We absolutely love our Water Babies swimming lessons! 💦 My daughter wasn’t too sure during the first couple of weeks, but now she absolutely loves it and looks forward to her lessons. It’s been amazing to see her confidence grow in the water, and a huge part of that is down to our fantastic teacher, Autumn, who is so lovely, patient and encouraging. We couldn’t be happier with the lessons and would highly recommend Water Babies to anyone! ❤️

Brilliant lessons
Brilliant lessons. We did them with my daughter and had such a great experience we have now started my son. Different pool and teacher but equally as great. Friendly, enthusiastic and fun. Couldn’t recommend enough.

£130 for one photo is outrageous
I had enquired with Water Babies for a course of lessons but decided to go elsewhere because I find it absolutely outrageous that they charge £50 for an underwater photoshoot (either standalone or as part of a package) and then £70 for ONE image on top of this. Ie £130 for one photo of your child. The price of the lessons themselves are fine but this is completely off-putting especially when other locations in Bath (including the university pool) do underwater photos at no extra charge

Because safety and image quality are our top priorities underwater, our shoots are comprehensive 30-minute sessions run by a specialist team of five staff members—including two dedicated photographers capturing both surface and underwater moments in a hired pool environment.
Because of the high running costs, we separate the shoot experience from image purchases so parents can attend with no commitment to buy photos unless they love them.
We completely understand that pricing preferences vary, but we always aim to provide a safe, memorable, high-quality service. If you'd ever like to discuss our lesson structure or photo package options further, please don't hesitate to reach out to our team directly.
Every session is fun and the children love it

Lovely sessions and admin.
Lovely planned sessions with a lovely teacher and comms with the admin office is always informative and timely. My little one began at 5 weeks old and his water confidence has developed so much in just 2 terms and I’ve got no doubt that he will continue to develop and improve.

Consistency is the Key. My daughter also started at just a few weeks old, and she swims for a club now. Seeing how the programme develops natural reflexes, confidence and safety through to stroke progression in little ones is amazing.

We are really loving pur WB experience
We are really loving pur WB experience. We started our son at 8 weeks old and our teacher Charlene has given us so much confidence each week. The lesson is always fun, thorough and on time, and if you need an adaptation it is always considered.
We will be continuing swimming lessons because of this and I am a big advocate for this as an important life skill too.

Water babies is amazing
Water babies is amazing . We have the best instructor called Abi . I take my grandaughter every week and she has totally flourished in the water . She loves it and is very confident already . We are due our underwater photo shoot soon . I highly recommend Water Babies .

Love waterbabies at Freeways, Leigh Woods. The pool is amazingly warm and chelsie is a great teacher and our daughter absolutely loves it and gets more confident every week!

Absolutely brilliant
My daughter started water babies at 9 weeks old and we have both thoroughly enjoyed every single lesson so far. Our teacher, Hannah, creates an incredibly calm environment where I feel absolutely safe and confident in introducing my baby to new swimming skills and experiences. My daughter loves the songs and movement and is perfectly happy to try new things in the water. A lovely weekly activity which is setting her up for a great foundation in swimming and water safety. Couldn't recommend highly enough!

I highly recommend Water Babies! My little boy has been swimming with them since he was 4 months old and he is now 2 years old — and we are definitely not stopping anytime soon! Watching his confidence and love for the water grow has been amazing. As a mum, I couldn’t ask for a more supportive, caring and fun environment. The teachers are wonderful with children and every class is such a lovely experience for both of us. Communication with the office has always been excellent and the whole team is friendly, helpful and professional. We absolutely love it!

Wilfred’s core strength and coordination has vastly improved thanks to his swimming. As well as him really enjoying being with the other babies and the swimming rhymes. Our coach Abi has been amazing at helping us progress, as well as teaching Wilfred water safety and to enjoy the water. I definitely recommend waterbabies to my friends and anyone else with a little one

My child’s been to so many swimming lessons and doesn’t naturally love the water but is really getting on well at water babies, Abi is great with the kids and makes them feel comfortable in the water, he’s progressed more here in the last few months than ever before!
