1 ⭐ WebiMax Review - Awful!

⭐ WebiMax Review – Honest Experience After 2+ Years

I worked with WebiMax for over two years, consistently paying $500 per month for SEO services. Unfortunately, during that entire time, I saw very little value or measurable progress for my business.

In just the last two months of independently using SEO tools and educating myself, I’ve learned more about SEO than I ever did during my two years as a WebiMax client. That alone speaks volumes.

One of my biggest frustrations was the lack of transparency. I was never given a clear answer on how many hours of work were actually included in my monthly fee. Every time I asked, I received vague explanations or a runaround—never a straight answer.

After receiving multiple “under-the-hood” evaluation reports, I later discovered on my own that many of the details were either incomplete or not clearly disclosed. There were numerous backlinks that were listed or implied but never actually completed. Additionally, many small but critical website optimizations—such as proper H1 and H2 heading structure and other foundational on-site SEO elements—were never addressed or even communicated to me. These are basic items that would have made a meaningful difference in my website’s performance.

While Tom, my account rep, was pleasant and easy to work with, it became clear that his strength was sales and communication—not results. Promises were well-worded, but execution was lacking. Higher-level management, including Ed Cilurso, also failed to provide clear or direct answers despite multiple conversations.

Through my own professional research, I also learned that WebiMax appears to utilize resources outside of their promoted “in-house” team. This was never clearly disclosed during the sales process and felt misleading based on how their services were represented.

Based on my experience, I would strongly advise against using WebiMax for website or SEO services. Much of the process felt unclear and, at times, fishy due to the lack of transparency and accountability.

Overall, WebiMax was a poor return on investment. For over $12,000 spent, I expected strategy, education, honesty, and measurable progress—none of which were delivered in a meaningful way.

I would not recommend WebiMax to business owners looking for real SEO growth, transparency, or accountability.

I hired Webimax to assist me with SEO…

I hired Webimax to assist me with SEO and after about a year of working with them at a rate of $3500 per month, very little, if any, progress was made. One month things improve a little, then the next month that's down and something else is up, and so on. I was willing to give the benefit of the doubt that these things just take time, but then we hit financial issues and I told them I needed to pause or cancel. They talked me into pausing for a month and then continuing at a lower rate, but as time drew nearer, I could see that we really just needed to cancel. Combining financial restraints with having 6 kids to take care of and a service that was not resulting in any value for our business, there was no other way around it. I had, at the time, planned to resume services with them at some point in the future - at this point in time, I had thought "maybe getting a result with this stuff just takes longer than I thought and have the budget for, but they seem like good people." And they are...when they're taking your money. But when you want to cancel, they talk you out of it and then when you really do just absolutely have to cancel, they then charge you for another month, citing their "cancellation" policy, which might be fair if not for the fact I ORIGINALLY wanted to cancel in JUNE, which if I had just done so, I wouldn't have been billed in August. With the absolute fortune they must be raking in for such minimal work, you would think they would look at the fact I told them I couldn't afford to continue in JUNE and just cancel me until further notice (or resume in SEPTEMBER like I had ORIGINALLY asked). Had they done that, we wouldn't be in this situation. I would have been thinking it's just a slow process and to resume when we financially could afford to do so. Instead, they've shown me they don't care about their clients - which now has me doubting that any real effort was ever put in for the many months I was paying them. I don't know how these people sleep at night. I would have loved to just part ways without saying anything. (Or, if they'd gotten me good results, I would have left a good review.) But I wasn't even initially going to leave an honest review about the lackluster results because I was willing to believe that it just takes time (like they told me). I would even have been willing to believe that maybe OTHER people get better results with them and my case was just more difficult. But they have shown their true colors now, and really, how you treat a client when they need to step away for a bit really tells you the true character of the company, and now that I see this true character that Webimax has, I question everything else, too. Mainly, though, I don't want to see anyone else end up in this situation. If you're going to work with them, read the fine print. If you need a break for financial reasons, QUIT IMMEDIATELY. Do not let them talk you into a reduced price or another month, because if it gets to where you truly just can't make it work, they won't consider that you actually DID want to cancel sooner. They will prey on your kindness and use it against you to line their pockets. I'm very disappointed that they have shown me this is who they are as a company.

One word, Extortion

One word, Extortion! Gina was great at giving me hope with reputation repair, that I could get one defamatory article "suppressed" by loading the net with other social media, fluff articles and updates to posts in different places, flooding my name with positive exposure. The price was incredible! I was aghast! $2000 a month! They acted like they could barely $1000 without sweating. I spent $4000 in five months hoping for change. The article never budged. Dominick would not let me talk with "the team" and he seemed like the hesitant messenger when there was no improvement. I finally gave up and decided to cancel. That's when things went south. Whenever I tried to cancel, they would say I couldn't because I didn't give 30 days’ notice. "OK... one more $1000." So the next month I told Dominick i wanted to cancel. "oh, you only gave 28 days notice so you can't." They had already debited my card before the anniversary date. Well I can't afford this anymore. "Let me talk to the team," he says hesitantly. He comes back and says the "team" says they'll refund the money if I give them a good review. And only AFTER I give a good review. Perfectly legal. But slimy and deceptive. One more thing: They have perfected the art of suppressing bad reviews for their own company. I almost had to go to the dark net to find all the truth published about them. But they wouldn't do crap about my online reputation score. Empty promises and extortion tactics.

We needed more leads and a lower cost…

We needed more leads and a lower cost per lead. Their PPC team built a custom landing page and rebuilt our google ads and also setup offline conversion imports. The results have been incredible!

Not a good experience

I used Webimax to help my online presence. I signed on for three months. The project manager on the initial phone call hadn't prepared and had no idea what I was looking for. He did improve by the second month. The third month my "internet" rating went back down to the initial rating. $3,000.00 later and I was back where I started. Just avoid it. I'm not really confident they have a "team" of people working on your stuff. If they do, they are not good at their job.

Terrible experience

Terrible experience, took money and ran. They charged me $2500 a month to "aggressively "market my website to improve SEO results. Instead my website dropped OFF the search results. Refused to refund me my money. Tried to upsell me to buy a new website from them. Ripoff.
