So much choice great value for money

I love this shop so much choice I buy a lot from here and click and collect is so easy I can nip in on my way home from work and pick my item up no fuss the staff are always helpful its my favourite shop and I can take my dog in now so I can try harnesses on him so I know they fit before I buy im a happy bunny

Do not buy from this company

Do not buy from this company. I purchased 8 bags of Warma chicken run wood chips on the 21st April and only received 2 bags of my order on the promised delivery date of 23rd April . I raised an issue with them immediately and asked them to fulfil the rest of my order. Heard absolutely nothing from them then received a further 2 bags a few days later. I wrote again and didn’t hear anything for another few days. I was told my issue would be passed on to the relevant department. Another few days passed and still no reply so I chased again. I was then told that the relevant department was experiencing delays and that I should be patient waiting for them to reply. I have left it 10 days and received an email today saying that they are closing my complaint as I haven’t replied. Replied to what? They are supposed to be coming back to me. Moral of the story is don’t be patient. I have now submitted a claim for a refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 for non fulfilment of their contract within a timely manner. I will not be buying from this retailer again as it is not worth the time and hassle it has caused me. Their customer service is dreadful.

I am extremely disappointed with the…

I am extremely disappointed with the service and quality of products from Wilko. Over a month ago, I ordered metal roofing sheets. When they arrived, they were defective – they had holes drilled in places where there shouldn’t be any. Since it’s roofing material, it's completely useless.

​My wife has contacted customer service via email 4 times. Every time we get the same empty promises that they are "looking into it," but absolutely nothing happens. We still don't have our money back.

​To make matters worse, we were told we could return the items at The Range. We wasted our time and petrol driving there, only to be told they couldn't find our order in their system and refused the return. It has been over a month, and we are left with faulty goods and no refund. This is unacceptable. Save yourself the stress and shop elsewhere.

Absolutely terrible customer service experience at The Range/Wilko in Meadowhall Retail Park on 8th May 2026.

I visited the store with my wife, my 3-year-old daughter, and my 4-month-old baby to purchase some garden items, including Forest Garden decorative border edging. Around 3:40 PM, while still in the shop, I placed an online Click & Collect order for 20 decorative edging pieces. I received an email saying I could collect the order around 4:45 PM and that I would receive another email once the order was ready.

Unfortunately, my phone battery died shortly afterwards, but thankfully I had written down the order number on paper. Since I was already in the store with my family, I decided to wait there instead of going home and coming back again.

At around 4:55 PM, after standing in a very long queue at customer service, I asked the staff member to check my order status using my order number. The poor lady at the desk was clearly struggling alone and repeatedly called for help from her colleagues over the microphone to reduce the queue, but nobody came to help her. Despite this, she checked and told me my order was “not ready yet.” I explained my phone had switched off and that I would wait longer and check again later.

I waited again outside in my car with my family and came back around 5:20 PM. Once again, I was told the order was not ready, so I finally gave up and drove home.

After reaching home around 5:30 PM, I charged my phone and checked my emails — only to discover I had actually received an email at 4:55 PM confirming my order WAS READY FOR COLLECTION. I was shocked and extremely frustrated because this was exactly the same time the staff told me it was not ready.

Because I urgently needed the items, I had to drive all the way back again after 6:10 PM, wasting more petrol and time during an already difficult inflation period. Yet again, there was a huge queue at customer service, and once again the same staff member was desperately calling colleagues for help with no response.

This time, after showing my QR code, I was told my order was ready but located at the back warehouse near Centertainment. I was instructed to go there and press a button so someone could open the security gate. When I got there and pressed the button, nobody answered. I had to walk all the way back to the main store AGAIN to tell them no one was responding. Only then did they arrange for someone to come.

Honestly, what a shameful customer service experience. The staff communication was completely disorganised, customers were left waiting endlessly, and my family — including two small children — had to sit around for hours because of the store’s poor management and misinformation.

They completely wasted my time, my petrol, and ruined our evening. Very disappointing experience.

Product itself is great and for good…

Product itself is great and for good price.
Click and collect service not so good.
I clicked 'eccleshill' store for my click and collect order. But when i looked at my email with the order info it said "Bradford store". So i click for opening times and details and the only bradford store that shows info is one on Thornton road half an hour drive away from me!! I went all the way there to get it and they didn't have it. (I tried to call both stores first and no one picked up).
Turns out it was at the eccleshill one after all. Really frustrating that no one picked up the phone for me to confirm where my order was but also--WHY doesnt the email receipt give the address of the store you have ordered from????

To confuse matters I didnt know that wilko has merged with the Range. Why use the wilko name and logo when clearly the store is now called Tne Range. Omg its too confusing.

If I could give this retailer zilch or…

If I could give this retailer zilch or a negative would be more appropriate!
Avoid at all costs.

Ordered an electric car for my sons birthday it arrived we put it together ready for him to open. Only to find the remote for the item does not work. So it's faulty I want a refund!

We went over 5 miles to a factory store who said can't take it back. Well update your returns page as it says you can so this is miss selling big style.

So we come all the way back home I complete online form and get told can't respond to me despite the email being the one I placed the order with and the same name in the card used to purchase the item. So GDPR wilko was met. Retrain the staff! And respond.

If you dont collect this item and issue a refund in the next week, im reporting you to trading atandards.

A good name once on the high street bought out and, certainly not a patch on the old for customer service never again!

What an absolute shambles of a company

What an absolute shambles of a company. I’d have liked to have given a 0 star review!

In a nutshell, purchased a product on a click and collect basis, the store was a 18 mile round trip.

Opened the box to find missing items. Opened a case on Wilkos website via email as well as WhatsApp, when they did eventually come back to me they provided 2 options, said the 3rd was unviable

1: £26 refund, the replacement items would be at least £40 to replace
2: take the item back to store, meaning spending more money on fuel for a fault that’s not mine.
3: doorstep swap, but they stated they didn’t have any further products for sale online, when I checked whilst they were messaging it stated that there were 20+ items (that was earlier today) and it still says the same are for sale now!

Feels like Wilkos are not interested in sorting out consumer problems once they take payments. If I don’t hear back from them by close of play with a suitable resolve then I shall be raising case with my credit card company. I say that as all my WhatsApp and email messages are being ignored now

Don't order fragile items for delivery !!

My Mum ordered two glass bedside lamps from their store via Amazon. On arrival one of the lamps was completely smashed and the box had no "Fragile" marking on it at all, so obviously the couriers had thrown it about a bit. Support was no help what so ever after many emails over a few weeks, they just kept telling me that my email address didn't match the email from the original order. They didn't even help after giving them all the correct details and the order number. Utterly useless and I won't be ordering anything from them again. Would strongly advise against anyone ordering any fragile items. They are just not interested in helping once the products are sold.

A weaker solution

having purchased this product in the past and have been very happy with it, I ordered 11 x 2.5 litres containers of green concentrate patio cleaner, sadly only 3 were received/delivered (Royal Mail strikes again!) - received a refund but that's hardly the point, given the hassle. But more depressing, was the discovery, upon reading the label of the new supply and comparing it against that of my last purchase of this product, I was extremely disappointed to discover that they have reduced the concentrate by over 50% (so down from 10% w/w to 4.9% w/w) - so a bit of a con to my mind as this is NOT mentioned in the product details online, so you now have to use/purchase twice the amount to achieve the same results (despite what it says on the label as to up to 85m2 coverage) - shame on you Wilco.
