Very disappointed with the after care…

Very disappointed with the after care service, I was happy when the guys came and did my wheels until I realised that the paint wrinkled.

I didn’t see a problem as I sent across a few pictures, let them know it was no big deal and to come back to sort it when they got chance.

I sent a few texts and couldn’t get much of a response to set up the repair, I was told to email the office which i did and got quite a quick response to get them to come the upcoming Saturday.

The same guys came, they looked at the wheels and offered to get them powder coated for free and blamed the previous owners ….. saying they had used spray can paint (to note my car had 25k miles when I got it so the wheels where stock direct from bmw) they then said they would need my wheels for 3 days (likely a ploy to stretch to us out and never actually follow through)

Anyway I was away Tuesday Wednesday this week so I arranged for them to be picked up on Monday…… Monday comes I haven’t had a time so I text and get no response, still no response at 5 or the next day ……3 emails, 3 texts and 3 calls …. Still no response I guess I should’ve taken note of the reviews prior to getting this done.

Shame because all I wanted was for the original job to be corrected, did not want new spray job just correct the mistakes made.

Awful customer service

Very bad experience with the boys .

Very bad experience with the boys .. previously asked for a 2 colours wheels they agreed and said that the weels needs to be powder coated which wasn’t a problem for me we had a deal that changed next day where they said that they couldn’t do it so I said “ok no problem “ they did the powder on the one colour that i picked “very poor quality “ and they delivered the wheels unfinished and without the tyre pressure sensors on , they swapped it with some rubber valves.. I couldn’t check the wheels on arrival because they decided for some reason to come earlier than the time we decided to meet so I wasn’t at home . Anyway after texting i got ignored by Umar so I texted on WhatsApp where someone did answer and told me that they will come and sort the wheels .. so I booked an appointment again took a day off from work and waited for them not to show up and not to answer my texts so yeah if you’re looking to get your wheels properly done , find someone professional even if it is a little expensive it does worth it instead of buying sh..t again and find someone to sort they’re mistakes

Wheels are as good as new!

Originally had my wheels smart repaired by the team but after a couple weeks I noticed the paint flaking away on the outer rims. Had a few messages back and forth with the admin team but then Umar personally came and collected my wheels at 10pm and returned them the following evening after covering the cost of getting the wheels powder coated. They look amazing and I really appreciate the urgency Umar applied with rectifying the issue. Couldn’t recommend enough

Efficient

The chaps arrived within my allocated time . One of them examined the area requiring repair and agreed the best way forward. They worked together with one doing the work and the other one providing the various tools/equipment required. All in all, took no more than 30-40 mins. I was told of the precautions I needed to take for a few days and if there were any issues I was to contact them. Very happy with end result. Many thanks chaps.

AVOID!

21/3/25 Update: Full refund and compensation received. Many thanks.

What an absolute joke of a company and service! Had 1 alloy repaired. Messaged back to say it was the wrong colour. Told they'd revisit Monday. No one turned up. Messaged again to say it was out if order as we'd all made arrangements to accomodate. Told they'd be round Sunday at 1000. Again, no one turned up! No response to my messages or calls. I see now I'm blocked on Whats App. Appalling service. AVOID THIS COMPANY!

Don't waste your time

My advice, don't waste your time and go elsewhere.

I contacted wheels2u over 6 weeks ago to get my diamond cut alloy repaired and I'm still waiting now to get this resolved.

On the first visit the repair was not completed correctly and the metal was exposed which has left permanent marks on the alloy. The repaired area is distinctly visible and hasn't been blended.

It took a week of me chasing to get a response and speaking to the owner Umar he advised they could come back out and get the alloy resprayed.

On the second visit Umar sent a member of the team out who apologised and advised they'd forgotten to use a scotch pad on the first visit. He advised he himself wouldn't be able to respray due to the design of the alloy, despite Umar telling me it would be sorted.

Another week of chasing Umar and he agrees they will collect the alloy and get it diamond cut free of charge and return once complete. Great, so I thought.

The day comes to collect the alloy and nobody arrives. I chase up again and was advised due to personal reasons he wouldn't be able to collect and apologised for not letting me know. Not a problem, I gave the benefit of the doubt. Agreed to have it booked in again to collect a week later, advised it was "in the diary".

The day arrives and low and behold no one arrives. I've taken time off work, no contact to let me know, no answer when calling or emailing and no response since. I've asked for a full refund but yet to receive a response.

At this stage I'm beyond frustrated by the lack of customer service and poor workmanship. 6 weeks to rectify a straightforward curbed alloy is beyond a joke.

For the time, effort and hassle I would recommend using a different company

Left my alloys in a worse state than before they touched them!

If I could give 0, I would.

I had someone come out to me last week who left my alloys in a worse state than before he touched them.... Orange peel, matt patches (on my gloss black alloys), drips and marks on the alloys.

I contacted Wheels2u and they initially sounded as if they were willing to work with me and offered to come out again on Monday to rectify the problem. Monday came and went with nobody turning up and no communication to suggest that they would need to rearrange. I've since text twice to request and confirm my refund with no response and phoned twice with it ringing out both times (although they were quick to answer beforehand, which leaves me thinking this may be avoidance).

Wouldn't recommend at all and unfortunately it looks as if I'm going to have to take further action to get my refund as they don't seem willing to do the right thing.

While my wheels were being refurbished…

While my wheels were being refurbished Umar put some spare wheels on my car so I could still go to work for the “2 to 3 days max” it would take to get my wheels back. One of the spare wheels was wider than the wheel arch and damaged my car on my commute to work. 7 days of being ignored I finally get my wheels back with a promise of someone coming to fix my wheel arch. It’s been 2 weeks now with not so much as a text. Disappointing.

All ok until there was a problem…

All ok until there was a problem raised. At which time we received some extremely rude, inaccurate and disrespectful communications all via email so I have copies. I would strongly urge anyone using this company to take very very fully detailed before and after pics having had one repair completed and being left with unaccounted for damage on my brand new vehicle!
We tried to resolve respectfully but Wheels2u customer service/after sales is sadly very lacking!

With respect: you were so happy with our repair to your Fiat that she booked us to do another repair on your caravan. This was completed, your partner inspected the repair before our technician was paid & he left. (Another chip was found on the Fiat wheel he’d repaired the week before & our technician did a quick, smart-repair for free before he left.) Later that day your partner sent an email accusing our technician of damaging the Fiat wheel & requesting a refund so obviously the technician was offended after he’d given a free repair. (We do not use call centre service people - our customers tell me that they prefer to deal directly with us.) I have called several times to discuss but been told by SMS that you are not available until next week. We are proud of our workmanship regardless of whether it’s a Maserati, Mercedes or a Mini but you were offended by his quick email reply so I have issued a full refund.
