We had a medication consultation for my son with Nick. The whole process was incredible. Nick explained everything so well and was so reassuring. There was no pressure it was a very very positive experience and we received the prescription the very next day. We are extremely happy with the service so far.

Our 12 year old son has recently gone through an ADHD assessment. The process was seamless and supportive. This is new territory for us as parents as well as for our son, so being treated with care and kindness was really appreciated. Explanation was given to the process, the steps and strategies have also been shared of how we can now navigate the world for our boy. He was made to feel like he was seen and mattered. I had my Adult ADHD assessment at the Start of January 2026. The whole experience was brilliant. Emma and Lindsey were fantastic with me . The two ladies on the reception team were also very welcoming and made me feel at ease. The whole day was a massive eye opener . I am glad I had my assessment done at Makewell. I have started using loop earbuds and they are absolutely great. My work colleagues have seen a massive postive impact since my assessment. I look forward to continuing my journey with Makewell.

My daughter (aged 5) had an autism and ADHD assessment with this team and I can’t recommend them highly enough. From the start, the staff were kind, patient, and genuinely attentive. They explained each step clearly and made sure we felt comfortable asking questions.

We never felt rushed or judged. Their approach was respectful, neurodiversity-affirming, and incredibly validating. What could have been a stressful process felt calm and supportive instead.

I was recommended by a friend re Makewell Clinic and its services, I had looked around a lot drove myself crazy, what and where is the right thing to do. I am eternally grateful to the friend as we have had a wonderful experience with the people at Makewell. I was at a loss as to what was wrong with my little boy, I had booked an ADHD Assessment, on arrival Lynsey spoke with me and expressed she had felt he required an Autisim Assessment, although sometimes hard to hear I was and she will never know how grateful I was to have someone identify something to what I was saying. We went ahead on their advice and of course they were correct. I just really feel that they know what their doing, they understand people, they treat you and listen to you like I have never experienced before. Lynsey, Emma and Hazel you are very special people who do a fantastic job and my encounters with you will stay with me at the instant ease I had when arrived and all the way through. I'm so glad we had you on this journey with us and so glad I chose this clinic.

After a lot of research, we decided to go with Makewell Clinic for our son’s private assessment, and we absolutely made the right choice. The whole process was made easy from beginning to end. The staff and clinicians made us feel very comfortable and took away all of our anxieties. The level of professionalism was top-notch, and I could not fault them. Couldn't recommend Makewell enough, honestly from the start all staff have been super helpful and supportive, especially Kim, Lynsey, Hazel, Sam and Emma. Throughout our sons whole assessment everyone has been there to support us a whole family, we're onto the next step now diagnosis and medication and again everyone is extremely supportive and understanding. Makewell, first the first communication every single lady and gentleman I spoke to were super helpful from anything little to anything big nothing was to much or little work for any of them! As a mum who was going into the whole assessment blinded I was soon put at ease. My little boy felt so safe here and loves all their sensory toys! There was so much for both parent and children there. I can’t thank make well enough they have changed our lives for the better.

We recently attended an ADHD assessment for our daughter, and the level of care and professionalism was outstanding. The assessment was comprehensive and lasted the entire morning. Our daughter was made to feel comfortable throughout, even enjoying a visit to see the horses and receiving a thoughtful goodie bag from the lovely Emma.
Lyndsey demonstrated exceptional expertise and attention to detail, asking thorough questions to gain a deep understanding of our daughter’s needs.

Amazing experience from start to finish. We came for my daughter’s autism assessment. From the minute the lovely Lynsey greeted us in reception she put us all at ease, even my super anxious 7 year old who doesn’t leave my side felt comfortable leaving me after just a few minutes with her. The communication and care from Emma was outstanding and was a support to me from my first email. Cheyenne conducted the second part of the assessment with me over teams and was constantly checking I was ok, reassuring me, checking if I needed a break, she didn’t rush me at all and made me feel 100% validated. The people here are so kind, friendly and knowledgable. And the pony’s, well they were just the icing on the cake, each one came over to us, it felt like they had an instinct and knew how much it would mean to my daughter.

The process was smooth, and the staff very accommodating and professional.

We had a great experience with Makewell. Our 10 year old daughter was very comfortable and felt at home. All the staff were very welcoming and professional. My daughter had that much fun in the room she wants to come back ! The horses were Beautiful and Ava the well being dog was just adorable and really helped us all to feel relaxed especially our daughter. We now have our diagnosis for our little girl and lots of questions answered. I fully recommend Makewell.

CHILD ASSESSMENT
I cannot fault the service we received from the team who were kind, understanding and welcoming. However if like us you are seeking an assessment for ADHD for a child who you believe to mask and the school do not agree please consider this before booking. Through watching there social media about masking I believed that masking at school and them not agreeing would not be a deciding factor in the outcome of the assessment. However this is not the case, my daughters report states there is evidence of impacting symptoms at home, a QB test and diva scores that support a diagnosis however did not meet the criteria for a diagnosis as this is not evidenced across all environments and is not reflected in information received from school. There was also no mention of consideration or the possibility of masking while at school mentioned in the report. I know everyone’s experience can be different but I just wanted to share ours with parents who may be in the same position.

I was anxious when considering an ADHD assessment after my partner had insisted that I needed to find out what was going on. I really didn’t need to be anxious as the whole experience was much less stressful than I thought it would be. From the administration team that dealt with my initial paperwork to the very professional healthcare team under taking the assessment were fantastic. Answering my never ending questions politely and knowledgeably The follow on care has been superb, finding the most appropriate treatments for me, has been a much easier journey due to the teams positive and caring approach

Our whole journey from start to finish with Makewell has been amazing! I could not fault the staff for how friendly, welcoming and understanding they all are. My son came in for his ADHD assessment and was so nervous the first time he came to Makewell but loved his experience that when we went back a second time for his Autism assessment he was actually excited! Everyone here goes above and beyond to help and keep you updated on everything going on.
I would highly recommend Makewell to anyone needing the services.

Brilliant from start to finish!
The whole team have been so supportive, understanding and caring, helping me with a comprehensive set of blood tests. Nothing has been too much trouble, even when it was difficult for me to have blood taken, there was genuine care and smiles all round. Highly recommend the whole Makewell team and can't rate them highly enough. Thank you so much for your help x

Had an intolerance test. Booked in same day and results back in 3 days. Very comprehensive test and nurse Lyn was very informative, kind and gentle. Will recommend to my friends.

I would highly reccomend makewell. I attended the clinic for an ADHD assessment and it was so detailed and intricate i really felt all bases were covered. I felt listened to and heard and all the staff were so lovely. It didn't feel like a medical clinic at all the setting is so lovely and peaceful and the rooms are really nicely laid out. Ive since started the process of trying adhd medication with them and they give you so much information and i didn't feel silly asking any questions. I'm so glad I was able to have my assessment done with such a genuine and caring team.
