Very poor service

Very poor service, have been wanting details of account to be changed, this has been going on for two years and still staff are incompetent can’t speak proper English, management have no idea what they are doing, pathetic service all round, this is the worst provider we have ever come across. My blood boils whenever I have to speak to these incompetent people, sorry we ever signed up. Save yourselves the trouble don’t use Westnet, they are useless. Two years of wanting services sorted and they still can’t do this

Internet Service good, people skills not so good

Service was good no complaints there. Problem was being billed for a service I did not have. Advising the company did not see this stop I had to cancel my direct debits. This was from September 2020 till July 2021 when they reimbursed just over $8. The fee was $5 monthly. I was not to concerned as it was not a lot and would credit my account. I became frustrated that it was ongoing due to requesting this debt to stop. I was 10 dats late paying my bill and I was suspended. Now I’m furious as it’s now October 2021 the company owes me money which I had requested which should have been cancelled November 2020. I could see no value in the way I was treated I paid the month that day. I cancelled my service with them and asked for a final bill. 1st credited me $42 second one I owed $27 third one I’m owed $92. These invoices were a day apart third one because I questioned the second as invoice day prior had me in credit I had just paid a months fee. I replied to the third that I would like it triple checked before sending me back the money.
Bottom line it took a year to resolve the issue while owing me money they suspend me for non payment when if they had resolved their error I would have been fine. They pass you from department to department which is where the problem is.
The staff are polite very polite however that does not cover incompetence. Two stars are for the polite reps and internet coverage.
Considering I live in one of the 12 lgas in strict lockdown live alone cutting the internet off was cutting me off from the world.
I have never been so poorly treated hours only the phone being hung up on. Only when I threatened to go to the ombudsman did they act and resolve my complaints. However I don’t want to have anxiety when I talk to a company feel like I’m just another customer.
I was truly upset and have gone with a news provider. Taking longer to get a modem as
Post is slow so I have had no internet for a week now. Thank you westnet/iinet for creating the most stressful isolated week I have felt since being in lockdown. I don’t recommend this company if you have issues that need resolving. The internet coverage was great it’s unfortunate they can’t back that up with the service
I changed my 2 stars to 1 closing my account is being made difficult. I left my new bank details for westnet/iiNet to refund me, first by phone, 3 times via email. Emails from westnet/iiNet request i verify an old account, this after I had by phone updated details. I replied, I no longer have that card I supplied new details twice now . They sent more emails requesting same information . Last email advising me I can’t update details via email, I have to call, which I did the first time. This has to be the worst service I have ever experienced the level of incompetence is surprising when they all seem so polite. I just wish to end all ties with this company nothing is easy with them
