I spent probably $15,000 or more…

I spent probably $15,000 or more getting six watches service and Polished Etc and not not a single one of those watches keeps the right time they were all chronographs and so the watch itself keeps time but the chronographs don't keep time and they're off not by a few minutes by tens of minutes an hour. I'm very disappointed in in the service I got from this place it sounded great and it was not great these watches do not even keep time. And some of the Cosmetic work like the reload is all falling off and looking terrible. I really would not recommend this place. They actually ruined one of my watches like truly ruined the dial because they didn't put the crystalline right and it got some steam in it so I sent it back and then whatever they did they truly 100% ruin the dial of a very very expensive watch. I would stay far away from this place seriously it's a huge disappointment

We did a number of impossible watches for this gentleman that no one else would touch. We lost money. Last we heard from him was 3 years ago. Kept ruining his watches in the shower. We wish him well. We won't do business with him again. He's upset about that. Lesson learned.

Will not return my watch!

I am still waiting for my expensive watch that they claimed was finished July 31. Nothing but a run around since then. BS like "I will tell Joe to send it out" etc. They did send one back, thank heavens. Crystal was ill fitting and it stopped after 3 weeks, but at least I got it back. I keep hoping they will send this one, but I have pretty much given up.

Unbelievable bad experience. Shame on me for trusting Simon and Joe.

I bought multiple watches from this business and was a loyal customer. Shame on me. When we sent a watch back to be authenticated and repaired, we were given the run around for months. Emails not returned, calls not answered. Eventually we got our )suspected fake) watch back, but no papers to prove authenticity, which is why we sent it back to them in the first place. They sent a nasty-gram to us as well. What actual legit business would do that, when we were just asking for what we had been promised on a watch for which we spent over 22 thousand dollars?

Beware.

Sold this very nice couple a Rolex and Patek.
They sent the Patek back for authentication.
The Patek came back heavily worn, band damaged. We opened the watch to get the serial number for Patek. Did a complete overhaul and put on a new aligator band. We put on a transparent back so the customer could see the beautiful gold workmanship of Patek. We returned the original back.
ALL FOR FREE!
Patek wanted almost $600 to tell us it was authentic.
We respectfully asked the customer to contact Patek directly for the certificate.
If anyone wants a clear back for their Patek or any luxury watch, we are the only ones that can do it properly with sapphire crystal.

This is a total scam

This is a total scam . I sent a watch for repair four months ago. Simon confirmed receipt and said it would be back in four weeks. He then sent a follow-up email asking for a further four weeks. A further eight weeks has passed and I have been ghosted . No reply. They don’t reply to email. WhatsApp nor phone calls . The watch has been stolen by watchartexchange. I have now initiated legal proceedings . Do not use this con artist

This is a sad story.
We have repaired several high end watches for this family.
They sent us a Zenith El Primero Tourbillon.
If anyone doesn't know what that is, it's the most difficult watch to repair in the world.
Our policy is 2 weeks turnaround time.
That's for a simple service.
THIS WAS A TOURBILLON.
It took longer. A lot longer.
The father threatened to sue us for theft.
We returned it and didn't even charge him.
Simon, the masterwatchmaker, is a genius.
No one else would have touched this watch.

BEWARE!!

BEWARE!!! If I could give Watchartexchange a 0, this would be it. I sent Simon a pocket watch in early April 2025, Fed-Ex, a gift from my late wife, so it holds sentimental value. He agreed to repair it. When I never heard back from Simon, I inquired. He said it would be completed by the end of the week, which was April 30. After hearing nothing, I asked again and was told it was being prepared for shipment, which was scheduled for May. An on and on it went. It is apparent my watch is either lost or cannot be repaired; in either case, Watch Art Exchange will not return the item. After multiple pleas, it appears that litigation is inevitable. I wonder what kind of people do such things?

Look brand new

I have had 4 Cartiers and a Tudor polished and repaired by Watch Art Exchange and Simon went above and beyond with service. They all look brand new! I am completely impressed and will be a lifetime customer!
PS. I am sorry for the fella who lost his Swiss watch but, I can assure you that the Post Office lost it. They have lost several of my packages and I refuse to send anything of value through them and they always claim that they delivered it.

Lost watch

I am sad to wright this but you need to be aware what might happen to you based on my experience. I mailed my 75 year old swiss watch to their PO box insured. Watchartexchange claims they never got the package. The P Office claims after going though all of the protocol that they delivered it and some one had to have pick it up. The P Office will not pay the insurance because they say they delivered it. Of course watchartexchange still saying the never got it. So here I am without my watch and I really don't know who is to blame. Beware, this could happen to you.

Sad story.
Nicest guy on the phone.
Older gentleman.
Sent his watch in by USPS because he couldn't use his computer to print the FedEx label.
Small package.
The package was discovered months later behind our filing cabinet.
We screwed up on this one.
We repaired the watch free of charge.
Watch has been returned.
This guy has been all over the place badmouthing us on forums and TrustPilot.
Got his watch back for free, $750.
Crickets.
We wish him all the best.

They did a great job on my watch but did not do what they said they were going to do

They did a great job on my watch but did not do what they said they were going to do. I cannot wear my nice watch, as they needed to add a link to the band. They promised to send a link in the mail, ut that has not happened. If they do send it, I'll have to pay over $100 to have it put in. What started out good, has gone to bad, as I send them $942.00 to service a watch I cannot wear.

I guess we should check TrustPilot more often.
This guy is actually a very important gentleman.
He loves Enicars and so do we.
We have one of the largest Enicar collection of New Old Stock.
https://www.watchartexchange.com/shop?BRAND=Enicar
Stephen is a classic example of buying a watch online without knowing what you're buying.
We have mint condition watches on our website: https://www.watchartexchange.com/
We are very selective in what we restore. Not all watches can be successfully restored.
Rolex routinely returns vintage watches because they cannot be restored or they replace movements if possible.
Stephen had a nasty habit of wearing his watch in the shower.
We lost money doing business with him.
Lesson learned.
No more.

This business treated me right

They provided refurbishment of my watches based upon photos submitted for a quotation. Their quotation was fair, and the work excellent.
I would use them again.
