5: JUNE 29th In terms of delivery it got much worse. We ordered (without paying up front) 2 pictures from Westwing on 3rd June so it has been almost 4 weeks so far. Today we thought we were getting them. 1st problem; we were in our neighbours, the courier came (the company is SDA) and did not call us. My wife contacted Westwing who were not helpful saying to wait until Monday. We contacted the courier (SDA) who were just plain rude. Then the courier finally came back...he was rude too. We did not get the pictures. Instead they sent us THE WRONG other thing which....its too complicated. These people are utterly lost. We got nothing we ordered ... its a joke.
4:9th June: We received the item; a beautiful piece of furniture. We will not pay Westwing up front for an item again.
3: 8th June: we were called yesterday that their courier would call us to arrange a time to deliver the product; no call. Online today, the person on the chat basically ignored our requests to get our money back when they said the manager wasn't available to call us. They never know where the product is; they never seem to actually do what they say they will. We had to phone the courier ourselves; something they neglected to do at any point it seems.
1: My wife and I have had an awful experience with this company; ordered a chair which was advertised to arrive in 1 to 2 weeks, paid up front, and 7 weeks later no sign of the chair. Customer service respond politely enough but then dont do anything. In one chat I was told i would be emailed about the courier delivery and got no email. In chats and on the phone they were clueless if they actually had the product after weeks of waiting. If you are to use this company, I would advise you do not pay up front. The items we bought for them through pay-on-delivery always seemed to arrive in a reasonable time-frame.
2: Regarding the reply from Westwing below: they are now telling us that we cannot get a refund on our Credit Card until the product arrives and we reject it!!! This is not what the website says. It says customers can cancel any time. We are now being told to wait two more days...but they still have no clue where the chair is. We would have simply put it out of our minds if we had not been obliged to pay up front. We feel people need to be warned not to trust what this company are telling the on the site about delivery and cancellation. And definitely try to avoid paying up front.
