Excellent driver : arrived on time : great communication. Would highly recommend (Driver Mohammed)
We have just bought our second vehicle from this company. We cannot recommend them highly enough. They spent so much time making sure all our needs were met. We have also recommended them to our Sons care home and they have bought two vehicles from them. There’s no pressure to buy, the vehicles are immaculate, staff are so patient and helpful.
I purchased a vehicle from this company towards the end of 2022 under warranty of 6 months. In that time no fewer than six problems arose with the electrics and the construction of the vehicle. Wheelchair Cars sorted the electrical problems up to a point but the problem with the side doors scraping on the outside of the vehicle they refused to deal with. In the first instance they put me in contact with a mechanic nearby who frankly was not interested in solving the problem. I took the car
to a mechanic recommended to me by a company that run a fleet of vans. He said both the doors would need to come off and be realigned at a cost of nearly £1000. This Wheelchair Cars refused to pay. They also refused to buy back the car. Other problems which were never addressed : the lights on the car were very dim, the fuel gauge did not work, the radio was a dead loss, the windows kept getting stuck, the passenger door often would not open. Additional problems included the company's failure to return phone calls, prevarication and rather disingenuous claims they had rung but there was no reply. A very disappointing experience.
I would be happy tor ecommend this company for anyone looking for a Wheelchair accessible Vehicle. Great advice, truthful and helpful , that's all you ask for...
