I will walk out of my way to get a…

I will walk out of my way to get a coffee from Watchhouse. They have a unique flavour coffee that distinguishes themselves from every other coffee shop / provider out there, you know when you are drinking a coffee from Watch House (its so good) The staff are friendly and engaging, nothing is too much to ask for. Good quality coffee and it’s consistent, you always know what you are going to get and it will be just as good as the last time you ordered it.

Decor is modern, fresh and minimalist- breath of fresh air from all these other rustic coffee places that all look the same.

Like i said before, i would rather walk an extra 10/15 min out of my way to get a coffee from here than settle for some average coffee provider.

Dodgy business practices, good coffee

WatchHouse have great coffee. As far as espresso-based coffees go, they probably make the best I've ever tasted.
However, they do have some dubious practices. I recently purchased coffee at their Maltby roastery. Their pour-over coffee was a whopping £14 per cup! Outrageous. What I thought was the price for beans was the price of a cup of coffee. Whilst they should have called out the exorbitant cost (not even normal for London), I did catch it before they made the coffee. They quickly processed a refund. However three weeks later they haven't actually paid it! I had to call and email corporate, provide the receipt and card information before they would process a refund.
Disingenuous- they simply will not give your money back. Undermines the very foundation of commerce; that we trust retailers to do what they commit to doing so. I'll avoid them in the future.

Stunning store designs poor customer service

Stunning store designs across all locations. Slightly lacking on food choice and service can be quite cold. Prices are also very high, but tolerable when able to enjoy a cosy place to unwind if it's not too busy at any of their thoughtfully chosen locations. Generally not the best customer service.

Marylebone branch

Marylebone branch. Initial coffee took 20 mins to arrive then cold. Ordered hot and cold food nearly an hour passed no sign waiter said bye and rode off on his bike. Then chased advised food ordered sold out yet it was on view and plentiful when ordered and warm food also ordered would be another half hour.

Avoid like the plague staff to busy staff hopeless. Management need to get a grip.

Rude staff in Tower Bridge

My partner and I are regulars at the Watchhouse in Tower Bridge.

We love the food, the vibe and it’s been a cute routine for us.

However the service has been downgrading rapidly. The new staff does not seem to care about customers and we have been treated with disregard throughout the whole service, making our experience unpleasant.

We have also been charged twice now for large drinks we did not order and it seems to be a new pattern that we have to complain every time we go there on a supposedly peaceful Sunday.

The staff (new people who joined) do not get the orders right and are rude. It’s a real shame.

Watchhouse has been losing the special touch that distinguished them from other places, in my opinion, by not hiring the right staff.

Nice coffee, one staff member ruined it for me FOREVEEEEEER!!!

Nice coffee. One quibble: work at Somerset House and walked into the Somerset House venue with my colleague so she could get a coffee. I had a can of coke in my hand whilst she did this and one particular member of staff apparently didn't like this and really rudely and confrontationally tried to make me throw it away, In a bizarre passive aggressive way even though this was the first time I've ever walked into this branch. So weird. I work next door and because of that I've not gone back again. It was SO WEIRD.
