Stay away

Stay away from any "service plan" they offer you, the sales people are complete scammers. Amad Hasan offered us a service plan, which we had to cancel because they couldn't provide paperwork to cover it, then they decided that there was an "Admin Charge" of £33.16 which was never advised at the time. We have reported their conduct to the FCA.

The worst dealer experience ever

The worst dealer experience ever! My Range Rover P550e had a catastrophic electrical fault on the M6 a few months ago, whilst travelling at 70 the car shut down leaving my partner and her mum having to coast to a stop on hard shoulder! The car was then recovered and sent to this dealership, whilst on a test drive to try and diagnose the fault they crashed it, and ever since I have had no communication with regards requested feedback on photos and a report of the damage and no communication as to when the car is likely to be sorted! Been months now, disgraceful! Avoid this dealership at all costs...
By the way this isn't the first bad experience with Land Rover, their dealership in outskirts of Croydon is just as bad...

Bought a 36,000 mile XKR from Williams…

Bought a 36,000 mile XKR from Williams Jaguar at Trafford Park. The car had bodywork issues which I was told would be rectified. there were two areas which were missed and I was told that the bodyshop technician couldn't do them (?) I got a quote from a local bodyshop to me and they were done no problem, Williams reluctantly agreed to cover the cost of £400.I am not a bodywork expert by any stretch of the imagination and it was obvious talking to the bodyshop technician that the '3 stage polish' which should have been carried out had not been carried out at all. The warranty received one month after purchase was a very basic third party warranty with a £1,000 claims limit, not worth a carrot on a 503bhp Jaguar. I complained to my contact (Adam Westell) and he informed me that cover over this limit was not available, which is blatantly not true. I just got supplied with the cheapest warranty they could find.I have owned 2 XJs, 2 Range Rovers and a Discovery 4, all bought from main dealers but I will never deal with any JLR main dealer again. Avoid Williams Jaguar at all costs but if you do need to deal with them do not think that because they are a main dealer that you will be treated any differently than you would by a back street chancer

I’m really disappointed with the…Ongoing Brake Issues Following Replacement – Trafford Park Branch

I’m really disappointed with the service I received from the Land Rover branch in Trafford Park.

I had my discs and pads replaced all round back on 8th October, and ever since then I’ve had constant squealing and very loud noises when braking. It’s honestly quite embarrassing when driving and not what I expected at all from a main dealer.

I took the car back three separate times to have this looked at. On the last visit, the manager said he would investigate and get back to me, but months later, I’ve still heard nothing.

At the time, there were delays with genuine parts, and I was offered non-genuine ones at a £300 saving. I only agreed because the brakes needed doing urgently, not to cut costs. In hindsight, that seems to have been a mistake, as the issue has been ongoing ever since.

We’re now in March, and the problem still hasn’t been resolved. I chose Land Rover over places like Halfords because I expected a higher level of quality and service, but sadly that hasn’t been the case.

Overall, very poor communication and a disappointing experience. It’s definitely put me off using them again.

Took my discovery sport for a service…

Took my discovery sport for a service with Williams, and as the A/C was not working, asked them to check it. The A/C check was over £230 alone and they don’t even check to see if it needs a refill. Instead they told me there was nothing wrong with the A\C. But wouldn’t you know it, not two days after the ‘service’ the A/C is leaking all over the drive. Won’t be taking it to Williams again as they don’t seem to know what they are doing. Not to even mention the 45 minute wait just to collect the car. Steer well clear, I won’t be buying another landrover as frankly a premium car, with premium service charges really ought to be better than this.

Have never left a review before but…

Have never left a review before but felt I needed to leave a review on my experience with William select Manchester I recently bought a Bentley Bentayga and dealt with Andrew and enjoyed a good old-fashioned deal as car dealing should be and felt that they went the extra mile to do business and when little problems arose after the purchase it was dealt with in a gentlemanly manner I would highly recommend Dealing with them

Excellent experience

Just bought a Tiguan r line through Williams and delt with Andy, he was absolutely brilliant and very helpful. I was travelling all the way down from Orkney (very north of Scotland) and it couldn’t have been easier. I got sent a video of the car and any scratches on the alloys or bumper was all taken care of and a years mot put on and made sure there was no advisories. Also went for the extended 3 year warranty and it was no extra hassle. Very good company will happily buy another vehicle from them. Even a phone call two days later once we were home asking how we got on with our drive back north!

Same fault with the car been back x3 times, cars in the workshop again apparently waiting for back order parts to fix the car.

After it comes back selling it and never buying a RangeRover terrible customer service they do not know how to handle complaints or customer’s.

All the staff at the Trafford Park Williams unprofessional, untrained.

Unhelpful service department

Coolant is low in vehicle. Called Williams in Manchester and they won't give the colour coolant needed saying that I need to bring the vehicle in as you have to buy it through them. The most helpful they could be is to say "it's the one that was in there when it left us".
Quite happy to buy it through them for convenience (despite the questionable ethics of this), but why inconvenience your customer by dragging them out of work just to top up some coolant. Just tell me which one I need.
Also don't answer the phone.

I bought my vogue from Range Rover 2022…

I bought my vogue from Range Rover 2022 waited for 7 months patiently for the car to be delivered from Williams jaguar Landrover Manchester… I took it for security update and service sometime in august 2024 and after the service and update I took the car away and immediately I noticed that the front passenger seat was not working anymore and immediately called them to book it in and was informed that it was because of the security update that it happened and when I took the car there the seat was working perfectly on getting there they now called back to say that’s not the case now that an air fresher feel on the machinery and that’s not included in the warranty that I need to pay about 3k to get it fixed till my car is still stuck there in Manchester, I have never seen such an
Incompetent car company of this sort and I hope they can do better in the future and be more honest with customers absolutely gutted and I promise to take this to the highest length to get justice !!!

MAIN DEALER MY ASS-SAVE YOUR SELF HASSEL AND INCONVENIENCE

After nearly two months I managed to get my Landrover to have the security update carried out. After a day and half and poor service and lack of information I received my car back supposedly to had been washed only half way down the motorway the bonnet had come away from its latch nearly blown off onto the carriage way. Tried to close the bonnet without any joy. Curled back to the workshop no one available but the concierge who kept slamming the bonnet trying to close it. After a while I had to call a local mechanic I knew who told me what Williams Landrover had done and fixed the fault forme over the phone.
You pay peanuts you get .......?

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!
I bought a car from this company on May 25th 2024. I drove it for all 10 minutes until the dash lit up like a Christmas tree. They asked me to leave the car with them to get it fixed and they would deliver it to my address once fixed. I called and emailed every day for them to tell me the parts are “coming tomorrow”. After a week of getting pushed from pillar to post trying to get hold of them, they told me that the car part hasn’t actually been delivered and they “wouldn’t blame me” if I wanted a refund. I sent many emails (8) demanding a refund to be told they can’t do much without the boss (who is never there) I had to contact trading standards in the end for the company to eventually email me back confirming the refund will be processed. Absolute disgrace.
