Been a long time customer with the game store (mac side, and now windows side too), because they are cool. i dont normally write positive reviews, so easy to just rant negativity all the time in reviews instead of dropping a good word were a good word is due. so here i am dropping a good word! (whats that smell?)
These guys(gals?) are great... i mean, ive had some hiccups at times, sh* happens, ya know? but their support is lightning fast. Almost like they care about us or something lol. Even chat with them on Discord. turns out they are gamers like the rest of us, and not stuffy corpo types who dont even know what gibbing someone means. I also like they dont send my email and order history to trustpilot like other stores do ...
Anyyyyywaayyysss... im rambling. Good stores (both of them, same store, just different platforms, mac/win).

Buy with confidence!
I discovered WinGameStore while browsing for discounted games on "isthereanydeal.com." The store offered a great deal on the Steam game "Teardown" in which I was able to purchase it for $10 off! The product key was immediately provided to me after my purchase with no delays. The service provided by this website is amazing. You can truly trust the quality of the product and the speed of delivery.

Slow, terrible experience with no communication
Ordered a game, 24 hours later I have nothing. Order is still processing - awaiting manual review. Support is not responding, despite payment going through immediately after placing the order.
Never buying from them again. Ridiculous that in this day and age I have to wait for an electronic code for more than 5 minutes, let alone 24 hours or MORE. Who knows when Ill actually receive my code, but by then Ill probably have canceled my order.
Terrible site, non existent support. NO WARNINGS about the long waiting time. Do not waste your time on this site. I just wish i read some reviews of the page before I actually ordered.

We would have happily cancelled and refunded the back-order for you. You emailed us about your back-order at 1am on Sunday, and by the time we got to your ticket in the queue at 8am, you had already filed a dispute with your payment source. Sadly, it can take us a little longer to help on weekends and holidays.
First Purchase is very slow
Store has a manual review policy in place for your first purchase without actually mentioning it anywhere during the purchasing journey.
A short mention/warning with an estimation of how long the review process might take based on when you make the purchase would go a long way, but I guess that runs the risk of losing potential first customers.
Instead the customer is blindsighted with this manual review policy, the problem is exacerbated if you are a EU customer and making a purchase outside of US working hours, as their review staff is not active outside those hours.
It's baffling to me that they've been able to get away for this for years and still haven't improved their first purchase experience.
Unless this aspect improves, I refuse to do use this store in the future

We apologize your first experience was so bad.
As many digital goods merchants do, we employ global anti-fraud services. Keeping fraud down is how we can offer great discounts near margin. Without doing it this way for years, we would have been put out of business by all the rampant acts of fraud and malicious people.
Once in a blue moon that system flags a legitimate person for review (AI isn't all that great). So instead of outright rejecting the user, we have the review process for a real human to check.
We see you did get your game ok, and hope you have fun with it, despite the horrible delay in your order process.
