My Walmart moneycard was hacked for $500 dollars. I filled out a dispute and it was proven my Walmart moneycard was hacked into.Walmart moneycard refused to give me my money back. So I lost $500 dollars.

My experience was good because I know what I wanted and I head to the direction of the items I wanted and found a line to cash out and leave…. In and out so I won’t spend what I don’t have..

As soon as your first deposit hits the MoneyCard, they take $5.95 for a “service fee” because you didn’t deposit $500 in the last month - even though I just opened my account 4 days ago. Thanks for screwing people when prices are already bad enough.

This card was great until recently.now there's always a problem.right now I'm stuck can't pay my rent or get groceries because there's "an issue".will be going to chime this card sucks!

Since updating to this new version about a week ago I've started having problems. My balance isn't getting updated when I use my card to pay online. Can't swipe to check balance anymore. I'd like to go back to the old version please. It worked just fine, why change it.

Purchased money card 9/4/25 at 12:15 pm lost card in approximately 1 hour. Contacted customer support # as found on the original package. Without the 16 digit # customer support is absolutely USELESS!!! Tried to go online to customer support to report a lost card. Once again absolutely USELESS!! The woman who sold me the card told me that it was already activated. But on the card there is a sticker with directions to activate however I did not have a chance to activate it. There's $300.00 on the card. I WANT my money back now!!

Don’t purchase any money cards from Walmart. I paid $500 for a Walmart card and never received a credit on my card not one penny. Green Dot Bank where the card is from are horrible. No customer service from Walmart or Green Dot. Your just throwing your money away if you buy any type of card from these people….don’t do it !

After purchasing the Walmart Money Card
and adding money to it at a Walmart store, I went online to activate it. They took $5.97 out of my account the instant I purchased it. Also, they would continue to take out $5.97 monthly. After setting up my account, they WILL NOT ALLOW ADDING FUNDS WITHOUT A $4 fee. This is the WORST debit card on the market. STAY AWAY. I BELIEVE LOAN SHARKS OFFER LESS GOUGING RATES. DON'T BE STUPID. STAY AWAY.

Their customer service phone line is running by an Indian SCAM company.

They are refusing to send a refund check of my closed account balance.

They are just wasting my time. Liars! Called them 6-7 times and they said "follow the e-mails, no problem we will send you a check" (And phone had always been picked up by people with THICK accent. So it makes me think that they're not even located in US!)

I have been dealing with these scammers for couple of months. I know that they don't believe in god or being a good person. Just pure evil these people are! If anyone see this message, Please help me! And stay away from these creatures!

Each Month I am getting statements from the Walmart money card in my email. I wanted to discover why I was receiving the statements, so I logged on to the related Walmart money card account. At one point I signed up for a Walmart money card, but the activation did not work properly. At that time, I attempted multiple times with two different cards, but neither card activated. Nothing worked. This past month I tried to call Walmart on the toll-free number on the website, but they require the last 4 digits of an active card to speak with you. Since the card was never activated, the automated system will not allow you to talk to a live person. I was able to talk to use the chat feature of the online account, but because my card is not active, they are unable to help me. I asked to chat with a supervisor, but my request for a supervisor is ignored. Currently there are no fees nor is there a balance. I still feel frustrated, because I can can not resolve this issue. There are no official avenues to resolve this issue.

It's Terrible
I went to money services to pay some bills through walmart Money services. I told the girl I wanted to pay my water bill in my electric bill or am I united over-the-counter chord? Instead, she asked me to insert my card and she billed me twice for one bill which threw monkey wrench in what I had to do being on a set income is. Hard.
For somebody to play with your money. These kids are too busy on Facebook or on their phones to do a proper job. So I called the store and spoke with Joey who's full of himself very rude and considerate. Don't know how to handle customers. This store is located at 360 Harbison boulevard in Columbia, South Carolina. Went back to the store after I had gotten home and settled in and taken.My medicaution I had to get out there and dri don't like this kind of bad business! People watch your money and watch closely when you're paying a bill and what people are doing with your credit card! Strange greedy evil people However

I called to see what time money center closed & had another question about fees for checks, the lady proceeds to tell me the money center doesn’t cash checks.. lol. I’ve had multiple checks cashed there so I was a bit confused. She then said she would transfer me, I could then hear her & a coworker talking crap? As if I asked for alot or was rude. I let her know I could hear them. She then hung up the phone on me. Customer service is trash. This is sad, yall just hire anyone & they talk to customers however. Very unprofessional & rude.

I have had this card for 11 years and am closing my account. The reason is that I've had two recent negative experiences involving their so-called "customer service" representatives. During each call, I politely questioned the reasoning behind long delays in crediting pending refunds. Not only did the representatives not have an answer for me, they both abruptly disconnected the call. I've never experienced representatives rudely hanging up on me because I asked a question. They really are the worst at their job. There are plenty of other banking options out there. I strongly encourage anyone considering opening a Walmart money card account to look elsewhere. You'll be happier for doing so.
