Lee was excellent all round. He was quick, professional and clearly knew what he was doing. He sorted out the sockets in the room efficiently and left everything looking like new afterwards. Unprofessional plumbers to avoid
I used WeFix to alter the hot and cold water pipework under my kitchen sink. Their plumber replaced the existing isolation valves as part of the work and, unfortunately, the newly worked-on pipework/valve was leaking by the following morning. It appears to have been leaking overnight, and water reached some of my newly delivered kitchen cabinetry in wood.
What disappointed me just as much was the way the situation was handled when I called that morning. Rather than showing any concern that work carried out the previous day was now leaking, the manager immediately focused on telling me that if the problem involved any part that wasn’t theirs, it wouldn’t be covered by their warranty and they wouldn’t be liable.
At that point the cause had not even been inspected by their returning plumber, so I found the response unnecessarily defensive and extremely unhelpful during what was obviously a stressful situation involving an active water leak.
I also expected a leak arising the morning after their plumbing work to be treated as an urgent callback. Instead, I was given an afternoon appointment and had to take emergency steps to isolate the water in the meantime to prevent further damage.
The affected cabinetry is currently drying, so I am still waiting to establish whether there is any permanent damage.
Based on both the leak immediately following the work and, particularly, the way the problem was handled when reported, I would not use WeFix again and cannot recommend them.

I was sorry to learn that there had been a nominal escape of water overnight, and promptly arranged for one of our senior engineers to attend as soon as possible same day to repair the leak.
It is disappointing that a second visit was required to resolve what should have been completed to the highest standard on our first attendance, but I am pleased that the issue was addressed within hours of our being notified.
Whilst confident that there will not be any lasting damage to the property, I await your confirmation in due course so that we may consider the matter closed.
