I’d give Ollie at Westwood Leber in Hoddesdon a solid 5 out of 5—honestly, I’d give more if I could! The communication was just excellent throughout the entire sale process, and everything about the experience was great. Really appreciated the smooth handling of our property sale a few months ago.

I need formally express my deep disappointment with the service I received during my recent engagement with this agency. The entire process surrounding my interest in renting a property was distressing, poorly managed with their support, and ultimately left me feeling patronised, unsupported, and emotionally drained. no support from Sam Andrews as a director, and disrespectful behaviour from Tom Jackson.

From the outset, during the viewing, it was clear that the property made me uncomfortable—a concern I expressed at the time. However, rather than acknowledging or responding with care, communication from their team became inconsistent, dismissive, and unprofessional in the weeks that followed. I felt pressured and uneasy about progressing with the tenancy, particularly given the lack of clarity and support.

As a woman navigating this process alone in search of a secure and comfortable home, I expected a degree of empathy and professionalism that was wholly absent. Instead, I was met with patronising behaviour, a lack of transparency, and treatment that left me feeling dismissed and even manipulated. This includes a verbal and written offer to refund my payment, which was then backtracked on without explanation an action that felt disingenuous and further eroded my trust.

The time I invested in this process has been wasted, and more significantly, the emotional toll it has taken on me has been substantial. I feel that I have been treated unfairly and with a lack of basic respect and care. To be told that the landlord was getting frustrated why I wasn’t signing the contract. This company knew and agreed to help me with a second visit to go over a list of things that was going to be carried out.

I would have appreciated a better response and actually having a face to face meeting but that was never scheduled in.

Wonderful, personal service by a team of knowledgeable and pleasant staff.

Defiantly the best estate agents in the area. I have dealt with two other estate agents in the town and Westwood Leber were more professional, attentive and great with communication. I had honest replies to any of my queries or questions. The chain did break and they were quick to get the ball rolling again and found new buyers for the property below us within a matter of weeks.

I would not hesitate in using them again or recommending them.

We have just sold through Westwood Leber and I can't praise them highly enough. Our initial meeting with Jacob for our valuation was extremely positive, he was knowledgeable, confident and we immediately had great faith that they would get us the sale even through they suggested a sale price that was 15-25K above the quotes given by competitors - and we still ended up selling for over the asking price!
Our sale and onward purchase was not straightforward and was personally overseen by Ryan Leber - I have been truly touched by the support and kindness shown by Ryan and without any doubt at all, our sale and onward purchase really did matter to him - not for sales commission or anything like that but because he was personally invested in helping us achieve our dream which sets him apart from anyone else I have ever encountered in the industry.

Amazing service from undoubtedly the best estate Agent in the area. We have used many estate agents over the years but these guys go over and above with their amazing efficiency and dedication. We have used them on 2 different occasions now and definitely wouldn’t consider using anyone else. Ryan and his team worked tirelessly to manage a difficult conveyancing process.
