My experience with We Flex was disappointing from start to finish. The staff were fine when renting, but when it came to returning the car, they became aggressive and unreasonable. They keep adding surprise charges and blame you for things you didn’t do. Definitely not a company you can trust.

What a total headache this has been
I am so disappointed with my experience with We Flex, The lack of communication and the lack of concern for customers.
This company is ment to be for people to be able to plate your cars and earn a living!
From day one this has been a headache.
Firstly I have paid a non refundable deposit of £1000 and already paid 3 weeks payment of £165 and left me with a car I can not license.
So I got a phone call the day before collection that the car I was offered had something wrong with it but they had another car that was the same make and model but a year older but a higher spec (HN72 PPX)
I have already sorted the day off work and paid for my £82 train ticket to travel from Chorley to London.
It wasn’t ready when I arrived even though I was told it would be and it would be serviced before collecting also (as I was told the car needed servicing every 15 to 20,000 miles) to then be told it needed a new tyre and they said I needed to take it to the garage my self before a 4 and a half hour drive back home; it turned out to be two tyres the car needed and when I was at the garage I was told that all the tyres had too higher pressure which the garage sorted. I was told by We Flex that I would be in and out quick but I was there for over an hour before the drive back home. Which was 230 miles I have put less than 300 miles on this car.
The car was a great drive home! So after a few days I sorted out a taxi MOT. That was put down as a fail due to a daytime running light , ( as it is an LED light and tied into the headlight the whole headlight needs replacing) brake light and reg light being out plus having a missing nut on the front passenger wheel! I was in complete shock when I was told this, as the car was MOT by your fleet team just 4 days before I picked it up. What type of garage doesn’t do a MOT properly (seems like stevie wonder has done it) but yet you still manages to let cars leave the fort court obviously knowing this! It has me wondering how many others cars are being checked like this!
After finally getting in touch with We Flex about all these issues I was told to go to my local Halfords garage and get them to sort the parts and labour and We Flex would pay for it on something called “one link” this has been another headache as the parts have been hard do get from MG and Halfords have been told that my car isn’t on we flex fleet when Halfords called We Flex up themselves.
My whole experience has been a constant regret! You will happy take the weekly payments off me but don’t seem at all bothered that I am still left with a car I can not use and that I can not plate as a taxi to earn my living!
My 4 week warranty runs out in a week and it just seems like everything you are doing is a stalling tactic so you don’t have to pay for all the repairs that your fleet team have left.
I am currently in contact with my local citizen advice bureau and they have said I should pass all this on to the DVSA and speak to the financial Ombudsman and also trading standards.
So far this has cost me over £2000 after getting a home charger fitted, I only went to We Flex as a friend got a car from them and everything has been ok.
