I found out that my number was listed on this website by someone who stated that my number is scam. This is my personal number for more than 20 years. So basically anyone can just list someone else's number on this website without verification or proof. I will be taking legal action as they just add numbers without any verification or legal grounds or proper checks. Do not trust this website

Excellent for checking out unknown numbers/ callers that I do not answer calls to. I can then check their number out to know if they are likely to be legitimate or not in case they call back and I know if I can answer or block them.

Great service, especially in today’s world of so many scam attempts. I highly recommend using who-called.co.uk to research unfamiliar numbers.

I do not think I ever answered a call from a stranger! I always check the number on who called me and then decide whether to call back or not. It saved me a lot of time. absolutely amazing tool

I suddenly can't use this service anymore. I get an error message 1005 saying my IP address has been blocked as they seem to falsely think I'm calling from outside the UK. Err, No! I am currently not abroad and have never tried to use this service from outside the UK.
Update. Since I wrote this review back in February, I have been able to successfully use your site.
Star rating updated as the issue resolved and I have no longer had any issues with accessing this site to find out the info I needed.

They don’t do anything. Been called a lot. Y company called Utility who have a couple of numbers. What’s the point of reporting when.nothing gets done.Of course the government should do more. Shame on these fraudsters. Uses a couple of numbers also then don’t say anything. Crazy.
I can't get passed there human verification I have tried several times. Even emailed them,, no response.
SCAM!!
Paid 50p to check a number and they signed me up to a £48.90 monthly subscription without telling me. DO NOT USE

False claim that IP address is not in the UK. Asked to install the app which doesnt change the IP address
absolutely horrendous got scammed out of £48.50 fuming.
I tried to check a number and ended up with malware on my PC . Took ages to sort out.
Refused to accept the message on the false claim that I am outside the UK. They use a vetting company who made the claim; the vetting company refuses to receive messages on the grounds that their stated email address does not exist,
Website doesn't work. It blocked my IP for no reason after I was only on the site for a few minutes. I came on the site to check the legitimacy of the company after my friend was complaining about the app charging extra money for nothing from these guys. The company claims to be in the UK but it's actually based in Lodz, Poland. Why would they lie about their location? I don't trust them and neither should you.
I left a positive review against a number and they marked it as spam! Seem determined to be negative. Do not trust them
877-410-8827* Just don't give out personal infor, especially if they sound like they're calling from overseas and you can't hear or understand them. They might pose as a State agency claiming to be verifying applications, etc. If these people really are not CalFresh they are excellent at what they do. You're within your rights to hang up. thiis nan ruined our day, we spent almost an hour on the phone with an East Indian fellow possibly mid aged who became combative and was not legitimate. There is a huge silence on the other end of the line, you always wonder if they're still there. There is SNAP and benefits fraud so don't think it won't happen to you, and if this number calls you don't take their word they are who they claim to be. If you hang up they will continue to call back. Times are tough but you may need to disband dependency on benefitscal.
Just went to check a phone number that I have done 100s of times before with no problem, suddenly my IP address is banned, like many others apparently. I don't even leave comments on the numbers. So 🖕🏼yours WHO CALLED ME.
Paid 0.50p for one check. Was never advised of a subscription sign up and no emails to confirm initial purchase or a subscription. No T&Cs on the website. Was charged £49.90 the day after my 0.50p purchase!!! Absolute SCAM!! I’ve done a chargeback through my bank.
