After early disappointment
First great disappointment. Early July received a well packed parcel with plenty of worms but no wrigglers. After 6-7 weeks cultivation no worms. Presumed cooked during hot weather in the post. [I am told this has been corrected]
Waited until mid Sept for cooler weather when received second starter packet of well stocked worms ; this time wriggling. Set up to two containers kept at 19 C - one fed provided feed, second Ready Break Oats. After 16 days plenty of wriggling worms in special food fed container; at least three times as many as in oat cereal fed. So now feeding both with special food. Hope to start harvesting in a couple of weeks.
