Bobs lodge is beautiful…

We stayed in Bobs Lodge which was absolutely stunning. The children had their own area upstairs and the lodge was surrounded by fields with animals- alpacas- ponies- sheep-deer-bats and Scooby the friendly farm cat.
The accommodation was immaculate and it had all top range appliances. We loved the hot tub and the dome- couldn’t get the hang of using the telescope sadly. We made good use of the garden and slide and played lots outside. Plenty of seating both in and outdoors. It was an idyllic location and made for a beautiful relaxing break away.
Also straight forward booking, fantastic communication with owner and a lovely cake, coffee and fruit left for us to enjoy!

We had an amazing time in the 'Chicken Shed' at Winchcombe farm. The whole site is amazing, quiet, peaceful and the accommodation is of a very high standard, comfortable and a home from home in the Cotswolds. It was my 60th birthday and we sat in the hot tub drinking champagne and looked at the stars from the clear dome. An amazing experience and very close to interesting sites to see. I recommend a walk around Warwick with a visit to the castle, take in some Shakespeare in Stratford upon Avon and marvel at Blenheim Palace. Thanks Jo, you made us feel very welcome and we will be back

A fabulous, luxurious family holiday

A fabulous holiday! We had a wonderful time in the luxury of Ben’s Burrow. It was perfect for the three generations of our family - lots of indoor space in the spacious and well-equipped kitchen and lounge and beautiful outdoor space with the glass dome on the lake, bbq, pizza oven and hot tub. We stayed in February half term, and were so lucky to be able to enjoy the outdoor space. Its location is perfect for exploring the Cotswolds, Warwick Castle and Stratford-upon-Avon. We loved these trips and some brilliant local country walks. My children loved the alpacas, ponies and sheep on the farm. Booking and communication from Jo was an excellent host throughout and we were made to feel so welcome. We let her know that we were celebrating some special birthdays and were delighted to find the house decorated with Happy Birthday banners - such a lovely touch. We have wonderful memories of our holiday at Winchcombe Farm and can’t wait to return and make some more!

Another fab weekend!

Ever fancied getting away for something completely different with friends. I did and that's what we did at the start of February.

Excellent facilities. We let Jo and Steve know what we were doing, so we had a few theme decorations to our Treehouse.

I've already booked for 2027!

A birthday to remember at Bob’s lodge

We have stayed at Winchcombe farm three times now in the Chicken Shed, Wills Tree House and most recently Bob’s Lodge and what an amazing place it is! The attention to detail is fabulous my children loved feeding the pony and admiring the alpacas. Bobs lodge was great for all of us to celebrate my birthday in style and we will 100% be returning! Thank you so much Jo, Steve & team for making my weekend so special x

An ideal spot for a family gathering

An ideal spot for a family gathering, this place exceeded our expectations. Jo, our host, welcomed us warmly and was very accommodating. Everything matched the descriptions perfectly. We relished having breakfast in the dome near the pond, savoring pizzas by the fire pit under the starlit sky, and embarking on delightful long walks in the area. Just a quick drive took us to Stratford upon Avon, offering a different yet enjoyable cultural experience. This weekend getaway gifted us with numerous cherished memories. Much appreciated!

An amazing and unique property which was just as fun for adults as it was for the kids! So many thoughtful touches- from a welcome cake & flowers to kids toys and robes for the hot tub.

The host was also great- very accommodating of our needs and great at communicating.

We had such a special weekend and will definitely be back!

Very well equipped beautiful place to stay. Our third trip here but this time just with our grown up kids and 2 grandchildren under 2. Nothing was too much trouble 2 high chairs and cots provided. Communication is always excellent which enables a happy time for all.

We really enjoyed our stay in the…chicken shed.

Everything was spotless and the lodge felt very warm and cosy. It was great to wake up and look out to see the ponies and alpacas in the field directly outside the front door. The children really liked feeding them!
The hot tub out on the rear deck was enjoyed every evening, as was the geodesic dome although it was a little too cloudy to see stars.
I would definitely return to Winchcombe farm and perhaps try out one of the larger lodges with friends and family.

Wonderful location for a family…

Wonderful location for a family celebration.
Our host Jo was extremely friendly and helpful. All the facilities were as described.
We enjoyed breakfast in the dome next to the pond, pizzas around the fire pit gazing at the stars and lovely long local walks. Stratford upon Avon, culturally a different enjoyable world, was a short drive away. Our weekend break leaves many good memories. Thank you.

idyllic & peaceful woodland lodges

this was our fifth stay at Winchomber Farm and we've now, between our group, stayed in 4 of these wonderful lodges. no detail is overlooked, everything you could possibly need is provided - pizza oven, bbq, hot tub, fresh flowers, cake, fruit, milk.... everything is also impeccably clean and all staff we met on site really friendly. it's such a safe place for our children to explore freely giving them a sense of independence. another wonderful trip and of course we'll be back again next year!!
