Kitchen re-vamp
When i decided to update my kitchen I looked at a few companies, I chose Wharfedale Interiors after reading the reviews and visiting the showroom. The staff were very helpful and understanding of my needs towards my revamp. As i was wanting to keep the existing layout, I only needed a few new units, new doors, plinths, whole new drawer units and handles. after a visit from the owner to help plan out my kitchen, we came up with a design that suited not only my needs! but my budget. After a couple of delays due to covid causing issues, which to be fair was out of everyones hands, I now have a kitchen i love and have enjoyed using for a few months now.
Catalogue of errors and appalling communication
1 star only because 0 isn’t possible. We can’t relate to the 5 star reviews because our kitchen project which was started 16 months ago is still not completed to a satisfactory standard. Catalogue of errors, poor workmanship and appalling communication from start to finish. We had to fight for compensation for the non-existent project management. We have still not received the electrical safety certificates despite repeated requests and have been waiting over 2 months for defect rectification which we have had to chase again today. Extremely frustrating company to deal with and needless to say we weren’t invited to post a review.
Having noted the response from the Company below, this is factually incorrect. The defect rectification from the original fit was completed yesterday and, from what we observed, actually required no supplier input as the small filler required could have been obtained anywhere and the fitter painted it on arrival. This and the defect with the extractor fan which was sagging having not been fitted correctly should have been rectified months ago without us having any input. The only reason the defects were sorted yesterday was because we continuously chased Wharfedale to find out what was going on. I don’t know which colleague claims to have “advised” us on several occasions but this simply is not true. Also you are fully aware that the problems we have experienced are not entirely down to suppliers although you are quick to lay the blame at their door and shrug off the responsibility. You will recall that one of the many issues was that the gap left for the dishwasher (which took months to be delivered and spent 2 weeks in your workshop before being delivered to us) was only big enough for a slimline model. Consequently
all of the base units had to be moved long after the quartz worktop had been fitted and the correct dishwasher ordered causing further unacceptable delays. Design faults, order errors and fitters not being skilled in fitting appliances can not be attributed to suppliers. The catalogue of appalling management and communications continues and we would certainly advise others to look elsewhere for a kitchen supplier.

Happy customers !
We chose Wharfedale Interiors to design and install furniture for two bedrooms and we are delighted with the results. The service provided was friendly and professional, both by Rhys who worked with us on the designs, and Andy, the fitter. We were after something a little bit different, and the choice of finishes and high quality materials meant that we were able to achieve the look we wanted. We would have no hesitation in recommending Wharfedale Interiors to others.

Media unit
Rhys and team are top operators and have installed us a top quality media unit.
Both the design and installation process were seamless
Would certainly recommend and hope to have them back for more installations in the future
Endless mistakes & terrible communication
We commissioned Wharfedale to fit wardrobes and under eave storage in two rooms back in December 2020 with scheduled completion of February 2021 over two days of work. We paid 90% upfront as per their terms.
The install began in April. Incorrect parts were delivered and the wardrobes overall were not fitted to the quality standard expected. This led to a five week delay waiting for correct parts and resulted in a significant portion of the work being redone. On the second install visit only some of the required parts were delivered so no progress and another three week delay. We were expecting completion to be pushed back to early June. On this date we discovered the outstanding parts had not even been ordered and we had to flag this to them. After a further delay of three weeks the wardrobes were finally completed to a standard we were happy with.
Of course we understand dates can slip (e.g. due to COVID and supply issues) and mistakes can happen but we expect this to be offset with good communication. However, it is their appalling communication over the whole process that caused severe stress. At numerous times in the process several weeks would pass by and Wharfedale would not respond to emails, telephone calls or voicemails. On one occasion, only after proposing a credit card retail dispute did they respond.
We have had an additional four months of the house being upside down and two bedrooms out of action. As we paid 90% upfront we felt absolutely powerless to do anything about it. We asked for compensation, it was not offered, and they have given us a 10% discount.
As we write this we are still waiting for a response to an email sent over two weeks ago. Unfortunately we cannot recommend their services and urge caution with regards to paying 90% upfront.
Superb service
Superb service, professional staff and excellent eye for detail. I would highly recommend Wharfedale.

Do not use!
To start with the positives. The fitters did a great job and the fitted bedroom and dressing room furniture look good. At the end, we were given 10% discount to make up for some of our inconvenience.
However, getting there was horrendous. We were told the job would take 2 weeks but it took 3 months. Communication was very difficult. Calls went unanswered, messages couldn't be left as the voicemail box was full, messages which were left weren't returned.
Basic mistakes were made: a wardrobe was delivered which hadn't been constructed to fit our sloping ceiling, the wrong cupboard/drawer fronts were ordered, no end panel was ordered until the project was nearly finished causing even further delay. Towards the end, Rhys the company owner, tried to blame Covid but this does not explain incorrect ordering or no ordering.
We had to find our own plasterer as the one Wharfedale used was unavailable and their efforts to find another on Facebook, proved fruitless.
The whole experience was stressful and involved numerous visits which would have been extremely difficult to accommodate if we had been working.
We would not recommend this company.

Incredible Service!!
We engaged with Wharfedale and was greeted by a very friendly chap named Rhys, very well presented and spoken.
Rhys guided us through the options and carefully explained the process, no detail was missed for our custom wardrobes.
The quote and artists impression were sent a few days later, and we gave the go ahead.
As everything is bespoke we anticipated it would take time, but came in sooner than we thought.
The installer was called Paul (from memory) he came on time, was very friendly and approachable, and carried out the work to a high class standard, ensuring he left our room in a clean and tidy manor once he completed the build.
My wife and I are highly delighted with the end result and would have no hesitation recommending the team at Wharfedale to anyone requiring their services.
Keep up the great work guys, and many thanks!
Wharfedale Interiors - incredible bespoke furniture
We engaged Wharfedale Interiors to make bespoke furniture for our new office and it is beautiful. It looks and feels great and all our clients have asked us who made it. We are delighted with their craftsmanship, how clean and tidy they were, not to mention value for money.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Wharfedale Interiors as simply the best company for bespoke furniture, whether for office or home.
