Bad customer service
I contacted what credit based on their advertising that they can offer loans for people with unusual situations.
The request was for a motorhome loan.
They contacted me back on the 27th of March 2019 to ask me a few questions then said they would email me all necessary paperwork so I can prepare. I never received that email.
Then another person called me ask more info about my job. I have been a freelancer for 10 years making on average 27K per year and can prove that through my tax returns. But in January I launched my own company and am now self employed instead of freelance. The man said it isn't looking good but he'd try anyway.
Today is the 12th of April and I still havent heard back from whatcredit so I decided to give them a call. The man I spoke to who was not the worst person but also far from being pleasant or apologetic looked at my file and said that I was told I couldn't get the loan through them due to being self employed. I tried to explain that I was warned it wasn't good but never given a final decision. He barely apologized and tried to get rid of me.
They might offer good loans but it is a lot harder than they pretend AND their customer service is not adequate. I would NOT recommend them.
