Scammers is what these people are. As soon as you sign up you start getting emails, and SMS. I made the mistake of giving them my phone number and now they won't stop blowing up my phone + I have unsubscribed from their emails and I still get them. Now I have reported them for abuse. I have been in this business since 2005, and I can tell you that spammers like these guys turn into scammers really fast. Whatever you do, don't give them your phone number. I have to block them everywhere. If you can't trust a company to stop sending you emails if you don't want them, you can't trust them with anything else. You give these guys your credit card, and they will go shopping. Slimy and scammy.

UPDATE: I finally got the emails to stop by contacting their email provider 'Postmark'. They are now under investigation for spam abuse. Now I get messages on Viber that cannot be blocked because they are using the system in a way that you cannot reply to them, or block getting messages from them. The name of the two people involved in this scam are Adrian Morrison, and Anthony Morrison. These are the lowest, most rotten, disgusting, evil, pathetic excuses for humans on the planet. They will go down hard - To jail in handcuffs when they are found.

This is not a real company, they are a congregation of pirates. They are foreign scammers who you will ultimately end up having to hire an attorney to track down. Avoid

Webby Design Studios is a scam. They were supposed to design 2 websites for me for $4,100.00 in June. The proofs were never what I agreed to so I opted for their " 100% satisfaction, 100% money back guarrantee ". That was in June 2023 and I still haven't received my money. I've now hired an attorney.
Run the other direction, FAST!!!

As many of you are already aware of it, there are several pirate companies on the World Wide Web. To prevent many of you from being victimized by some of them, I will inform you of Webby Design Studio. This company actually makes piracy and internet fraud looks amateurish. The tactics they used to fraudulently make you pay for unnecessary service is draw dropping to say the least. The lies, the constant deceptive tactics and the arrogance of the employees and ownership is from another stratosphere.

In the spring of 2023, I initiated a business relationship with the Piracy Company, thinking they were a legit and honest company. I trusted them with handling the web service and content for a website that I was creating for my company and the podcast, (The Love On The Cloud) that I was supposed to launch since the summer. Out of nowhere, the account specialist that I was working with from the beginning, who has been a standup guy from the very inception of the relationship, he got sent to a year-long training, not termination, but training. And that was the beginning of the deceptive tactics to rob me with the suggestions, and demands of unnecessary fees and applications, while hiding behind the government requirements figurative language. The newly assigned specialist to my account, an individual by the name of Simon Wilson, decided that even though I have already had a blueprint with the previous account specialist, he would start proposing a ton of unnecessary requests, applications, and demands while saying those are required by laws and regulations that govern these types of works.

My trademark which was discussed and agreed up with the previous specialist went from $1000.00 to $1820.00, then I needed a second copy for the company’s logo, which has already been copyrighted $350.00. After that, I required an attestation for $300.00 while also charging me an extra $350.00 for an LLC that was already paid, by claiming it was a due balance.
When I asked Simon to turn over to me all the legal documents that I would need to proceed and start operating, he told me that I would need to pay another $1849.00 to claim the copyright of the company that I have already paid to copyright and trademark.

When I refused to pay such an exorbitant amount, I contacted both the Library of Congress in Washington and the DMCA, they told me they were completely unaware of what those exorbitant charges would be for, I contacted Simon and told him I wanted to end all business relationship and I want the legal documents for the services that I paid for. Simon the pirate told me that to provide those documents, I would have to pay the $1849 so that his legal team could process everything together to avoid paying multiple lawyer fees. Once I declined and threatened to go to the appropriate agencies to report him and the company, Simon insinuated that his father is a lawyer, he fears nothing. Then he told me that the previous specialist that he himself told me was sent to a one-year training because of how valuable of an asset he was to the company was, in fact, terminated because of incompetence. When I called his lies and deceptions to his attention, he started blowing up my phone, when I did not answer, he texted me saying if I am a man, I should pick the phone when he calls me.

Again, he soon thereafter got caught in another deceptive Pinocchio style of lying. Simon told me that all the fees that were charged had nothing to do with him and his company, rather they were government established fees and there was nothing he could do apart from allow me to make split payments. When again I turned his offer down and proposed to report their activities to the BBB, he wrote to me a said, his legal team advised him the can bear the burden of up to $800.00. That is $800.00 from the government required fees.

The lies are endless, and the thieves inside Webby Design Studio make the pirates and thieves from Nigeria and other places known for fraudulent schemes look like they aren’t even born yet. Avoid them at all cost and if they scammed you in some ways, report them to the BBB and AG’s office. We need to get them out of business and behind bars. I am already in contact with my AG’s office in an attempt to have them to contact the AG’s office of their region, so they can be charged with theft and wire fraud. If they are stealing your money with those tactics, who is to say if they are not into identity theft as well.

Just stay away from this company or quickly run away from them. They entice you to get them to do your website and they use off shore China resources. I hired them to do a simple website through bill Johnson. It was just a terrible experience then the pm Keith Fernandez, I explained to them exactly what I wanted and my site was hosted through a different web hosting company. Instead of going through wp-admin ligon which I gave them they were trying to access through my web hosting company account snd kept requesting password changes. The password was changed as initially I gave them the web host company Logon as requested and thry started to buy services under my account. Which they denied they did that. Then after 3 weeks they put a site up using a basic template which was not what we discussed and thry tried to get me to host my site eith them. At that point I wanted a refund. They had an alon Cohen call me up and asked why I was canceling I told him and he stated he was going to process a refund. For everyone thry have all the information to process a refund, to the other reviewers they are asking for that information as a stall tactic and a way to delay your refund. No need to give them any additional information. So run away from them do not use them go somewhere else. Finally I did ask for a site they did for someone. I should have realized they were nothing but scam artistsJust run away from them. Here's what they do....nothing. been dealing with bill on and off the past few months. Started out with a 5 page website for 200+ dollars. They presented a standard template I tried to work with them but thry keep trying to log into my ionos account instead of the wp-admin account. Once they got in they started purchasing these items under my ionos account. Canceled those services spoke with Bill who denied that his team was doing that. Should of canceled then but gave them another chance and nothing same thing, then they were going to pitch me to move to their hosting and I wrote a fair but negative experience on trust pilot. They called and offered me a refund spoke to someone named alon and no refund. Got the site built by someone else and last piece was the email notification. I told Bill fine you do that and call it even just to cut my losses here. After all these assurances the work they did was to add the newsletter capture - not what I asked for at that point just refund me...bills reply was we did the work and don't thread me anymore. Then I stated I plan on leaving a review and then he said he look into it and nothing. Just cut your losses they will string you along and wear you down. This is not a company you want to deal with. Obviously they are more concern about getting negative reviews as they asked me to please pull down my other review and to be fair I did. But please don't use them nothing but scam artists. Have you actually seen a website they built or talked to a real satisfied customer and not some friend putting in a positive review?

Update Sunday September 3 2023. They are trying to request a reset of my wp-admin password. Who knows maybe to highjack the site. They have no reason to. Just shows the depths they will go to.....

Thinking of filing a class action lawsuit for failure to adhere to contracts etc. Thoughts anyone? That would shut them down permanently and no one slse will get scammed.....

They text me one hand they say reviews don't bother them then they say my review is harassment towards them.
They also have refused to refund my money to me. So thry provided zero services under there contract. So nothing but pure theft. DO NOT TRUST OR USE THEM THEY ARE CROOKS AND SCAM ARTISTS. THRY CANNOT EVEN POINT TO A SITE THEY DEVELOPED. DO NOT USE THEM FIBD SOMEONE ELSE DO NOT TRUST BILL OR EVERYONE ELSE THEY CLAIM TO BE. THE ONLY WAY THEY REFUND YOU IS IF YOU DELETE YOUR NEGATIVE REVIEWS. THATS WHY THERE ARE NOT ALOT OF NEGATIVE REVIEWS BUT THE ONLY POSITIVE REVIEWS ARE BY FRIENDS.....

This was my first time ever using Webby Design Studios, and I can definitely say I would recommend to anyone looking for a amazing website design. Their customer support is top notch and the assigned project manager is constantly in contact. Thank you to Webby design studios and all its designers.

I have had two websites with them for many years. Their support is top-notch, are far the best hosts I have been with and my websites loads so much faster. Tested my website on GT metric and got a score of 100% for performance.

I have been working with Ethan and his team for several weeks. They have been extremely patient in explaining things to me in non-technical ways. They also caught the vision for my site and are taking it beyond even what I'd imagined!

In the midst of this process, Ethan also has taken the time to discuss many details with me so I understand both how my website works today and how it can grow. He is timely in his responses to me, and I appreciate his excellent communication.

EDITED TO SAY: the below response by the “company” is also disingenuous and I was contacted and requested to remove the review, which I almost considered, but the reality is that I did not want anyone else to fall victim to the same circumstances we did. It’s awful that you are making all these claims of professionalism when I have several screenshots of complete harassment and direct requests to be left alone. You’re no company, you’re a group of guys or relatives 2-3 who happen to know how to design a website.. and solicit money daily for unrequested services. I considered your apology when you called, but now that you’ve publicly indicated that my review is by any means “defamatory” when it is true. I will absolutely not delete it. One of your “company” men called me several times back to back in a matter of seconds, and when I said I was not interested in any soliciting for the day and that I needed to tend to my screaming child, he told me that disconnecting the call would make me “unprofessional” when I disconnected anyway, he called back another 3 times within those seconds. Stop pretending to be an established company. The response to this review is by far the most concise and understandable use of the English language that has been used in any communication with you.

They are not who they say they are, do not be deceived. They are money-hungry family members and solicitors based out of foreign lands claiming to be an American company and business. They understand nothing you tell them, they are extremely rude and immensely unprofessional. They text you every day, several times a day in broken English to solicit more money. I personally, have asked via email and text and phone call to stop being contacted, but I think the guy thinks it’s funny. He still messages me constantly. I’ve paid about $2,000 to this scammer. When I was initially quoted a one time fee of about $450. Absolutely avoid this scam.

I started my business in January and was looking for someone to design my website. I googled web design and Webby came up in my search. I reached out and was immediately connected to someone to talk about what I was looking for. Ethan Stevenson was that person. I had no experience with building a website and all the other parts it takes to get branded and noticed on the many internet platforms. I Hired Webby Design Studios to build an E-Commerce website for my online hair store. They were professional, and a pleasure to work with.. Especially Tom, he went above and beyond - he reaches out to me after the work was done to make sure everything to working fine and to see if I need any assistance.

Trying to start a very small business. I am not expecting to make every much. When I initially called the guy I spoke to told me everything was included, even logo work. That was not entirely true. I picked a mid-level plan. I ended up getting a new person to work with and we had had to work out some misinformation from the initial person. But she was wonderful working with me on the project. We're almost finished and they've really tried to give me awesome work and keep me happy.
