Movers handled my stuff extremely effeciently.
I had an excellent experience with Bright Side Moving Group. The quote was competitive but service was even better, it exceeded my expectations.
Movers were very pleasant and excellent.
Crew have done an absolutely brilliant job. They were superb on the day and and I couldn't have asked for a better or easier job.
TERRIBLE - Moving Company they used was terrible & overcharged
I had a terrible experience with the moving company that Birhgtside Moving Group decided to assign my move to. The driver of the drop off may not have been licensed properly (pending DOT review) and the driver was in charge of finding a crew to move my furnature in my home and he hired a bunch of people off of craigslist that were not good at what they did and I am so dissapointed for the cost of what a moving service costs. The driver was also so unfriendly and rude. He almost refused to put together furtnature together for us if there are no directions on how to put together. The whole service includes taking aapart and putting together furnature.
I also believe that the moving company over listed the amount of cubic feet as I was quoted once price by Brightside after going through our entire home and lising everything at 1525 cubic feet and then when the movers came they thought it would be a little over but then they charged for 2400 cubic feet. when the truck got to new home for delivery I looked in the truck and the markers on the ceiling showed 1750 and the driver told me that was cubic feet markers.
When I brought this up to the owner of the moving company, he said the driver was wrong.
Brightside said that they had been working with Express Movers Services before and that they are good partners and would not help me any further. I am just so dissapointed in the level of service I got for a move that cost so much and that neither company will look into the issues that I am had or try to find a solution.
Of course the move happened on a Sunday and delivery was on a Sunday so Brightside did not have anyone answering the phones to help me with my issues and questions.
Great TEAM to work with.
We are very grateful for the team for helping with the move from Nashville to Oxford. They worked with us, sometimes daily, and weekly to ensure we had the inventory in place, pricing and contracts in order and then the actual move. I felt like friends with the team after working with them the last couple of months. I would highly recommend the team. Just be honest with them up front and they will be honest with you in the end. Thanks to the entire TEAM.
Flexible!
I was very pleased with this service. As it was very efficient and helpful. My personal belongs where pack in no more than an hour.
This company is absolutely garbage!!!!
This company is absolutely garbage!!!!! All they want is your deposit, then the next guy will call to confirm, and wouldn't you know mitch who by the way says he will be your contact if you need anything, didn't put half your stuff on the so then they double it, oh and you can't blackout because there's no refunds. Then when the guy actually shows up(2 days late)you can't get ahold of either one of them. Now the poor guy doing all the work tells you they didn't figure the square footage right and it will be a extra thousand, and calling won't do you any good, they'll just claim it was an estimate. This company is garbage, nothing but lieying little worms. DO NOT USE THEM!!!!!!! You will regret it.

Bright Side gave a quote that ended up…
Bright Side gave a quote that ended up being double. They used Master moving Inc who unrecognizably damaged 2 bookshelves, broke the leg off the piano, and boxes were crushed. Move in was May, now 6 months later, after paying double the quote, they paid half the insurance for the broken piano leg. This entire outfit is a complete scam. Think twice.
Literally a life saver.
Turned up early and were very thorough, packing everything safely and securely. They had to do a bit.
Do not use this company
Do not use this company! They have outside carriers who come to get your stuff and charge you double the amount you were quoted! I repeat, do not use this company! They told me all I needed was my mattress in plastic. I then turn around and get charged for the box springs not being in plastic. I was told I wasn’t gonna get charged to come to the second floor, but I did. This company is very shady. They play all nice until they get our stuff and then it’s a different story!
ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE COMPANY
I was given a quote of $4700 and ended up paying almost $4000 more than that. They get you in with a low quote and then add on more and more throughout the process. I've moved many times both domestically as well as internationally and have NEVER experienced anything like them. Then when I filed with the BBB, Brightside stated I had the wrong company. Steer clear of these BAIT AND SWITCH people! HORRIBLE
Everything went wrong for of all I was…
Everything went wrong for of all I was told that the price of the move came up to 1800.00 nope I paid triple the amount I was quoted. Then when speaking with them over the phone they were nice at first but once you send that first deposit they treat you like crap. The movers didn't speak English well it was a set up all along. I will never use this company ever and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. They were horrible and they promised my stuff would be delivered with 48 hours I spent so much money with this company
And the movers never use them again as well. I was so upset next time I will research all of the companies first. Arena vans never use them as well they pay games.
It would help if the truck would…Show up!!!
It would help if the truck would actually show up. Paid movers to stand in my driveway doing nothing. Finally got ahold of them (I had the coordinator's personal number) after 1 1/2 hours. Had to find a different #. Customer service said we'll get a truck re-routed. I said it's too late. Cancel my contract. Which he did. No sorry. No offer to replace lost money for movers and still haven't heard from the person I spent 45 minutes on the phone setting the deal up.
DO NOT USE THEM!
DO NOT USE THEM!
I wish I could give them a Zero. I was nervous because I read a few bad reviews about them, I should have listened to them.
This was a nightmare. Brightside contracted with Master Movers who charged me an extra $2100.00 to move the additional items. They would not move me without paying them and Brightside was not there to help. Over $4000 to move a small 1 bedroom apartment. This was beyond what I could afford but had no choice since I needed to relocate within a few weeks.
I expected all my items to be delivered just as I sent them. I specifically showed them an antique table and glass, stressing the value of it. They lost the glass.
My items were treated terribly. They threw a heavy bag of tools on top of my vacuum cleaner which broke the plastic housing. My large area rug was delivered folded in half which broke the backing and it it not usable.
I now have an antique table which I cannot replace. I need to buy a new Hoover vacuum and buy a large area rug. And I am out over $4K
Started at around $3900 then the day…
Started at around $3900 then the day they show up it goes to $6000 and they want $4000!up front! Took about 10 days to get to Florida from Pa. Supposed to reassemble what they took apart... never happened... different truck different people.. missing box of chargers for mower etc..missing screws for 2 tables...want to be reimbursed but no one responds. Do not use these people!
Your initial estimate is probably way lower that what you will end up paying
A very low estimate was provided months in advance and everything was scheduled, then two days before the price doubled. By the time the movers picked up my belongings, it was triple to original estimate. If I had gotten an accurate estimate, I would have gone elsewhere. I had no other option 2 days before my move when the price jumped from $3,600 to over $10,000 and was forced to drain my savings.
Really good pricing!
I was so impressed. They did not disappoint! They were there to help me through this transition.
These guys were phenomenal!
Hands down this was the smoothest move ever. They did not waste any time, they were cautious so all of my furniture.
Brightside Moving Group
Brightside Moving Group – Communication was great until business was obtained. Upcharge after upcharge, call after call, waiting and waiting, broke and broken. Clearly haven't vetted who the movers actually are. Unregulated ethics that includes theft by deception and misuse of terminology. Judging by the continuous, similar justifications provided by this company, they have no intention of changing their practice. Time is spent sugar-coating internet reviews / search results rather than customer care. MAP was contracted by Brightside Moving Group which I was completely unaware of until they arrived at my home. Pickup was scheduled for Wednesday, August 14th with Thursday, August 15th being the backup day. On August 14th, I had not heard anything so called Brightside and was told move date was the 15th now. When the gentlemen arrived, I had everything packed (exactly as instructed). MAP began inventory and requested a signature on Household Goods Descriptive Inventory, Onsite New Binding Estimate, Packing Material Charges & Order Form, General Agreement, Press Board & Particle Furniture Notice and Long-Distance Department papers (move from Nebraska to Florida). Straight out of the gate, up-charged for the 3rd time; stating I had a folding table (which I do not) bench (which I admit forgot to add), table legs (which were part of my coffee table but apparently since it was taken apart it is a separate item now and a board game (which I kept out of a box because it had a handle). I was also charged another $144 in tape as a “material”. I had meticulously packed, wrapped, shrink wrapped and taped everything but it “wasn’t enough”. I was asked for payment immediately via Zelle or cash which included the upcharges and Brightside ½ upon pickup and ½ upon delivery. Zelle was provided to Arrow Services Incorporated… yet ANOTHER hand in the cookie jar. I was then asked for first available date for delivery and August 18th was provided. **I want to note right here, Brightside said that this is a common route and 3-7 days is to be expected. The gentlemen said if I was to provide any date beyond the 18th, they would charge me more… At this point, you are stuck, packed, money out the window and paperwork signed (that you had NO TIME to read). Moving commenced and took about an hour. THE WAITING GAME… Between August 18th and September 11th, almost an entire month, I called Brightside Moving Group and MAP COUNTLESS times. I received ZERO call backs despite being promised and told it would happen. I was PROMISED 24 hours notice. I am at work and I get a call that they will be to my home in 3-4 hours on September 11th! Late by about an hour but don’t care, I just want my things. Payment is expected immediately. Again, don’t care, just want my things. Here come the boxes… the brand new, neatly packed boxes, crunched, smashed, ripped and (some) opened. The unpacking begins. The only boxes that did not have things broken were those that did not contain fragile items! I’m talking shattered plates, glasses, kitchenware, pictures, bathroom medicines exploded, spices spilling out, broken coat rack, broke oak computer desk, bent bed frame, bent entertainment stand brackets, broke computer screen, gash in speaker system, etc.; not to mention the GASHES in my walls from moving it in! Mind you, this was all PACKED and protected. It took me nearly 2 weeks to unpack as the amount of cleaning and throwing away was additional, tedious work. Oh yes and receive “bonus” of someone else’s things! So, you go back to your paperwork only to find out, on the General Agreement, they are not responsible for any damage caused from moving in and out, during the moving, damage to walls, floors, driveways, landscaping AND, the kicker, ITEMS NOT PACKED BY THE COMPANY. You are REQUIRED to have all items packed PRIOR to arrival. In summary, spent triple the amount of money, time unpacking, time waiting, time stressing, time calling, time reading then I EVER expected. HEED THIS WARNING! AVOID MAP MOVING & STORAGE, ARROW SERVICES US INC & BRIGHTSIDE MOVING GROUP
I recommend to everyone.
Showed up right on time and worked every second. They carried some very heavy furniture down without a single complaint.
Pathetic service
Pathetic service. They will extort money from every possible way. For example, if you need to add a couple of boxes, they will ask you to pay $250 to “access” the file and then make a “cheaper” offer of $50 for adding 7 boxes. The customer service doesn’t pay a heed to the conversation made with the point of contact who was responsible for contract signing. The representative named “Carl” (no idea if it’s the real name) directly said “I don’t regard anything about the conversation that took place earlier, we cannot deliver your item on the particular date, you can find a storage nearby and book a local movers who charge hourly to move your stuffs in your apartment but we will take the full amount”. The contract clearly states that they will disassemble and reassemble the furnitures but they don’t care.
Above all, Carl wants to make sure that we are grateful for the services as they are doing us a “favour” by delivering our stuffs.
