Visited Wirral gun over the weekend . As a new comer to air rifles but not shooting I thought I would be a good idea to go to a specialist air rifle shop . Well how wrong was ?. The first person I came across was a gentleman? With a South Africa accent no problem with that . Unfortunately he was the most unhelpful arrogant miserable person I have ever met , he was definitely not the person I was willing to purchase a pcp rifle and other items from so I was disappointed with his attitude I kept my bank card in my wallet , I was later approached by a other gentleman I believe now he was the owner he seemed to be more helpful showing me some rifles unfortunately some of the information he gave me was also suspect, sad to say I was so disappointed I thought what’s the point there not really bothered now so if I spend over £2000 on a rifle what will happen with the customer service , I believe it would be a problem if anything went wrong warranty wise, I see they have had some good reviews maybe this is when the South African gentleman was off ,if you go to this shop avoid Mr SA he will definitely spoil your day , or even better avoid Wirral guns totally

I have since visited a number of gun shop all where very help I purchased a new rifle with all the relevant pressure cylinder also time was spent advising on scopes which I also purchased obviously this cost just over £3000 , I can now say I was extremely happy with the advice and with the service , as a added bonus I was given free life time warranty 4 tins of pellets , I was also take to the range and assisted with zeroing the scope and rifle , that what I call service shame a local dealer like Wirral guns cannot do the same , the owner seems to not understand that having a member of staff who is unhelpful is not good I see the same member of staff has had other complaints say no more it’s also worrying that he owner has very little knowledge of his products , which stud out a mile to say I was looking at budget rifle was rubbish I asked about Air arms , Daystate FX king I wouldn’t of thought they where budget , also no fairytale to say I complained about bad service and business yes I do , I suggest you look back in you previous review , strange most people are saying the same things, your business is just totally unprofessional and your attitude make me wonder how you have a dealer license

They went above and beyond to get me a co2 they never had in the shop the phoned around and found me one even though they were very busy great guys to deal with and they give great advice thank you again

I bought a used CO2 pistol in an estate sale and found it had numerous faults. Couldn't find anyone in the area where I live (Norfolk) who wanted to do the repairs so I sent it off to Wirral Guns who repaired it for a sensible price and kept me fully updated on progress. Got it back this morning restored to full working order. Very pleased, happy to recommend and will use again.

Great place to buy your gun. A superb amount of stock to try out which you can’t do online.
However, don’t expect customer service as any query post sales is met with sarcasm and guffaws of laughter. Poor.

Impressed with the selection of stock and add-ons and the knowledge of the staff. A really quick turnaround fixing a rifle and I'll be back for some range time now I know how close to home this is.

Recently went to Wirral Guns to pick up a new air rifle,there where a few other customers in the shop I thought I may be moved through fast but I was so wrong got excellent service nothing too much trouble all questions answered and scope I'd bought elsewhere fitted. Booked an hour on the range for the Friday they helped zero scope and again great help and friendly .was going to give four and a half to keep them on there toes but credit where its due.so five
