The community is extremely friendly and supportive, staff is great, and the coaches are very knowledgeable and helpful.
i had a coaching session with grinder. he really made me view the adc role differently. really worthwhile 3 hours of my time. really nice guy 2.
Staff care and are super knowledgeable. They want to help you develop inside the game, and draw parallels to how similar mindsets and techniques can lead to success in other endeavors.

The format of the bootcamp is great. Reviewing 3 games as they are (and not cherry-picked for review) really exposed my shortcomings in areas I was not expecting. I had an awesome 3-block with Looca where he with great detail explained the concepts I needed to improve on. I appreciate his patience as he listened to and corrected many misconceptions and narratives I had. I feel excited to work through my learning objectives to become a better player!
I just finished my first bootcamp block with WTL and I'm feeling really good about my progress. I was reluctant about signing up for coaching as such a new/ low elo player (Iron) but I figured it would be worth it to identify bad habits before they become cemented and help have better control of my champ. The level of progress in my three games was impressive. I had a much better understanding of how my champion works, some of the fundamentals of my role, and how I can be more useful to my team. I felt much more confident in my gameplay and have clear ideas of reference points for future matches. My goal is to use these principles for the upcoming month and sign up for two blocks next boot camp. I'm sure I'll have improved a ton using the coaching I got today.
Before the boot camp I was uncertain what exactly I was missing to get back to where I was and you made it very clear with actionable topics to work on. Was also helpful discussing the different levels of play between GM and challenger players as well. I have about 5 big things to work on I wasn’t able to discover in my own reviews thanks 🫡
Who wouldn't want to have a challenger coach all to yourself for 3 hours at this price?
The WTL Team was very cooperative with my request for a specific coach and the experience was nice, really informative on gaps of my gameplay and not handpicking reviews helps with more authentic view of your gameplay, also the live coaching in the last game with some nudging helped me get more into the flow of picking where to go
A copy of the message I sent on discord to my coach and the other WTL bootcamp participants:
I wanted to share my experience getting 4 blocks with the same coach (Aledos). Absolutely amazing experience. 12 games of Galio 🗿
It was really nice to see what my consistent mistakes were, but we figured that out after 3 games (staying strong and available, playing man advantage with wincon). The real value of 4 blocks came from a) many small, disjointed learnings (qiyana specifics, component build order, burst combo, etc.) and b) *really* seeing how consistent my mistakes where, and being able to build on it game after game. We could go over smaller components of this bigger learning objective, and having 12 games gave an actual sample size of what a Galio journey looks like, hard games and all. I remember a specific game that was absolutely brutal, and I only made 1 major mistake that took the game from hard to near impossible, but because we already had 10 games at that point, we could really drill into it and it perfectly matched a common mistake of mine to technically play with my wincon, but in fights that weren't good for them. With a small amount of reviews, this might have looked like a hard game with 1 mistake, but because of the amount of reviews, it was a moment that really clicked for me because it was a perfect, isolated example of part of my learning objective.
We also invented a new conspiracy called "learners queue", where Riot purposefully puts you into the games where you will learn the most. Just had a review against an extended trade AD mid? Another one of those. Missed an opportunity to stay on wave and ult to fight? Perfect example at 8 minutes grub fight. Didn't have 1 clear wincon and needed multiple people to deal proper damage? Behind Ashe ADC. Riot is trying to make me a better player, I swear I'm not crazy
Also, just so much fun. Aledos was a joy to work with, and I feel we got some banter going after spending so much time together.
The 356$ I spent on the 4 blocks were:
-More fun than a weekend in Paris
-More educational than any content (the difference between knowledge and understanding)
-More motivating than any 2am YouTube video
I will be looking to snipe 4 blocks with the same coach if possible next bootcamp too, but until then, it's time to get into the details 🙏
The format was smooth and seamless, the resources and staff were available 24/7 for rapid assistance, and all very ready willing and able to help whenever needed. The community they’ve built is nothing but positive vibes and all that. Amazing experience would do it again for sure!
WTL really put in the time and effort to create the platform, the content in it and all the passionate coaches and mentors really make them worth it.
However, students will also need to put in time and effort too, in order to see improvement.
Helped me get consistent and get over my ranked anxiety a bit. Their community is the best part!
Revolutionary and unique perspective on mentality both inside and outside of game. Best League of Legends community in the world
Amazing experience from coach @Leo yesterday ! I had always been on the fence with getting coaching since I've managed to progress on my own to achieve some of my goals, but the difference in just a few hours was mind blowing. The specificity of the tips, the level of attention to details and the amount of information I wouldn't have been able to get from my own review provided by the coach just convinced me that it is not just an option to help you progress faster. It is the solution to the problems you didn't know you had. Quite simply, they put into lights the bad habits you don't see, force you to question yourself about your decision making and guide you to be the best you can with your own style. Thanks again to everyone involved :)!
Had my first ever bootcamp and first ever coaching session with Shok yesterday. Huge shout out to him as I genuinely enjoyed the session.
Was incredibly nervous due to me never having anyone review anything before. But this was a great experience and absolutely worth the time!
Stoked to implement the LOs I got out of the session and to come back for another review in the future!
One thing I would say though, is that I should have absolutely done a review or 2 in the MLA to at least have a better sense of what LO's I wanted to focus on. I had a general feel for where I was lacking, but no solid confirmation going into the boot camp.
I am a dyed in the wool fanatic of the WTL
I had a really tough 3 block with @Danman96. Danman did a great job of communicating the issues that he saw and illustrated well the improvements that I should focus on each game. all information given was information that was actionable and explained simply enough that I could understand it easily.
A follow on rough block, but @Praedyth did a great job helping me work through the coachable moments and kept me on track throughout. Really helpful. I'll definitely be using the information that I've gained from this boot camps to improve going forward. Thank you to both @Praedyth and @Danman96 for your time. I really appreciate ya'll. here's to the upcoming climb. I can't wait to use what ya'll taught me!
I signed up for a spot last minute and I’m really glad I did — no regrets at all. My coach for the block was @WillNA , and he immediately helped me identify a key area of my gameplay to focus on. I had the chance to apply that insight across all three games, with the first and third being intense 40+ minute bangers, giving me plenty of opportunities to practice what we discussed. I also got lucky with a great team in game two, which made the session even more enjoyable — and we ended up going 3-0!
For context, I’ve been part of several coaching platforms over the years, including Proguides, Skillcapped, Neace bootcamps, lol-Coaching, individual sessions, and the WTL Jungle Academy. After experiencing this bootcamp format, I can confidently say this structure is one of the best I’ve seen. The consistency of having the same coach review your games in real time adds a ton of value, and it really accelerates the learning process regardless of your rank.
As @Coach Curtis promised, this was genuinely some of the most fun I’ve had on my League of Legends learning journey. Highly recommend it to anyone serious about improving.
It is with real pleasure that I recommend WTL Bootcamp.
In the VOD’s review, I received essential theoretical notions. Then I practice new concepts in soloq. I also had the chance to ask many questions.
I am very impressed by coach cupcake coaching.
His knowledge of support role is exceptional.
The 3-hour coaching is extremely valuable.
Now I feel ready to take on new challenges.
I had a fantastic time with my 2 blocks of this boot camp, and I will definitely do the next one!
Shout out to my coach (for both blocks), Shernfire. He is extremely knowledgeable, and more importantly, is able to communicate that knowledge very effectively.
The information I am taking away from this boot camp is invaluable and has completely changed the way I view the game. I am sure this will lead to amazing progression!
Thank you again, Shernfire, for the great learning experience, and to everyone involved in putting on this and all boot camps!
