Security and Privacy

I have used AD Blocker in the past and found it helpful. I am concerned that the credit card information will be used for other purposes than AD Blocking. My financial information has been compromised by others in the past. How can I be sure that it will not happen again? Can you tell me how you are held accountable for my data being used for any reason other than blocking advertisements. Will the customer be made whole in the case of a data breach?
