Absolute fraud
Absolute fraud. Stay Away.
I had a terrible experience with Wefix365. On January 27, 2025, they confirmed the cleaning rate and assured me that all materials would be provided. To secure the booking, they required a deposit, which I paid. They then confirmed a cleaner would arrive on Friday at 11:00 AM.
The night before, Charlie from Wefix365 called, asking if the appointment could be rescheduled due to their mistake. I declined as I had guests arriving, and he reassured me that the cleaner would arrive as scheduled.
On Friday, a young worker, who had only recently arrived in the UK seeking asylum, showed up at my door completely unaware of the job details and without any cleaning supplies. He explained that the job had been sublet last minute and that no instructions had been provided. I felt bad for him as he had taken a long bus ride to reach our address and I spoke to his boss, who confirmed that no instructions were provided and it was a very last minute job given to them. He understood the issue and asked my to contact Wefix365. When I contacted Charlie, he admitted to the mix-up and suggested I provide the materials or allow the cleaner to purchase them—he even asked me to lend my vacuum. I would have been willing to, but my vacuum had stopped working days earlier, which was one of the main reasons I booked the service.
Despite presenting written confirmation from his colleague Imogen stating that all cleaning materials would be provided, Charlie refused to take responsibility. He insisted the deposit was non-refundable and then stopped answering my calls and messages. Imogen also ignored my attempts to reach her.
I had to escalate the issue to PayPal, which ruled in my favor after Wefix365 failed to provide any evidence. My payment was refunded, and PayPal even confirmed they were investigating potential fraudulent activity by the company.
This was an incredibly unprofessional and unethical experience. I strongly urge others to avoid Wefix365—they take your money, fail to deliver on their promises, and then stop responding.
