Customer service has been exceptional with constant updates to the progress of my order (Special mention should go to Antria for help and advice). As a first time purchaser of an inflatable kayak all email enquiries were responded to immediately offering advice and guidance.
Although I've just received the kayak and not had the opportunity to use it, I've been very impressed with the design and quality of the product. Very simple and straightforward to inflate as is the positioning of the seats and footrests. Deflation of the kayak is also very simple with the advantage of the supplied pump being able to operate in reverse to draw all the air out, making it simple to fold and package into the supplied holdall. This is large enough to store not only the kayak but also the paddles, pump, seats and foot rests too. Additionally, it's fitted with should straps and waist band for carrying.
Overall the is a well designed, great looking product that's backed up with excellent customer service.

I cannot recommend Wave highly enough! I recently ordered the Trailblazer 3.0, but realized after the fact that I had mistakenly selected the Blue version instead of the Camo.
I reached out to the team and had the pleasure of speaking with Henry and Antria, both of whom provided 10/10 customer care. Not only were they incredibly polite and professional, but they went above and beyond to fix my mistake. They arranged for a courier to collect the Blue unit covering the entire cost themselves and then shipped out the correct Camo model before the original had even arrived back at their warehouse.
The level of trust and proactive communication was fantastic. It’s rare to find a company that prioritises their customers to this extent.
I will be using again!

The customer service at Wave was very good - I interacted with many advisors (Esther, Milly, Henry and Sophie) pre-purchase (deciding which Kayak to chose) and post-purchase to resolve quieries, and they always replied in good time and were very helpful.
I ordered the 3 person Trailblazer Kayak and it seems to be made of high quality material and looks great 👍🏻. We still need to try it out in the water. There was an issue where the product was a bit different to what was online (one skeg instead of two) but I believe that was an admin error and the team helped resolve queries about this.

Had my new paddleboard come through but noticed the repair kit was missing the glue it mentions was included. I emailed customer support and straight away David got back to me and helped source a new one. Very happy with the speed and service and overall great paddleboard.

Firstly - their customer service is amazing. Even on an Easter bank holiday, Antria was super responsive and helpful.
Second - delivery - I was stunned that the delivery came the next day!
I've yet to try out the Romer - I'll update once I'm on the water, but having unpacked and checked the product, it looks great and I don't anticipate any problems.

Updated review as the wave team were great at resolving our issue, new board was sent out almost immediately and arrived the next day, and after using it yesterday seems to be great. Really stable and glides through the water effortlessly. Would be a 5 star review if we did not have the initial issues, and also the fin box design still needs some work in my opinion, as any sand or grit that gets into it makes it incredibly difficult to get the fins out.

I would strongly advise others to think twice before ordering from this company.
I placed an order on 5th February 2026 (Order WAVESUP41152) for a Cruiser 3.0 SUP inflatable paddleboard, which was intended as a birthday present for 10th March. At the time of purchase, the item was advertised as a pre-order with expected dispatch w/c 9th March and next day delivery.
Unfortunately, this timeframe was not met.
After multiple follow-ups, I received inconsistent updates and no clear dispatch confirmation or tracking information. Despite being told the item would be sent, no evidence of dispatch was ever provided.
On 26th March (today) - nearly 50 days after placing the order - I was then informed that the stock is now expected to arrive w/c 13th April, meaning a further delay of several weeks. This is a significant change from the original expectation and was only communicated after I repeatedly chased for updates.
I have now cancelled my order and requested a full refund.
While I understand that delays can happen, the main issue here is the lack of transparency, shifting timelines, and failure to provide clear or accurate information. Customers should not have to chase repeatedly or be given multiple different expectations.
Following my cancellation request, I was offered a 10% partial refund and a complimentary waterproof phone case as a goodwill gesture if I chose to continue waiting. Given the length of the delay and the uncertainty around delivery, this was not a suitable resolution. I have now cancelled my order and am currently awaiting the refund, which I expect to be processed within 14 days in line with UK consumer law.
Overall, this experience has been frustrating and disappointing, particularly as the item was purchased for a specific occasion.
Update (26th March): After requesting a refund twice today following nearly 50 days of delays and broken promises, the company has still not confirmed the refund in writing. I have now been forced to initiate a formal Chargeback/Dispute with my bank to recover my £152. Highly disappointed in the lack of transparency and stalling tactics.

Really like these guys for three reasons:
1. When I had an enquiry about my first board, their response was clear and swift.
2. When I ordered my second board, I was blown away by the packaging. Plenty of companies , especially in the outdoor sector, talk about their green creds, but Wave seem to genuinely go out of their way to walk the talk (or board the board). Every single component was packaged in recyclable paper-based packaging. I’m a cynical old bugger, and must say I was mightily impressed!
3. And thirdly, price. Wave operate at the ‘budget’ end of the SUP board scale, so delivering a good quality product at this price deserves recognition.
