Quick question?

I was wondering if there was any way to connect with other Wearsafe users in your gps location? Would be great to connect/alert other trail runners in my area so that they could help if I was in distress or be alerted to a potential situation. Thanks for your reply.

Test Support for Service

Called twice today seeking help with testing the service but got nowhere! The same woman (Michelle) who had no clue ... and kept saying she only responds to billing and shipping... no customer support! However, the number listed to call for Customer Support (877-444-0002) led to her, even when I pressed Tech assistance. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, there was no one available. Terrible!
SO different from the OUTSTANDING service I got to download the app and set up my contact list.
So disappointed!

I do not recommend the Wearsafe device.

I purchased 2 Wearsafe devices for my college age daughters. Unfortunately , they simply did not work out. They controllers are very sensitive. Even after trying to correct the setting they continued to go off if bumped or tapped. The result left me getting numerous alert messages for no reason. In addition, they are poorly constructed and fell apart numerous times resulting in us pushing them back together. I sent them back and asked for the account to be cancelled after 2 months. On a good note they where responsive to giving me instructions as how to return the items and cancel the monthly service fee.

Hi! Did you know that there are multiple settings for your Wearsafe Tag? You can change your settings to avoid false alerts. Go to More > Activator Settings. You can choose single press, press and hold, or triple press. And you can change your settings at any time. From what you describe, triple press might be the best option for you. Great customer service!

Fortunately, we haven't had to use it yet, but the ordering process and customer service response has been amazing. It looks like a great product - just hope we never have to use it. It should be made available to all college students at orientation!

A great product from a great company

This product gives my wife and I incredible peace of mind. On top of that, it's production quality is high and the iOS and Android apps are implemented well and easy to use. I had a question of the support staff and was contacted quickly and satisfactorily. Finally, the price point for the Wearsafe device is a great bargain for the peace of mind.

Long time to receive

It took a long time ti receive because it was lost in shipping and had to be resent ,so didnt arrive forchristmas as hoped,

Hi! During an alert and while Wearsafe Rewind is active, we use the default mic your phone is connected to. Smartphones usually turn off audio playback while the mic is active, just like during a phone call or video recording. If you're planning to use audio playback, disable Wearsafe Rewind from the More screen.

Customer service

Excellent customer service with quick response time, even throughout the holidays. I just requested a new clip attachment for my tag (pretty minor request) and they prioritized it so I could back to running with an ease of mind. So glad I got my lifetime membership and am confident that my support for them during their Kickstarter campaign was worth the investment in this solid company. Thanks guys!

Device arrived quickly, but issues with set up. Company VERY helpful!

The device arrived quickly and in good condition. It was also easy to setup the monthly plan. I ordered the device and set up my account at the same time. I struggled to link the device with my current subscription. I contacted customer service a few days ago and they were very responsive and helpful. This is our second device. The first one works great and is used often. The second was a Christmas present for a family member.

Great device, but very sensitive

I think Wearsafe is a great idea. However, in the 2 days or so that I have had it, it has been activated 3 times, just by being in my coat pocket. This, of course, makes my contacts wonder if it's just an accident, or if something is seriously wrong. I didn't feel it vibrate, so I wasn't able to shut it off. I didn't know I activated it till my husband called checking on me. So, for now, it wont be worn until I can figure out a better place to wear it. I don't know if other users have had this issue???

Still not sure....

I like the concept. But....I don't really understand it. I know I didn't know that when I lost it at a sold out college football game, that I would have to pay $30 to replace it (no, it isn't a lot, but for a mama of a college boy, on disability...it is) I have watched videos, read, and reread everything, but still don't really know how it works. I have it, my son is attached, I have accidentally set it off, and it has randomly gone off, when my purse (with fob clipped on side) was sitting on my dresser, across the room, and he checked in because I had activated...? I also got his girlfriend one. She's 21, works 2 full time jobs, and had a creep following her. She leaves hers in her car (which will kill the battery, and to me, defeats the whole reason of having it) because she doesn't understand it either! So....I don't know if I'm going to continue my membership. I'm still undecided. I just wish there was more info, or easily followed instructions...? I don't know. I LOVED giving it to her as a gift! I felt as though I was giving her (and my son and myself) a sense of security, and though I don't have an extra $10 a month, it is worth it to me! I had considered starting to do it as a graduation gift ($5 a month is easier for me) for their first year of college...but, if college kids can't figure out how to use them, it would be a waste. So, not giving up, just hoping to figure it out and easily be able to explain it as a gift.
