I have recently developed an interest in shaving with a Safety Razor and have investigated the performance of many types of razors. The "Line of Kings" razor was in my opinion a very attractive razor with a beautiful handle, made from high quality steel and also provided a very close shave. Wilde & Harte products are exceptional as is the customer service provided by Paul. Their products provide the combination of superior physical appeal and superb functionality. I’m the happy owner of an Eltham safety razor and brush set, as well as an Apsley Safety Razor and Rosewood shaving brush purchased from Wilde and Harte. I own a large collection of vintage and modern double edge (DE) safety razors which I have been using for nearly 10 years.
Both the razors are quite heavy relative to the other safety razors that I own. While this takes some getting used to it does assist the shaving process. The head totally encloses the razor blade reducing the chances of any nicks or cuts. I have used a range of shaving soaps, creams and different razor blades with the razors. On each occasion I experienced a close, yet mild shave with no razor rash. The razors are very well made and quite striking. The same goes for the shaving brushes which use very good quality badger hair and produce a high quality lather.
I use both the razors alternately in my regular shaving rotation.
Finally, Paul provides a very good level of customer service.
Highly recommended.

These are high quality shaving products that promulgate British workmanship at its finest; the workmanship is only surpassed by Mr. Paul Thompson's customer service and helpful advice, which should make Wilde and Harte proud of his company encouragement. He is a true gentleman selling true gentleman products. I purchased one fusion razor handle and one safety razor handle a few years ago. The shaving experience was so enjoyable with these products, I recently purchased four (4) additional handles, both fusion razor handles and safety razor handles. The handles are perfectly weighted making the shaving experience a source of enjoyment rather than an expectation. With the proper care, these products will last a lifetime. I enjoy changing which handle I use to shave, in addition to using a straight razor periodically. My bathroom counter is an advertisement for Wilde and Harte products for both family and friends alike. The cost is more than worth it......

I bought Osterley collection, badger hair shaving brush head and razor honing (sharpening) pad. Shave quality is excellent. Overall, it is Top Notch products. The service was exceptional, thanks to Paul.

The razor comes packed in a luxuriously and enhances the overall purchasing experience. The razor itself is a work of art - I spend more time admiring the piece than I do shaving with it. That being said the overall shave quality of the razor is fantastic. Close, comfortable shave perfect for daily shavers like myself. The razor perfectly fits the definition of an heirloom piece to hand down to generations with the exceptional quality and craftsmanship.

A masterpiece in design and quality that last a lifetime. I ordered the shaving set of Osterley safety razor design with smooth bar which upon use i realized that closed comb head is the one for me so I ordered one. Mr. Paul was helpful and provided an amazing customer experience. The handled balanced in weight perfectly and the elegant design has its own charm.

I received an APSLEY FUSION RAZOR for Christmas from my wife. I am used to using quality razors as it’s something I treat myself to. However, the Wilde & Harte handle is something else! It just oozes quality and sophistication. The craftsmanship and weight of the handle just feel amazing. It’s fantastic to start the day with a feeling of decadence. I can very highly recommend Wilde & Harte’s beautiful razors.

The more I use my Apsley Fusion razor, the more happy I am with my choice! I didn't want to stop using Fusion blades (nothing equals them in my opinion), but a weighted handle makes such a difference. The Apsley handle lets me have both of my choices!
