having great results from tret before. I think they just put too much into it - tret is tret. It makes your skin great without extra acids. It’s a solo act. My skin has never been sensitive, but after using agency I couldn’t even use copper peptides or vitamin C. It was always red, burning and raw. I could have asked for minus the last acid but I just decided agency isn’t for me. I also am so over having acne I said if in three months it hasn’t helped I’m finally doing accutane and that’s what I’m doing. One more pregnancy test and I start. I love tretinoin will absolutely use it again post accutane for anti aging. Agency was never friendly to my skin like other versions I’ve used. The fact I can’t leave a review on their site post cancel makes me feel like the company is not transparent so for that reason alone I will not purchase another item from them. If it works for you I’m happy, acne is the worst thing ever!

Watch this company!

Watch this company! Prices are crazy high. They will send you the product even when you request a hold. Charged me full price for a bottle after I was told it would be discounted. On and on. Customer service is a joke. Offered me a discount on the next shipment if I wouldn't cancel but nothing for what they already sent. Buyer beware!

So disappointed!

I’ve been with Agency for 5 years and their sister company Curology for several years before transferring. I loved the product and never had any complaints. My skin looks great so imagine how disappointed I was when I recently discovered my subscription had been cancelled. I reached out immediately to be told my payment could not process so they cancelled me. I never received any notification of any issues and my bank said they had no record of any issues. I requested Agency contact me to figure out what happened but no one has reached out to me. The AI text said my only option was to renew at the higher price of course. Good news is that I was able to subscribe through another company at a lower cost. I guess loyalty doesn’t mean a lot these days.

Did the trial

Did the trial, was billed, told them I didn't want it and cancel, they refunded my money, 2 months later they billed me again. I once again told them I canceled, they told me it was too late.
Not sure how many times you have to cancel. Have to block my card from them

Doesn't work

The sample was little nothing. Tried the full size bottle at $70 that didn't last even a month and made absolutely no difference. It was supposed to be hydroquinone with azeleic acid. I've used azeleic acid before from the ordinary. It work miracles on my redness. This didn't even touch it. Not to. Mention my hyperpigmentstion didn't even begin to fade. And it's a bottle. Inside of bottle with nearly a quarter inch difference in size. So it looks like you're getting more than what you are. I was extremely angry as I get a whopping $100/week from disability to live on. I spent my money on the chance that this would work and be worth it. It wasn't sad to say this company is grossly overrated. They're rude and are not interested in accommodating customers they've deceived. Why would they? They're liars. So I guess I'll just have to figure something else out and cut my losses. But it made a huge dent in my finances that month. I hope they go out of business.

Customer satisfaction not important to Agency.

I completed one month of the future cream and responded to their questions about my progress. I informed them that my skin reacted poorly and that the results took several days to resolve. They never offered to adjust the prescription, but instead, charged my credit card and quickly shipped it out the same day. I was not notified that a new supply was shipping out until I saw the charge on my credit card. I communicated with them through a chat and was told that I could neither return it or receive a refund. This is extremely poor customer service, and the first time any beauty company I have done business with, has not assured customer satisfaction. I will never order with Agency again. The product cost $80.

product ran out before the month was up. Took them 10 days to get the replacement to me. Offered by a $5 credit. Terrible services

Multiple orders where pumps didn't work…

Multiple orders where pumps didn't work at all or properly. Reformulated and irritated my skin and instead of offering to reformulate or refund me they just offered to cancel my subscription. I'm a licensed Esthetician and this is subpar service for a medical grade skincare line.

Contacted by customer service after reading my review and given a partial credit on my last order and a credit towards my next bottle. I'll give it another try and update my review accordingly.

I would not recommend starting with…

I would not recommend starting with Agency. In my experience, they don’t provide the personalized care you’d expect from a company that claims to have dermatologists on staff. After nearly three years with them, I’ve decided to cancel my subscription.
I explained that the prescription strength was too harsh for my skin—even the lowest dose caused breakouts. I ended up mixing it with lotion myself, which helped a bit and led to some improvement with dark spots. But I also get professional skin treatments every few months, which means I can’t use retinol for about two weeks during those times. Because of this, I use the product less frequently, and their policy only allows two skipped months, so I’ve accumulated a backlog of bottles—many now expiring.
They continue to send products without checking in or adjusting based on my needs, which feels more like a subscription model than true care. I will go to a true dermatologist who would tailor a treatment plan to my skin, adjust it as needed, and not overprescribe just to make a profit.
The idea of convenient skincare is great in theory, but in practice, it didn’t meet my expectations for individualized care.

Please know that to see how your skin is doing throughout your Agency journey, a check-in will become available on your dashboard nine days before a new shipment is processed. Based on how your skin is adjusting to your formula, we will offer guidance, suggest an increase in the strength of your prescription, or connect you with your provider.

We also do allow you to adjust your shipment date at any time via your Orders Page. This is not limited to two months, and you have the ability to change your shipment date to ensure you're only receiving shipments as needed. We offer pre-shipment SMS alerts upon request as well to remind you to make any adjustments. I do apologize if that was not made clear!

Responsive customer service and supportive doctors

The doctors are communicative and available for questions at any time. Customer support is responsive and quickly sent a replacement when I had a faulty bottle. There are many companies providing this service/product, but this is why I stay with Agency. They value and support their customers.

Amazingly quick to resolve an issue with shipping.

This is my second month using future formula and I've already noticed a huge improvement in the color of my pores and smoothness in areas that were previously rough and a bit itchy on my face.

My second shipment was lost even though USPS said it was delivered and I dreaded reaching out. A live customer service rep quickly responded after a few back and forth emails with their AI service and made sure we could resolve the issue. Literally all this was in a 1 1/2 hr span. I am more than impressed
