They dont work properly, money takes forever to be put to use. Stay FAR away from this scam site, if they cant solve simple problems like a minor crypto transfer do you really want to put your money into their hands?

Dont trust WIREX. They keep your funds blocked for weeks. There are better alternatives.

So today I instructed a payment to the local council to pay council tax. The payment from adequate funds has not gone through!
A few hours later I received an email inviting me to take an appropriateness test - more happy to take the test (as I am an experienced investor) however takes me to the app with nothing further.
Wirex please improve your service and explain why my payment (from fiat currency GBP) has not gone through as this is a standard transaction not related to crypto or investing.

After years or using program my account was suspended for review (thout everythind ok) usualy it takes few hours or few days, but now my account locked 6 weeks and from wirex any answers or contants. If i write letters getting only standart copypaste apologies.
Customer support is terrible.
Giving 1 star couse you can hold in these card only as much money as you are not afraid to be freezed for a long time without answer.

I still think this bank is a scam, but at least I got a response even though it says they are sorry they have to close my account due to me breaking their rules and regulations, all I did was start a class Action against them and I am the one who broke their rules. I have also contacted the financial ombudsman and a journalist, I still urge everyone to do the same. My account is now officially closed but still don't have my money back so still pursuing a class action, I am hoping the compensation cripples the bank.

I believe that you are treating your costumes well and I also believe that you can figure out everything quickly because it will have profound outcome on your services and in my case as well. I appreciate your hardwork and professionalism and if there are some procedures that I should go through, I will collaborate with pleasure.

I emailed Wirex requesting a full refund for the total amount of $8336.26 NZ of BTC and XRP monies, (which would be so much more now) that were stolen from my WIREX account sometime in 2023. I haven't received a reply. My account has been closed down and I can't access it. In December 2023 a friend managed to access my account whereby we made a shocking discovery. I was distraught to discover that WIREX had depleted the entire funds in my account to zero.
After much research on other platforms we discovered from many very disgruntled WIREX users that WIREX charges storage fees on inactive accounts. After studying the terms and conditions I noted they neglected to inform me of their intention to charge the fees as stated in T&C, "30 days notification would be given". This wasn’t honoured.
I received many requests in 2022-23 that I update my details, biometrics which raised many issues and delays and poor customer service while I was trying to do this. Finally they sent an email demanding the usual plus that I change my phone number which I thought was scam (as why should I change my phone number? very strange and dodgy request.) The final email I received last year was that my account was going to be closed down and I wouldn’t have access to it. What on earth is this?? Bitcoin was designed to be "the peoples money" so it comes as a great shock that Wirex would design a product that is punitive by charging exorbitant storage fees.
Over the 2022-23 period Crypto had reached its all-time high then the market turning to a downward trend into a bear market, I decided to hold and wait until such a time the market was ready again which I believe is now. However not being able to access my account I am unable to do anything. Extremely BAD Experience.

I am trying to contact the help center and there is no response.is not support at all.

I started using Wirex in a small way as a test about 3 years ago. Because of illness for at least a year my access (password) was mislaid.
I cannot get in - their systems are slow and go nowhere with circular routes to change a password. There is no contact point.
Have these people ever been investigated?

I have written multiple reviews about this bank and I get a reply here before I get it to my ticket I’ve been patiently waiting they have blocked my bank and everytime I ask for help or an update it’s the usual message everyone here is getting about “ We are truly sorry for the inconvenience caused by this matter. I have forwarded your case to the relevant team and will get back to you with an update as soon as there's any news“ every time it’s the same answer I’ve had enough my pay goes into this bank and I can’t change it, it’s terrible.

Wirex is very irresponsible. Customer support is not answering or just saying "relevant team is working on your issue". it can take mongges till they show up with an answer but not solution. I think yheee is no other choice but to report the UK financial regulator and ask for help. ticket #5806430

Be Careful, Wirex deactivate my card and blocked my money and account eventually without any Notice. I have contacted several times to the customer service but they are saying your account is under review. Be careful.

So, they stole my 13k € too? Like what the others here said: account locked without reason and not responding! Since 6 weeks!

I hope this company loses all their investors,they just emailed me saying they were closing my account and when I asked why? They gave no reason whatsoever. All my funds have come from my job over the years. So there was nothing illegal in any way, I paid my taxes through wages and whatever was left I used to invest in crypto. Wirex is disgraceful and I wish I NEVER found or joined this institution. Every single positive review I wrote for them will be changed so other people can avoid them like a plague. Trust me there are far better options than Wirex, their customer support is also legendary as being the worst in the industry. The day they go bust is the day I pop a bottle of the finest in celebration. If you were thinking of joining them please consider other options. If they could do this to a previous loyal customer then they can do it to you. I'm ashamed that I recommended Wirex to so many people. EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE ARE REMOVING THEIR FUNDS AND CLOSING THEIR WIREX ACCOUNTS AFTER I INFORMED THEM ON WHAT WIREX HAD DONE AND HOW I WAS TREATED. I HOPE THIS COMPANY GOES BANKRUPT. Buongiorno, nonnostante WIREX confermi ciò io che ho documentato e scritto, nonostante ciò continuano a ritenere corretto la loro tassazione di 30 giorni ad 0,03 BTC x giorno fatta sul mio conto ,azzerrando così la mia mastercard wirex.
Di seguito cio che mi hanno confermato e scritto:

February 2023 was the 9th month of inactivity. November 2023 was the 18th month of inactivity.

The system changed the first inactivity fee on the 10th month of your inactivity, which was after 26th February 2023, the increased storage fee was charged from you on the 19th month of inactivity, i.e. after 26th November. Your 18th month of inactivity occurred from 26th October to 26th November. ( NON E VERO )
So the increased fee started the calculation of 0,003 BTC per day on 27th October and changed you for 30 days on 26th November.

Watch out for these thieves. They also took away all my cryptocurrencies as part of the monthly fees, only to clear the account completely after 18 months. So maybe their card is good for something, I don't know, I haven't checked, but if you are going to hold cryptocurrencies and wait for better times, stay away from Wirex because they will take everything from you

Yet again I have received the standard reply from wirex customer service that the RELEVANT TEAM are handling my refund this team must be the most inept bunch of employees ever it's no wonder wirex is a shambles they have been HANDLING my refund for months when you think XRP can handle 1500 transactions per second it shows how poor Wirex really is and if they reply to this will be really sorry for the inconvenience as soon as we have an update blah blah blah relevant team company is basically stealing people s money
