Installation was flawless. Installers were meticulous, professional and left the work areas spotless. Windows fit like a glove! Outside noise practically gone while insulating factor is very high.

The salesman David Roberts arrived earlier in the day the first time and i informed him that i will need to reschedule the appointment.
The saleman than showed up pounding on my door after 9pm uninvited. First words out of his mouth can I at least give your a damn quote !
After knowing what I know now about quality windows and actually educated, theirs only one window that you actually get what you paid for and that’s UNIVERSAL WINDOWS DIRECT UniShield.
If you don’t believe me then educate yourself on what the NFRC P-1 chamber proved.
Simply put I went with Universal Windows Direct and their exclusive Unishield Window.
Also the next day I got an email from the manager Richard Hansen at window nation saying how he’s happy to hear I had a great appointment with their rep yesterday, and sent a blind quote completely irrelevant to the scope of work I wanted done. Ya being cussed at door pounding uninvited at 9pm… great appointment right !

Too many problems with window nation
I was told I needed a new door due to a defect. The technician came out to replace the door and said it was not a defect and he could fix it I agreed to having it repaired pending if it doesn’t hold or happens again something else will need to be done. The area was patch. It looks bumpy and messy

Difficult to get replacement part for repair
Terrible customer service to get a simple part. I requested on 12/30/25. Today is 3/10/26 and I still do not have the replacement part. I was told I'd be updated along the way and I wasn't. I called once and was told there was a miscommunication and the part wasn't ordered. A month wasted. Then it's ordered and still no updates or part. We had great service when we got our windows installed so I am surprised it is so difficult to get a small part, or at least some communication on the delay. Frustrating!

Loose rubber strip at the base…
We had a loose rubber strip at the base of our door (froom Window Nation) Service was initiated quickly - we did have to wait for parts to come in - and service tech came and did the work in professional manner. This was a free service.

Great Response to window installation issues
I love that Window Nation has a lifetime warranty on windows and screens. I wish the salesman was more specific about the size windows we were getting. Now we're stuck with smaller windows probably for the rest of our lives. :( Because the windows were smaller than the opening, they had to frame in, add foam insulation and caulk, and then we had cold air coming in. Jeff came out to fix the air coming in, and he was very nice and thorough. Despite his efforts, air is still coming in. He said I could contact him, if there were still any problems which was very nice. I haven't called him back yet. I think the value for the money we paid was not good. The windows themselves are good. Love the wood-grain look.
