Welcome Break Reviews 

I was desperate to use the toilet after a long drive home from Devon. I've never used this establishment before, but was more than happy given my situation, even allowing for the neg reviews. However, was much better than expected and even stayed a bit longer for a coffee and a Pret meal, which was served with a big smile.
Found the toilets clean and fully working and apparently the showers here are a freebie?
Will be stopping again here regardless of negative reviews. I give it a thumbs up.

Stopped to charge EV at Birchanger. 4 different chargers refused to conncet despite trying App, RFID card and credit card. Then had to exit services with minimum charge because of stupid 2 hour stay limit to find alternative charge point offsite. If you are going to have stay limits make sure your onsite services work so that people can comply. Will avoid Welcome Break in future

Awful Starbucks, rude staff virtually threw tea at us and growled “the milks behind ya”! The tea was awful, really weak,
Worst I’ve ever had. Toilets clean,’lots of free parking.

Obviously in financial difficulties. I was visitng the Starbucks at the Membury Lambourne (East) services on the M4 and decided to use the Starbucks coffee shop to finish off some work. Got a £60 parking fine from some random company (Parkingeye) who swear their signs were at the entrance to the car park. They were not. Anything to get money from their punters, I suppose.
My fault for seeing an empty car park and spending money there. Won't be making that mistake again.

Horrible staff at subway in sarn services was told couldn't order by the till had to use the screens.
How do they know I could read should be sacked

Charnock Richard’s M6 , you would that the money they charge they could fill the sink holes (not potholes ) on the entrance and Exits to the motorway. They charge us inflated prices but don’t seem to spend a penny repairing the roads . Customers beware if you hit some of those holes you will lose a wheel. Get it sorted and keep on top of it when done .

I had left my jacket at the site but with the diligence of Corrina, it was returned to me. Many thanks to her and Lee the site manager.
I regularly stop at the site but hadn’t realised that I had left the jacket there. Corinna found me in her own time. Amazing.

I used this service station to feed my 3 month old twin daughters. They advertise as a family friendly place but as I was feeding 2 babies I went slightly over the 2 hours parking and was fined. They will not accept that feeding is a necessity. I will not use this sham of a service station again and will avoid the welcome break company all together on future journeys

I will never, ever visit Membury Services Eastbound again. What brain-dead numpty designed a car park where all the cars parked on the side nearest the motorway have to converge towards the M4 exit at the very point where there is a zebra crossing right in front of the doors from the services building. Consequently all those streaming into and out of the building stride gaily over the crossing without a glance at the hapless drivers trapped in long queues politely for them to cross. It took me half an hour to move 50 yards. Spitting feathers isn’t in it!

Welcome Break Newport Pagnell Northbound Services M1

I know how hard it is to find employees like this, hence my mail to management.

I found my myself in stranded for 6 hours due to a blowout. The empathy or 'caring' (kindness) and assistance shown by Kate who works at Welcome Break Newport Pagnell Northbound Services M1 unbelievable! She went out her way in 3 degrees weather for hours assisting me with the sourcing and change of tyre – unbelievable!

It’s hard to find people today her so easily restore faith in humanity – she does just that!

Visiting UK and in a rental car, we stopped for a night at Welcome Break Cardiff M4, paid for parking (with invoice to prove it) input registration number and left the next morning. Later, the car hire company deducted a parking fine from Parking Eye. However, Welcome Break offered no assistance, claim no record of the car registration and have told us that is our fault. We essentially paid extra for Welcome Break for a service they didn't provide, a service for which we were later penalised, and then rudely told that they can't help us. Useless company, terrible support, no help whatsoever. I guess it's a scam they run on foreign people in rental cars.

Shower are cold and couldn't get out the shower area so I had go through the fire door, kfc was not good

Toilets not cleaned very often, maintenance is shocking, newark site was good at first, now neglected, management need a good kick up the backside

Welcome Break Keele was terrible apart from clean toilets , the Good Breakfast establishment there made awful food , for a vendor that specilizes in a breakfast it was the worst i have ever come across both of us ordered the big breakfast which was expensive , the eggs were semi raw as was the bacon the beans were reheated old ones , mushrooms were blackish , My local greasy spoon does a better job at half the price . Avoid this place.

Burger King was great awkward recording no milck shake😢but it was good

How someone will give it five star? I live near it and on a Sunday when I want a coffee early that place is open. It’s so ugly shabby look. And my my the prices such a rip off. If I didn’t live near to it I would have never stopped at this place. I lived in the USA and highway services are cheap there as they want you to come in. The UK is such a rip off shocking that people go along with it!

The worst breakfast I have ever had. All the parts of the breakfast had been over cooked and must have been sitting round for ages. The bacon was so rock hard it was uneatable. The eggs were like plastic. The sausages were of the poorest quality. It was all disgusting. VERY DISSAPOINTED

Newport Pagnell Northbound has only 1 lane for HGV's to fuel up. These pumps have been down for months and its causing drivers to lose time.
Its exactly the same at Hartshead Moor services westbound. Very slow pumps.
Unfortunately I have to use Welcome break services due to the fuel card our company use, but its an absolute disgrace the state of their services in general!!

This is the worst neport pagnel, wellcome break i came across in entire united kingdom, as a traveler i will never recommend this well come break. Very unhyginec very very dirty. Staff is rude including managers. To many pot holes, lack of knowldge. Should be complain on local council with food hygine.
