UK buyer here. Competitive pricing. For me, also had no import tax or hidden fees on arrival. Long delivery as it ships from China, despite the "UK" suggesting URL. I see that others from the UK hav... See more

Quick delivery and great service
Quick delivery and great service. Plenty of updates through transit and I was able to get what I wanted at a reasonable price and quickly.
Excellent customer service
I ordered an alice80 kit from WHATGEEK August 25th. It got here (Indiana) September 3. Shipments do come from China, so this was a fantastic speed. Customer service was great. They updated me with tracking when I asked in perfect English. Unfortunately, I was shipped a wired only version of the alice80 and it is advertised as 2.4ghz/Bluetooth on the website. I brought this up to customer service, and they offered to send me a wireless version at no cost to me, keeping the old keyboard as well. I was blow away by the level of commitment to the customer. It is not a huge deal to me, and I already have my switches in and lubed and the keycaps I want, so I declined. They offered me a partial refund. I would definitely do business with WHATGEEK again. It is rare to find businesses who are on your side.
Great service
Great service, good selection to choose from and my order arrived quickly.

Brilliant hardware at an excellent price.
Tracking the order was a bit tricky but the whatgeek customer service gave me the correct tracking details after I contacted them, and my order arrived in just over a week with free shipping!
Avoid at all cost! scammers!!!
I ordered a gaming device from Whatgeek, which arrived on time but unfortunately turned out to be faulty. I contacted their customer service, but the resolution process dragged on for almost two weeks.
Eventually, they offered a refund — but only on the condition that they first receive and inspect the item themselves. I agreed, and they confirmed they would cover the return postage. However, they later stated that postage would only be refunded if they verified the fault, meaning I had to pay another £10 out of pocket.
After returning the item, I heard nothing but repeated excuses for over a month. In the end, I had to escalate the matter through my credit card provider to get any progress.
Very disappointing experience overall. I would strongly recommend avoiding this company.

Slow but good
Shipping took a while but the tracking was good once it finally started updating. Packaging could have been a little better, but overall I can't complain, I got what I ordered at a good price and it arrived.

Great price for the AULA keyboard and mouse combo but it took 15 days to be delivered, Ordered October 2nd and finally delivered 17th October as it came all the way from China. Tracking app for the delivery was a real struggle to use at times
Avoid This Company — My Order Never Arrived
I received an email from WhatGeek asking me to write a review, so here’s my honest opinion.
I ordered my item on 12th October, and today is 28th October — I still haven’t received it. I contacted WhatGeek last week, and they told me my item was in Mexico, even though I live in the UK. Then, after checking again, the customer advisor said my item had been delivered and even sent me a courier photo — but the address in the photo was not mine. When I pointed this out, they said my item was still on the way to my home and that I would receive it last week.
A week has passed, and I still haven’t received anything. The latest tracking update (from last Friday) shows the item is at a delivery depot, but there have been no further updates since then. I don’t feel comfortable with how this has been handled, so I emailed them yesterday requesting a refund. It’s been over 24 hours, and I still haven’t received a reply.
At this point, I honestly have no idea what this company is doing — I just want my money back.
Update- 1 Nov:
I ended up receiving the product on 30 October. The website stated that a return request must be made within 30 days of the original shipment date (not the date the item is received — funny!). I emailed them requesting a return and refund.
They replied saying they don’t have a warehouse in the UK, and that if I wanted to return the item, I would need to ship it to their warehouse in Shenzhen, China at my own cost — or accept £10 compensation instead.
I then quoted the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, stating that since they did not specify before purchase that returns must be sent to China, they are required to either provide a UK return address or cover the return shipping cost.
After that, they suddenly provided a return address in Liverpool and asked me to send them the shipping receipt, saying they would reimburse my postage. I packed the item and sent it via Royal Mail Tracked 48 yesterday.
@Whatgeek — my order number is WGUK_32005. I am now waiting for a prioritized full refund and an update within 2 hours, as you offered.

Great service and price
First purchase from What Geek. Anbernic RG35xx Pro. Great first experience. Delivery was a couple of days early and I was kept updated with accurate tracking from HK to UK. The device was competitively priced and came with both 64gb and 256gb as cards pre loaded with ROMs. So I was ready to start gaming straight out of the box. All in all I will be buying from What Geek again. Almost forgot to mention the free carry case. Nice little bonus.
Great products - Quite a few gremlins to iron out!
*First time order* - Brilliant product, quality & value! However, having worked in design, web, content creation, etc, for almost 30 years. The site, order process & communication, is nothing short of Jurassic! I pride myself on supporting Independent small business, but having paid expedited post (£18.99)! I don't expect to hear, apologies, due to my order, 'not being processed correctly', to chase my order progress, or for them to arrive 'Weeks' later, from China, via Bahrain, via East Yorkshire... Not the 3-5 working days, I had paid for! Frustrating not to be finishing on a positive. Divisive review, possibly 'would' order again, if Whatgeek reimburse my extortionate postage charge!? Pls + soz + thanks, I think.
Scammed me
Ordered a controller on the 6th of October 2025 nine days later (at time of writing) no update on my purchase or replies from the company despite multiple attempts made to contact them.
In the end I’ve had to go through PayPal to try and get my money back as they still didn’t reply to the original complaint made via PayPal so I’d simply just avoid this site and use a more reputable seller.

Miyoo mini plus - it's perfect
Item dispatched quickly, took a few days for the tracker to update, but it did update eventually and tracked parcels journey. Was not immediately clear due to UK tag in the website that it was coming from china, but not a huge problem unless you want the item quickly. Item arrived as described, works perfectly, good build quality, and I'm really happy with the product!
Second purchase from these guys
Second purchase from these guys, first time was an Anbernic 34xxsp, and this time a GPD Win Max 2 2025. Fast shipping, great price, and really good tracking. 10/10 will buy from them again.
Would buy again
Great price, exactly as described, long delivery but that was known, tracking was kept up to date. Would recommend if time isn't an issue
Scam
Scam, scam, scam. Avoid like the plague.
Bought a keyboard from its UK based website. Cancelled 2 hours later through email upon realising that this was a non-UK based shop.
My directive: "Please may the order be cancelled as soon as possible so the refund can take place in due course as well"
I was asked if I still wanted to keep the order before it was shipped (3 days after my initial request even with my clear directive above). It was sent without hearing back from me - and subsequently no attempt at intercepting DHL parcel (spoke to DHL Express - fantastic customer service who confirmed the item had not been shipped until the day after WhatGeek had said and no interception had been attempted even though it was still easily interceptable at that point).
Unethical business, a pitiful attempt at £10 compensation to ensure I keep the order. Avoid, avoid, avoid.
I will not be accepting item and look to initiate recourse with relevant authorities in the coming days

Amazing price on a gamepad that was selling on every other UK retailer for well over twice as much.
Shipping was from China but received full tracking every step of the way and it arrived in less than a week, in perfect condition boxed as a full uk retail item with all the expected accessories coupons etc.

Absolute scammers,
Posted out and inferior item at an inflated cost, ignoring any attempt at rectifying the situation.

Loving my RG557
I purchased a RG557. I used PayPal to pay to play it safe alive never used this site before and was in 2 minds.
Took about 6 days before it was actually dispatched, in that time I felt so anxious whether it was a scam or something gone wrong as I've seen a few have apparent issues... well 6 days later it was dispatched. I did pay extra for faster delivery to make myself feel at ease more... tracking was great, once in UK it was with DHL and I updated it to divert to a collection as I wouldn't be in and needed to be signed for... I collected it fine. Over took near 2 weeks to arrive, Came great, I love it. My only downside is the supplied games weren't good enough IMO but I am in the process of sorting that to my liking. Would recommend this site, no issues for me and good quality product... I have sadly scuffed top when it slipped out of my hands at work which is very sad 😔
Great site, great product.
Comes from China but no problems Whatgeek
I ordered the Anbernic RG35XxPro and I’ve had it for a week now, I’m really enjoying it. It took about 8 days to come but the tracking was good. It’s running well, I replaced the SD cards as a lot of people online suggested but I used it for a couple days with the stock cards with no issue.
It’s slightly smaller than I was expecting but still comfortable. Screen looks great. Buttons are a bit clicky but I’m sure they’ll break in. Very happy so far!
