Waste Concern are a great company to work with. The team are very friendly and respond quickly.

This company has been servicing our address for over 5 years and they are always reliable, if they miss a collection it usually is collected in the morning the next day which is understandable. They are super easy to set up and it helps for those households in areas where councils have limited the amount of rubbish you can produce by decreasing the sizes of their bins, price is great and they always are fast to respond if there are any queries. Highly reccomend!

Harry over at the cs team helped us get set up and stayed in contact until we were up and running.

Used for a few years then stopped for a year when I moved elsewhere now back with the collections. Great service and reliable. If they don’t come one day they come the following day. Even put the bin back in the garden and take it out on the days that I have forgotten to do it. Email them for any reason and get a reply within hours. Can’t fault them

We’ve used WasteConcern for a year and they’ve been very reliable. We needed their help since Buckinghamshire only collects our bin every other week and the amount of rubbish generated was more than that.

We've been working with Waste Concern for 2 years now. They provide refuse collection for our holiday lets. The service provided to date has been excellent.
Of special note is the fact that we can ask our guests to separate household waste and recycling into just two bags, both of which can be placed in the same wheelie bin. This is then emptied on a weekly or fortnightly cycle as required by our business. Makes things much easier for our guests but is still good for the planet!
Our point of contact at Waste Concern provides excellent customer service and flexibility with organising increased or decreased collection frequencies as required. The collection team has always gone above and beyond to ensure collections are made when we need them. Very happy with the service provided at all points of the chain.

After cancelling my contract with WasteConcern they later said that email wasn't enough and as I didnt post a written letter that it didn't count and sent me an invoice for over £600.. ended up paying £200+ off that.. 3 years on.. their yellow bin full of refuse still sits in my garden. I'll also add that I am registered physically disabled with cognitive impairments.. terrible stress caused by the company.

Update: The new team led by Harry were very helpful after reading my review, he stayed in contact with me and my bin was collected !! I'm so pleased, I'm hoping that WasteConcern will now be a more satisfying experience I am updating my review from 1 star to 4 to reflect this.

We've been a Waste Concern customer for almost 3 years now.

Really easy and simple to set up, basically it does what it says on the tin.

Collection was arranged to be the same day as our council bins so no extra hassle.

3 times in 3 years our bin collection has been missed. Sent them an email to let them know, recieved a quick reply apologising each time and collection was arranged for the following day. 👍🏻

Everything goes in the same bin and anything which can be recycled is sorted out on their end.

Would 100% recommend to anyone finding their council bin is too small or a busy family who don't have time to sort out all the recycling.

As contract winded up in one of my sites, did not respond to a single email then stopped picking up rubbish 2 weeks before end of contract, worst company I’ve ever used, incredibly unprofessional, their bins are still onsite 4 months later nobody will take them away, as stated in my final email (which I assume was then ignored) - ‘I will never do business with you again’

Waste Concern have provided an excellent service to our family over the last three years, including during Covid. Not only is the service highly reliable, I am able to communicate with them easily by email, and they are always friendly and helpful.

We have been with them for a few years and did have problems with their local contractors, but for the last year the local guys have been briliant. The bin has been collected and even put back on our drive, unlike the council collectors who abandon them wherever they like.
Worth the extra since you can guarantee a collection, again unlike the council.

No issues with collection, always collected. Was a little confused by the whole setup as communication seemed to be lacking and my bin eventually arrived after a chaser and seemed to only have been ordered at chasing. Happily arranged a credit though for missed collections and not had an issue since

I've been a WasteConcern customer for two years now and feel very well placed to review them.

I purchased the large 1,110l bin as we're a very large family. The bin is a distinctive yellow so you're not going to confuse it with your council bins.

Initially I was paying for a fortnightly service, as we'd just moved in and were decorating and so I had a lot of stuff I needed to get rid of.

Now the beauty of this service is everything goes in the same bin. It doesn't matter if it's general waste, recycling, and/or garden waste, it's all put in the one bin and sorted out back at the depot. This makes everything so easy to deal with.

The initial plan was to wait until we'd finished decorating and we were settled in our new home and then reduce down to the the on-demand service, but this was so much easier than the council bins and their never ending restrictions that I instead moved to a monthly collection and this change was pretty seamless.

I'm able to cancel collections when I'm away on holiday or push them back a week or two and Harry has always been able to action this quickly and easily.

If there was a way to completely opt out of the council service and get a bit of a rebate on the council tax I'd probably use WasteConcern for everything, but as it stands I try to balance it out still use the council services too. But WasteConcern is heads and shoulders above them.

One time I put the bin out for collection at the end of my drive and went to bed, when my wife was leaving for work the next day she noticed that a mysterious neighbour had dumped a load of their rubbish in and around our bin. I was livid thinking that it wasn't going to get collected and I was going to have to pay extra to get rid of rubbish that wasn't mine. I called up the office but in the few minutes it took to speak to somebody the collection team and turned up and taken the whole lot away. Now thats five star service from a five star company.
Absolutely faultless.

Have been using them for years and only once has the collection been missed and that was because the road was blocked. They happily re-arranged and next day they came and picked up. Been great experience.

Always helpfull occasional miss collections are always dealt with quickly and great communications although frustrating missed collections due to outside company are not waste concerns fault but they do everything they can to get it back on track
