Unacceptable messaging on cancelled appointment
My wife received an email yesterday to confirm her appointment. She went to the clinic the next morning to discover the appointment was cancelled. The clinic sent her a text message about the cancellation, obviously expecting ALL their clients to be tethered to their cell phone. Wife had not checked her messages.
The clinic cannot send SMS to clients (especially about cancelled appointments) and nothing else. A phone call in addition is required - solely SMS is a disgusting business practice. I am sure the people at the clinic who decided the SMS is good enough would be annoyed if this were to happen to them somewhere!
