I have for more than 10 years had 2 web sites hosted by weebly and then they send me an email (just the one) and say I've got to pay straight away! I went to look at my web sites and they are gone. Unless I pay I can't even get to my sites to copy the writing/pictures or anything. Yes! a bit more notice. Yes! a better service giving my time to pick up my pieces of web site. Yes! you have now stolen my web site from me without a by your leave or kiss my bottom. Will I recommend Weebly or Fluffing square! No No No - Totally Disgusted
Change the goal posts…
Weebly tell you you can set up a custom domain as part of their free service. So you build two full websites only to be told this has now changed and you must pay. Feel like criminals to me!
Bugs and annoying ads on my site
My website menu disappeared and am being bothered by ads on my site.
Straight trash.
Somebody reported content I was sharing, and their staff jumped to conclusions, took it as truth without any due dilligence and removed my account. This platform is trash. There's always another side to the story, and I hope this organization learns from this brutal lesson because it cost them another bad review. There's also evidence online that their CEO is a convicted pedophile. Until you properly vet the information you've received it's speculation at best, and when you make assumptions based off speculation you're asking, begging, pleading for trouble. You can't believe everything you read on the internet. I strongly suggest you avoid this platform.
Bugs and cannot contact support
I loved Weebly for ease of use, but the embed code feature stopped working. After trying it on different browsers and different computers I got the same issue. To contact support you have to search the help archives and even then the hours of support are limited. I've pay $800 a year for 4 years and I'm really disappointed with them.

I enjoyed their site for the ease of use but now i would rather you all to stay away from this web host, they lack the ability to upload your own html and just terrible, plus they terminated account without telling me what i did! And dont bother asking weebly i dont want ky account back!
Looks bad and I can't get any help
I can't get any help. My portfolio site looks terrible. Images are fuzzy and changes don't save as they are supposed to; it's really unpredictable how things will look on mobile or web browser once you actually publish your changes. Now that Square has bought Weebly, things haven't improved - I'm just getting forced to sign up with Square to access my website editor, even though I'm not selling product and I don't need Square. Will be changing to another web host / site builder.
Extremely poor customer service
Extremely poor customer service.
Not possible to change or upload an OG image for your site. No one knows how to do it, and information are nowhere to be found.
Slow and useless customer service.
What a shambles
What a shambles. Weebly is useless and don't waste your time with it.

Used to be great now just take the money. Do not use can't get in contact with them can't get a refund be warned
Steer well clear
Terrible company. Can't get hold of anyone. I'm not even sure anyone works there, do they? There is no customer support that's for sure. Bunch of pillocks. Avoid.
Weebly used to be my favorite website…
Weebly used to be my favorite website platform, that was ten years ago. Gradually the issues have grown so much that I do not want to log in much less touch any of my websites. But I have about 8 free sites and sometimes I need to fix things that manage to change by themselves, such as font size or an element that has bounced elsewhere. A few years ago I started a blog and uploaded an image for each post. Next thing I know the images were displaying on wrong posts despite each image having its own individual name. I thought this was something I had done but the problem was so hard to fix I gave away the blog for another platform. Using the mobile editor is an absolute nightmare, vast and indescribable damage can be done using the editor. For example, scrolling to the correct page can actually move the pages about and change their level. And there is no guarantee that the element that was updated will stay in the correct placement. Elements are very unstable to use. The desktop version is the only way to stay safe using Weebly. And now the biggest nightmare of all. There seems to be no where to find your account settings. Instructions via Support help, which has images, are not true, those instructions might have worked one time but they do not work now. One goes around and around looking for a way to one's settings. And now that Square has taken over the nightmare grows. I do not want to sell on Weebly/Square as there is no way I will inflict customers with this platform. I did not want a merchant account with Square but I was forced to hand over private information just so that I had access to my Weebly account before it expired. I am not a beginner when it comes to building websites but Weebly has done me in, I would delete my account if I didnt have websites that I want to keep. The one good thing about Weebly that has never changed is that Support is always responsive, for both free and paid, the support team is excellent.
Wont Let You Delete Account Easily
Had to contact customer service to delete my account because they wouldn't let me delete my account normally. Very irritating process for something that should be simple to do. They give wrong information on their support page on how to delete accounts.
Oh also to add they are one of these stupid companies that don't actually "delete" your account they "remove your information from the system" which means they're still holding onto all your info in a secret box somewhere that'll probably get hacked one of these days knowing the track record of these tech companies. Regret ever signing up for this site considering I never actually used it.
Worst website builder
This whole app never works. Online isnt much better. You can't edit your website and since the acquisition, it's been horrible. I am now considering switching all together for both of my websites. Nothing but headaches. The layouts are super basic and ugly, customizing has gone to crap, and nothing switches like it should. Paying and upgrading doesn't change or help anything other than removing the ads, I still had to reach out to customer service multiple times before that got resolved. Customer Support is virtually non existent! Worst website building platform
Weebly.com free website builders
Weebly, has no oversight on what people build or use on their site, which allows scammers to prey on senior citizens and people already hurting to make ends meet. This company should have an FBI probe into the dealing of this site and it's developers. BEWARE if you receive any contact from users of this site.
Awful, unreliable, and distrustful
weekly hides so many essential pieces of information that can truly hurt and ruin your business. if you have more than one type of shipping (such as USPS Priority Mail small or medium boxes), you have to pay $80 A MONTH to be able to assign those boxes to certain items. THIS IS A SCAM. and completely ruined the hundreds I spent on printing my flyers to share my business because now I can't even CHARGE FOR SHIPPING PROPERLY ON MY WEEBLY SITE.
I have been using Weebly for a few…
I have been using Weebly for a few years now, and it's one of my favorite tools for creating websites. It is so easy to use, and the drag-and-drop editor makes it super simple to create a site that looks exactly how you want it to look.
I really like how the system allows me to upload content from other places online—like YouTube videos or Google Drive files—into my site without any issues. This is great because I can always be sure that everything on my site is up-to-date, and it makes adding new content very quick and easy.
Overall, I definitely recommend Weebly as a good starting point for anyone looking to create a website!
Weebly is the absolute worst. Do yourself a favor and stay away!
Weebly is an awful business with little ability to resolve your problems in a timely manner or at all and you spend months of your time problem solving with their miserable to non-existent customer support with no real issue tracking and starting over with new support people each time who neglect to take things seriously or follow through with you at a later date. I would suggest everyone take their valuable time and money elsewhere.
Impossible to control how the phone version of the app looks
Really difficult to control how the phone version of the website will work since you can not change anything. You can only build in the laptop version and "hope" that the phone version will come out ok. when asking the weebly community support group how to change the font size in the phone version so it is smaller and looks reasonable, they suggested I have to put a long drawn out code into the setting. How you do that I have no idea.. I would have thought something as basic as that should have been installed into the creative background of the website so that your website would look good when viewed in both the laptop and phone version. Not happy about the lack of this basic control in designing my own website, especially after paying for their service!
Weebly started out awesome and after…
Weebly started out awesome and after Square bought them it's been a disaster... No customer service or help at all have to make a square account and logins are a mess no more innovation. I moved to Shopify and Shopify is sooo much better. They simply bought it to get rid of a competitor and force them to make square accounts, that's a crappy business move and I wont support it or ever use square again.
