The specifications on the web fit with the real. That's what I like. And the better is the host, they are kind and thoughtful. They answer my messages faster.

I have no doubts, in my future travels, I will use Wimdu.

UNSAFE PAYMENT HANDLING. Absolutely horrible way of handling payments. I made a booking request. Wimdu took the money from my account immediately when I made the request. The request was refused after few hours. It took 6 days until the money back to my account. Without having the money in my account I was not able to make another booking and I needed one during the following 2 days. I called customer service and they told me it was my fault that I did not read the terms and conditions carefully. This is WIMDU's fault for taking/blocking funds before making sure that service will be provided.

We have been cheated by Wimdu: we rent an apartment in Reykjavik for 4 people, two nights, in June 2016. We were unable to check in there. The host address was incorrect and the contact telephone was not registered (checked by local police). Wimdu charged immediately, but the host gave no sign of life ever, despite our repeated attempts to contact him, to discuss the details of check-in. Wimdu has not wanted to take any responsibility despite being the only money and communication managers with the host. We tried to inquire in the area about the apartment but nobody knew anything, neither the police. We had to find an alternative accommodation and the next morning we contacted Wimdu via its website, several hours before 24 h indicated by them as a deadline to pay the host. The service customer only serves to pretend they have, because they do not solve anything. Their excuse was they had already paid the host. This service is diffuse and they give preset answers, without capacity for solving problems and taking care of the quality of their offer, (they still are offering the same apartment). It seems they do not have any interest in keep customers. Wimdu is like a web of contacts that you do not know how many are real.

This company takes months to answer its clients and they have hidden fees which the client does not see when paying for the booking, not to mention all the scammers that are on the website.

I have had very bad experiences with Wimdu and Kingly rentals. Wimdu is not to be trusted, many advertisements on their website are false. I came in contact with Kingly Rentals through Wimdu. I was ripped of by Kingly Rentals, it is a fake company. Be very careful when dealing with these two companies!

Do not book thru Wimdu. Trying to book a villa at Ibiza we got in contact with a fake company - Kingly Rentals - and found out they steal peoples id's/pictures. Their web changes all the time - new names, new pictures. So be careful. Do your research - and for good sake - AVOID Kingly Rentals!!! They're fake.

They do not have phone contact and d'ont answer e-mail. I rent my house through them and they transfer my money (1750€) to a fake account. Do not trust this site.

Easiest and best way to traver. All: service, apartment etc 5 star :)

The best: pools and openair living room, just perfect the breakfast!

Me and my partner stayed two nights at a Wimdu's apartment in Copenhague, where we shared the apartment with its host, who by the way happened to be a very pleasant and helpful person. It was very similar to a hotel experience, only cheaper.

We found Wimdu to be an excelllent alternative to staying in hotels. The information provided by the hosts was generallly very good with respect to directions on arrival and getting around the city and we were very well attended. Unfortunately we had a mishap on our first night of arrival and an emergency telephone number for Wimdu would have been greatly appreciated. We would suggest that this be provided for all clients to resolve problems in situ as quickly as possible. However, we were very satisfied with the overall experience and will use Wimdu's services in the future.

Really close to cuidad de las artes and very well communicated by public transport. The owner is really nice and helps the guests a lot. The flat is small but enough for 4 or 5 people. Very clean. Good and cheap restaurants near.

we were scammed by a property on Wimdu - which W said they had completed their 3 point checks. we were led onto a false/mirror website with payment details. Despite 2 families being scammed of €2500, Wimdu took no responsibility and wouldn't help investigate why their 3 point security failed. They have since removed the scam property BUT we are left without any cover. Really shocking.

Everytihng went smoothly, from booking, to correct booking, correct number of days, payment and email support.
Only drawback is that it was not published every booking has a commission to pay to Wimdu, which makes sense, but I was not aware of that until payment was done.
Also, good thing that payment could be done by Paypal.

So recommendable

You can trust Wimdu. Our experience was 100% good !!!
